If you’re feeling a sense of panic due to this unprecedented time, today’s MarieTV is for you.

My dear friend, Nick Ortner, is here to guide us through a 3-minute EFT tapping session to lower stressful, anxious thoughts.

The Emotional Freedom Technique, commonly known as tapping, is a natural healing modality that calms the fight or flight center of your brain. It’s a mixture of breathwork, meditation, and affirmations — all while tapping your fingertips on the meridian points of your body.

Nick has been teaching EFT tapping to millions of people for years through his company, The Tapping Solution. Years ago, Nick tapped with me after Josh and I were in a bad car accident here in LA. I was really shaken up and felt anxious about getting back into a car, riding my bike, or even walking around outside. Tapping made a tremendous difference.

As you’ll hear in our interview, Nick is on a mission to help folks suffering from trauma, pain, and anxiety. His company has put together some incredible free resources to mitigate coronavirus-related stress and anxiety, which you can take advantage of here.

Less stress and anxiety in 3 minutes? Yes, please. Try this simple, research-backed tool with @nickortner Click To Tweet

They’re also offering healthcare workers and first responders 6 months of free access. If you’re in charge of a hospital or team of nurses, or help healthcare workers and first responders in any way, please share this resource with them. We need to do every single thing we can to support our front-line heroines and heroes.

If you’re looking for another tool to cultivate a calmer, stronger, and healthier mind, this episode is a must-watch. You’ll learn:

  • Why keeping stress at a minimum is so important right now.
  • The science and research that proves EFT tapping can lower your cortisol by 43%.
  • Why Nick and I are skeptical about some tapping affirmations and what to say instead.
  • A 3-minute guided tapping session that will lower your stress and anxiety.
  • Inspiring stories from healthcare workers and first responders using EFT tapping in the midst of this global pandemic.

**Health note: please remember to wash your hands before touching your face!

Use These 9 Tapping Points for Your Next Session

Here are the nine tapping points that Nick referred to in today’s episode:

  1. Side of your hands (think karate chop)
  2. Inside corner of your eyebrows
  3. Side of your eyes
  4. Under your eyes
  5. Under your nose
  6. Chin
  7. Collarbones
  8. Under your arm, just below your armpits
  9. Top of your head

Need a go-to list of affirmations? Use the script from Nick’s guided tapping session below as you tap along your body’s nine meridian points.

Even though I feel so much anxiety about everything that’s going on, I choose to relax and feel safe now.
Even though this feels so overwhelming, I choose to relax and feel safe now.
Even though I’m holding so much stress in my body, it’s safe to let it go now.
There is so much going on, and that’s okay.
It’s safe to feel this anxiety, and it’s safe to begin to let it go.
It’s safe to feel all the stress, and it’s safe to let it go.
It’s safe to breathe deeply.
I acknowledge all my stress, and I begin to feel safe in my body.
The more I relax, the more my body heals.
Letting go now.

Now Nick and I would love to hear from you. How did you feel after doing this tapping session? How might you use this going forward? Leave me a comment below and let me know.

Thanks so much for sharing about tapping, Marie. I learned about tapping several years ago and have loved taking part in Nick’s Tapping Summit. Tapping is so impactful because it combines the psychological (meditation/affirmations) with the physical (meridians). It feels like such a tangible way to lessen our stress.

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Wonderful, Jennifer. So good to hear that you’ve been benefitting from tapping for such a while now and attending Nick’s summit, too. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with it here! We love having you as part of the B-School family ❤️

    • Nick Ortner

Thank you, Jennifer! I’m so glad you enjoy our Tapping World Summits! Be well!

      ❤️Nick Ortner

  2. Lisa

I actually sat down to tap last week, and instead of feeling better, I felt a new anxiety from tapping over touching my face.
I stuck to the top of my head, my hands, etc.
I wonder if any others are feeling this right now.

    • grace

As Nick just mentioned, if you have not been able to wash your hands, just skip those areas of the face and tap on the other points. Do not let the facial tapping issue stop you, because the benefits you will receive are amazing!! I have tapped on every issue imaginable, with so many positive results, that I would not want anyone to miss the same opportunities!!

    • What you have experienced Lisa, the increase of anxiety tapping on your face, is an example of a specific aspect of your tapping session. Which is a good thing. Instead of forcing yourself to tap on these points, I suggest to tap on the karate chop point for a while by first acknowledging your difficulty to tap on these points. Example of a phrase that can be used (taking your own words) while tapping on the karate point – “Even though I feel a new anxiety just at the idea of tapping over my face, I choose to feel safe and try later on”.

After a while of doing this (meaning arriving at a one or two on the scale of 1 to 10 regarding tapping on the face points), I suggest to start a new round of tapping using the other points as shown by Mr Ortner with the subject of your anxiety. More specific you are (aspect of your anxiety), better the results will be.

I found EFT in 2008 after many years of experiencing pain and anxiety. I created an NGO in 2016 with the help of B-school (SOS e-stress Costa Rica) to help people to shine their light in spite of life challenges. EFT was the primary tool that I used during the workshops.

  3. Thank you so much for this Marie! I learnt about tapping from Gala Darling and since then I have found it really amazing to help with my chronic illnesses and to ease the resistance I feel to accepting my body as it is. It’s so powerful indeed.

    Georgie- B Schooler 2020

    • Julia - Team Forleo

That’s amazing, Georgie! We’re so thrilled to hear how tapping has helped you with your health and body. It really is such a powerful tool. We appreciate you sharing!

  4. Wannida

Sometimes, no, many times, I feel like you read my mind. Or you have my future journey written down somewhere. But I’m convinced this is more than having experiences!
Thank you Marie for supporting all of us, many times, many ways, with your content and your extraordinary services.

    • Wannida

Just want to add something. It’s blinking in my head!

I just got this idea to combine tapping technique from Nick with a tip from Marie’s Everything is Figureoutable! I love the idea of giving funny names to certain negative feelings that make us feel smaller than we are. And while tapping and calling out anxiety in its name, I felt a little scared inside. But when I called it Anxie (An-xy), I felt like I was nurturing it with sympathy and I felt calmer, better. I felt like it’s figureoutable and it was not bigger than me like the name Anxiety made me feel!

I would properly give a cute name for each of the specific emotion I need to deal with. The next time they arrive again, I can face them with open arms (and the cute names I prepare).

Thank you Nick and Marie! This is really needed right now!

      B-School, class of 2020 😀

      • Julia - Team Forleo

We love this idea, Wannida! So glad to hear that this is just what you needed right now. Keep taking such sweet, gentle, loving care of yourself – it makes all the difference! And it’s such an honor to have you as a B-Schooler ☺️ XOXO

      • Nick Ortner

Love how you made it work for you, Wannida!

        ❤️ Nick Ortner

        • thank you so much for sharing such a positive experience with us. Personally i really appriciate it. thanks again

  5. JanEvans

How does this work if people are on medication? Would they need to consult a medical practitioner before they do it?

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Hi Jane! This is a great question, and we’d absolutely encourage you to check in with both The Tapping Solution team ([email protected]) and your doctor about this directly, as they’ll have some great guidance to help make sure you’re feeling safe using this technique given your unique circumstances.

    • Nick Ortner

Hi there! If you are currently working with a medical practitioner, then yes, it would definitely be useful to let the doctor know what additional tools you are using.

      Hope this helps! ❤️
      Nick Ortner

  6. Thank you for the session. I’m used to tapping sometimes for anxiet and it makes me calm down. Good he mentioned the Louise Hay’ works Whose afirmations i are using to help me too.
    Thank you all!

  7. Thank you Marie and Nick,
I think it is a wonderful idea for these moments.
This gives me and idea to do something similar with a friend of mine that is an expert in this EFT. I will do it in Spanish, so people that do not know English, can benefit for these.
    Thanks again,

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Beautiful, Gaby! We love that idea. It’s definitely a time to spread this technique far and wide, with every single person who could benefit right now ❤️

  8. Lord John Garland

I was greatly inspired by this broadcast with the EFT to offer Reiki to the audience and especially to ANYONE who may be suffering from ANY kind of disease or discomfort medically/emotionally.
Reiki, simply put, is Universal Chi (Life-force energy). Everything is made up of energy, whether it’s the air we breathe, or the dense energy form called matter. Within the objects we see, plants, animals, earth, etc. there is Chi energy. A Reiki Master is one who is attuned to the source of Universal Chi and is able to direct its energy into a person, plant, object, etc. for the purpose of healing/restoring back to health.
I have been a Reiki Master/Practitioner for the last 22 years and have helped 100’s from all over the world heal from all sorts of disease, as well as pets and plants throughout.

  9. Samantha Varnerin

Oh my goodness! Thank for this Marie and Nick! I’m a professional cuddler and have been trying to figure out how to help my clients from afar, and this is exactly what I think many of my clients need. Thank you!

    • Nick Ortner

Awesome! So glad to hear it, Samantha!

      ❤️Nick Ortner

  10. Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve known this tool for a while now but never remember to use it so I’ll definitely check out the App and try to be more consistent.

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Awesome, Svenja! We hope it’s SO helpful for you as you begin practising more regularly 🙂

  11. Brandy

When I’m tapping on my face, it really makes my nose tingle! So much that I had to stop and really rub my nose! Is that normal? What causes that?

    • Julia - Team Forleo

That’s so interesting, Brandy – really glad you tried out the tapping! We will absolutely all have different physical responses to this technique and the release of stress in general. This would be a great question to check in with The Tapping Solution team about directly, as I’m sure they’ll have some further insights!

      • Brandy

I downloaded the app & I will definitely do that! Thanks so much!

  12. Grace

Thank you Marie and Nick for such an uplifting and informative session! I have never heard of this tapping and will be practicing it daily now. I work in a busy Animal Hospital here in BC and find stress daily, having to deal with pet parents and sick companion animals and all the restrictions surrounding us. As well, I work part time with an Alzheimers client who can’t remember where he went today which adds to it all. I will be forwarding this episode to a friend/ coworker who is pregnant right now. She will appreciate the tool for sure. Thank you a million times for all your support and love and for being there each week and in between!! ??

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Wonderful, Grace! We’re so happy this was uplifting for you. Thank YOU for sharing it with others who could also benefit, and for the incredible work you’re doing in the world. We hope adding tapping to your daily routine is so supportive in keeping you strong, healthy, and shining your light! ?

  13. This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing, Marie & Nick! My breath was tight and stuck in my chest at the beginning of the exercise. My thoughts were skeptical that “this is how it always is and how it will be for me” and after the tapping exercise it was open and light. Unbelievable. Astonishing how something seemingly so simple can ground us and bring us back to our center. Much love to you both.

    • Julia - Team Forleo

So happy to hear this was helpful in shifting your breathing and thoughts, Courtney! ?Isn’t it amazing in its simplicity and power? Thanks so much for giving tapping a go, keep it up! XO

  14. Barbara Spikes

Thank you. Perfect time for this as far as I’m concerned. I have done EFT before, but have fallen out of the practice. And the deep breathing is a great practice for right now. Thank both of you for all you do.

    • Nick Ortner

So glad to hear that tapping has come back into your life! ?

      ❤️ Nick Ortner

  15. I learned about Tapping when I was a practicing therapist seeing therapy clients. It was very effective for numerous situation they found themselves in. I’ve used it with coaching clients and myself. This episode was so timely. I am offering Coaching Coffee Breaks for all my clients 2/week at no charge so they get more support. I posted the link in our chat today. I know it will help others.

  16. Thank you so much!!! I’m going live to share this on Facebook later.

    • Julia - Team Forleo

Thank you so much for sharing the love and support, Stephanie! ??

  17. Thank you Marie and Nick for this wonderful interview. I have been tapping for nearly 4 years, so I consider myself a ‘professional tapper’.
In fact tapping helped me to get over my fears and anxiety when I wanted to do B School back in 2018. Part of me wanted to do the course, but there was another part of me that felt extremely fearful about the financial commitment. Tapping saved me and the rest is history.
I also use tapping to increase productivity and get over my blocks about using technology. This is a work in progress.
When Australia was ravaged by bush fires tapping helped me to get through extremely confronting and challenging times.
I cannot thank Nick and Jessica Ortner enough for their work, integrity, and generosity. There is an incredible amount of free materials on their website, and their programs are magnificent. Once again thank you, Marie and Nick for this interview and for making such a difference with the work you do around the world.

    • Julia - Team Forleo

You’re amazing, Liliana! It’s so fantastic to hear how tapping and Nick & Jessica’s work have supported you through challenging times, when you felt confronted with fears and anxiety. We love knowing that it’s helped you work through B-School and building your business, too! Thank you so much for sharing how it’s helped you here. So grateful to have you in this community! XO

    • Nick Ortner

Hi Liliana! Thank you so much for sharing about how Tapping has been helpful for you. It sounds like you’ve really benefited from Tapping in SO many ways- and that’s incredible! Go you!!

      ❤️ Nick Ortner

  18. This is HUGE – thank you so much for bringing this, Marie. I’ve heard about EFT before but was never too motivated to get into it. Now?? uh, yeah, different story. Pandemic, friends getting sick, quarantined in a small condo with a mentally ill child and neighbors hacking & coughing…. stressing that I can’t focus / get work done / make progress on ANYTHING because of the stress…. ugh… saints preserve us… bring on the tapping. xoxo

    • Julia - Team Forleo

We’re sending so much love your way, Beth – you will get through this! We really hope that EFT is supportive for you ❤️

  19. Loved this. I have read Nick’s book and done some tapping, but was so excited to learn about the app, especially since I’m a nursing assistant working in a hospital and then coming home to my family, as well as an aspiring entrepreneur feeling tremendous pressure and anxiety to get my message out into the world in a bigger way, and stress that I haven’t been able to do as much as I wanted…

Love being part of your B School community, Marie. Thank you for all the value you bring to the world.

    • How do I get my picture to show instead of just the quotation marks? I think this is my first time actually commenting here, even though I’ve been following Marie for years!!

      • Julia - Team Forleo

Danielle, thank you SO much for all you do. Please be so kind, gentle, and patient with yourself during this time – it’s truly a lot to be facing and balancing! Take such good care of yourself, too. We’re so grateful to have you in the B-School family and we aren’t going anywhere, so you can take your time with the program. Remember, you have lifetime access!

To get your photo to show in the comments here, you’ll need to set up a Gravatar, which you can do right here: That should do the trick!

  21. Thank you so much Marie, I love your work and that of Nick and his family too. I’m a Tapping practitioner and trainer and tap daily but it’s so good to follow someone else and tap along! I feel so much better after that short tap and your questions were awesome! Really got some good answers for the sceptics. Keep up the amazing work beautiful human, much love, Emma Johnson, Inner Smile

    • Renee – Team Forleo

Thank you so much for these kind words, Emma! And your services are so needed for lots of people right now. Sending you big virtual hugs! ?

  22. Kathy

Thanks for this! This is such a great interview with so much good information. I am just getting into tapping, purchased Nick’s book and am loving it. I’ve already shared it with a friend who is experiencing a lot of anxiety. Can’t wait to share it with more people.

  23. Alison

Thank you so much for sharing this tapping technique. I struggle with meditation and I think I could really benefit from this.

  24. David Cassady

You make me smile out loud. I will try that although I don’t feel to stressed in the middle of this pandemic .
We have a great stress reliever too.

    Have a blessed day!

  25. I had the opportunity to listen and try this today. My pulse was lowered by 10 points after the 3 minute exercise. I was surprised and pleased. Too much stress in our lives right now. I did this 2 hours ago and my pulse is down 3 more points… This is a good thing!

    • Renee – Team Forleo

This is incredible, Linda! So glad this brought you some ease and calm today. ?

    • Nick Ortner

Awesome, Linda!! Wishing you continued relief!

  26. Andrea Britto

What a discover! Just this only fews minutes brought me calm and I’m feeling relaxed.
    Thank you so much!

    • Renee – Team Forleo

Yaay! We’re so glad to hear that, Andrea. Sending big virtual hugs to you. ?

  27. Kathy

This was so helpful! Thank you!

  28. Ellen Boyce

Thank you so much for revisiting tapping during this time. I have been sick this week and worrying that I have the virus. The suffering I have been dealing with has largely been due to the stress and fear around it. During the tapping session I found that naming the stress was particularly powerful. It is scary to say your fears out loud but I felt a real emotional release and so much calmer afterward. Reducing stress right now is so important for all our healing. I downloaded the app and have used it already twice today! Feeling better. Thanks again.

    • Renee – Team Forleo

Thank you so much for sharing this story with us, Ellen. We’re so sorry you’re not feeling well, and you’re absolutely right… stress affects us in so many ways, including our body and health. We’re so glad we could bring this to you today, and we’re sending you lots of virtual hugs and good wishes for health! ?

  29. Deborah

Thank you for this…your weekly podcasts are amazing gifts!

I actually bought Nick’s book on Tapping 6 years ago, for my ex-husband who was experiencing anxiety, (An-xy) LOL! and never opened it. Going to find it now!

  30. Wow, thank you Marie and Nick for sharing and providing this beautiful tool and moment. I tried tapping a couple of years ago and it used to trigger more anxiety and agitation for me and had a hard time sitting with it. Doing it now, I had a different experience and super grateful for one, I didn’t refuse to do it because of my last experience, and two –I was able to receive the benefit instantly and was so needed right now as probably with everyone. Many blessings and thanks again for your giving.
    Much love,
    Nyla Cione

    • Renee – Team Forleo

We’re delighted this brought you to a new experience with tapping, Nyla! Thank you for sharing with us! ✨

  31. tarriss saurer

This was amazing. I am a true believer of tapping. You both put a fun little twist for anxiety. LOVE xoxo

  32. Mary

So grateful to learn this skill today. Thank you so much!

    • Renee – Team Forleo

We’re so glad this found you when you needed it! ?

  33. I loved this interview and demo. Marie had such great questions and Nick Ortner gave the audience an interesting and thorough explanation of EFT. I’m a newly certified practitioner and this video taught me how impactful a great interview can be to introduce this modality to others. Bravo!

    • Nick Ortner

Aw, love this. Thanks for your support, Lynn! Best wishes to you!

      ❤️Nick Ortner

  34. Tapping has been instrumental in my healing from being hit by a car in 2008 (healing PTSD and chronic pain) and I continue to use it for stress-relief, self sabotage, letting go of limiting beliefs and more. I agree. So weird! I’m still astounded at the results I get and how my clients shift. 🙂 Thank you for this very important episode. XO

    • Nick Ortner

Hi, Karen! So glad tapping has been helpful for you. I’m also STILL surprised at how amazingly it works. ? An incredible tool to have on hand. Hugs to you!

  35. I loved when Marie and Nick referred to EFT Tapping as a “Tool in our toolkit.” I welcomed tapping into my life 3 years ago when I was doing some intense therapy. This was the ONLY one of my therapists recommendations that actually helped me! I have since then always referred to tapping as my shovel! In my tool shed I have some really nice, expensive hoes and rakes but I seem to always use the shovel, it’s so versatile and works in so many situations! The entire episode was absolutely fantastic but to take it way further, y’all even brought in the beautiful Louise Hay! Gosh, so grateful that I made my way into such a wonderful community! Thank you both for the work you do in this world! ~ Leah Abraham

    • Kate - Team Forleo

I love that analogy, Leah! Thanks so much for sharing. We’re glad to hear how EFT has become such a useful tool — the shovel! — in your tool kit. We hope you’re safe and well ?

      • Leah Abraham

I understand that this question will probably not be posted and I am totally fine with that. I just had to ask though… Kate (team Forleo rep that responded to my comment), did you play soccer at enmu? It would just be way to bizarre if our paths crossed in this way… So just had to ask. I’m on
LOVE to all of team Forleo and the beautiful community!! ~ Leah

  36. Irene

    Hi Marie, hi Team Forleo,
This was amazing!! I really hope it reaches a lot of people and most of all I hope it reaches those who really, really need it right now!! For me it was a before and after Tapping. I tap everyday with the app and it helps me so much!! Last year I listened to the free audios from the Annual World Tapping Summit and as soon as I could, I got the videos and transcripts and it was so life-changing!! It helped me a lot to manage my stress and anxiety levels, to work on my self-confidence and also, something really important for me, to reduce the intensity and frequency of my migraines!! Lifesaver!! I suffered from migraines since I was a teenager and to the point where I had to quit my job because I was sick not able to leave my bed every single week. So, please all of you, if you are not sure, give it a try, it’s really wonderful. Since then, I’m always recommending it to my friends, family and even translating some of the transcripts to Spanish so my mum and my brother can tap. My nephew, who’s 11 years old and has ADHD is learning to tap and enjoying it, we decided to tap together through videocall since we are in different countries. Please give it a try, it’s so helpful!! Thank you Jessica, thank you Nick, what you are doing is amazing!! And thank you Marie for this wonderful idea you had, I hope this interview with Nick reaches a lot of people, especially those who are working so hard to help others!! Stay safe, stay at home!!

  37. Gayle Knapp

Just doing the 2 rounds of tapping in this podcast made me less stressed! In your offer of free 6-months please consider adding the TEACHERS who with little notice have had to switch to doing online instruction and who are stressed beyond imaginable because of trying to get instruction online, of worry about their students, of dealing with personal anxiety about the virus….

    • Nick Ortner

      Hi Gayle! Thanks so much!
We do have a category for teachers in our App that is always free, and we are adding more to it soon! We appreciate you!

      ❤️ Nick

  38. Keri

    Marie and Nick,
Thank you so much for sharing this information regarding Tapping. Before today I have never heard about it, but participated with you during the video and felt some immediate relief. I just downloaded the app and look forward to share it with my family. This will be a nice addition to include during the day along with practicing meditation.
What a gift to share this for free with our responders. I hope they know and can feel how cherished they are by so many people. We are so grateful they are out there on the front lines helping so many people and trying to help overcome this horrible virus. Sending out hugs and love to them all.
Please continue to do what you do best, it is greatly appreciated. Take care, stay safe and keep healthy.

    • Kate - Team Forleo

We’re so glad to hear this has already helped you find relief! Thank you for sharing it with your family, too. We hope you’re all safe and well ?Sending you all love.

  39. Zaide

I have been super stressed and anxious for weeks now. And it has been a combination of COVID-19 & WFH, but also my work has been crazy busy (and I’m not even in a profession affected by COVID-19).
Today I was feeling better about the stress/anxiety but decided to try the tapping when I was watching the video. By the first round, I was at a level 4-5 of stress/ anxiety. After tapping, it was a solid 2.

Thank you Mama Marie! Now I’m putting Tapping as a meditation technique in my tool box.

    • Nick Ortner

      Love it!!

      ❤️ Nick

  40. Kathy Anne Rodriguez

This was amazing! I did it and even with the dog barking behind me which always brings me stress my stress level went from 7 down to 3!!!! I am studying to be a Health Coach and lead a plant based support group, also a B-School student right now. I am going to introduce this to my group and try to learn as much about it as I can so I can share it with those who I help suffering from chronic diseases. Thanks for this! Perfect timing!

  41. Nick Ortner

?Thanks to everyone for tuning in! I loved reading your stories and I’m so glad that Tapping can be useful for so many different parts of your life. What an incredible tool, right?!

If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out to our amazing team at [email protected] ❤️ I’m also on Instagram & Facebook and I love connecting personally with you there.

Sending you peace, love, and light!

    Keep Tapping!

  42. You are both so amazingly generous and brilliant. I have used tapping for years, but this talk inspired me to re-commit and remember to use tapping with all my clients right now. All the best, Karin

Thank you so much for this Marie!!!
    Hugs from Dominican Republic.

  44. Hi Marie,
I’ve been doing tapping for over a year and find it So Powerful. Like gleefully so. Its such a relief to know that things can be shifted that have weighed me down for years.

Coincidently after listening to your episode yesterday, I read an article below about undoing traumatic memories, and I believe this is the explanation of why/how tapping works, and also to the question you posed about why focus on the negative. When we activate a traumatic memory or thought at the same time as a disconfirming experience (tapping), we have cognitive dissonance, and release the old trauma-formed belief.

Love it when things come together! Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for this tool, Nick and Marie.
I like the simplicity and easiness with which I can do this exercise and in 3 minutes too. It’s my first time doing this technique so I was more focused on getting the technique done right as opposed to letting myself feel. Now that I know I am going to use this technique to help me release stress, especially now with so many reasons to become stress.
    Thanks again!!!

Wonderful! We used to do this in my dance classes. When I was young I had no idea what it really was, nor cared, I just did it cause I knew it was good for me. But it’s funny that all these techniques I first learned in dance, i.e., breathwork, visualization (before the performance), tapping, yoga for breath and bloodflow to brain, meditation (of course!!), all these techniques people are now using to enhance their performance and gain back their mental well-being.

  47. Tapping and meditation combined are like the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup of mental self- care! They’re each effective on their own, but when you put them together, look out! It’s the perfect cocktail! That’s been my experience, anyway. Thank you, Marie and Nick!

  48. I loved this and downloaded the app. I will start meditation with tapping in the mornings tomorrow and share with clients. I love the affirmation “there is so much going on and that’s ok.” Accepting something that is completely out of our control can calm the nervous system down quickly.

Thank you, Marie and Nick for this episode.
Now I finally got why you “first have to see the dirt before you start cleaning”. I was also feeling uncomfortable with beginning with negative sentences but now this makes so much sense.
I really enjoyed this episode and also downloaded the app. I am so glad being able to learn this technique and add to my personal tool kit.
This app and technique really makes a difference – thank you for sharing.

This episode was truly a gift. I work for the British Columbia Public Service and while I’m one of the lucky one’s who still has a job, my hours have vastly increased as well as the to come up with solutions to support British Colombians during this unprecedented time. This weekend I volunteered to screen repatriated citizens who will be arriving from abroad having being stuck someplace in the world for weeks. While I’m grateful to be of service I’m definetly concerned about being on the front lines, but after doing this simple tapping meditation with Nick and Marie I noticed such a difference. I didn’t even realize how challenging it was for me to take a breathe until I stopped and really took a second to feel the struggle. I could breathe so deeply by the end. My partner is a nurse whos been on the front lines of this for weeks and I’ll definetly be sharing the free 6 month offer with him. Thank you so much!

Oh, Laska, we are SO delighted to hear tapping is supporting you during these times. Thank you and your partner for your service as essential workers on the front lines. We’re sending big virtual hugs and love, and we’re so grateful to have you in our world. ?

  51. That’s such a beautiful interview. I’ve been doing tapping since weeks now with my mother through the telephone cause she lives in a retirement home. It helps her to calm down and not be in that stressful situation all the time and I can’t tell you how much I benefit from it as well! It just gives me peace and a relaxed feeling within me.
I appreciate what you do Marie and team!
    Thank you! Myriam

  56. I believe that after every bad turn in life, you always have to get up looking forward with more force than when you fell

  57. Thanks for doing this interview. I have used tapping for a couple years, but there are times when I forget what a helpful tool it can be. This is a good time to be reminded, and this interview is one of my favorite treatments of it. Such a safe and simple thing that really can make a difference!

  58. Hello! The first time I heard about a similar technique from your video and at first I was very skeptical about it. But the pandemic had a big impact on me, I became very stressful and anxious. As webmd says: “But too much stress can make us sick. And it can bring on or worsen certain symptoms or diseases, research shows.” depression. And indeed, stress exacerbated my illnesses. And I decided to try different ways to deal with stress. I want to say that this 3-minute tapping technique really helps and soothes. I am distracted from problems, it relaxes. Thanks for sharing this!
