Marie Forleo: Morning. I don't know if you can hear that, but it's raining outside. I kind of like rainy days in the summer because then I don't feel pressure or torn about whether or not I should go to the beach. I'm going to keep writing or hanging out inside or doing my cleaning or whatever it is that I want to do. But feeling no guilt about missing the sunshine.
Marie Forleo: Doing a new workout today, one I've never done before. I looked at the preview, definitely intimidating, but no matter what it takes, I'm going to make it happen. Workout, hip hop edition. Let's do this.
Marie Forleo: All right. I just completed my challenge workout. Sweating my ass off. And I need water. Oh, oh, I got to cool down. Okay. I'm going to do my cool down.
Marie Forleo: Today, in fact, in less than seven minutes, I am meeting with UK publishers for my next book. So we're doing virtual meetings. We're doing conference calls and Google Chats. Now I just worked out. It's summer. I'm sweaty as all heck. Look at this hair. Super sweaty. The first one is a conference call, and I'm really hoping by the time the Google Chat comes up, I'm not going to look as sweaty. It's a little bit like dating. Like are they going to like me? What will they think of my book? And I'm excited to have these meetings and see who the UK publisher for my book is going to be.
Marie Forleo: This is how you do deals across the pond. This is Sandy, everyone, and us doing a Google Hangout, which both of us were like sending invites and going, like is this thing on, because, you know, technology. Anyway that's it. So I just got done with my first round of meetings with UK publishers and it went awesome. Everyone was so cool. I fell in love kind of easily. I really like people, and I like smart people. All of my meetings today were with really smart humans who were kind of nice and had their own flavors and visions for the book. So tomorrow more meetings, and then we'll see where we go from there.
Marie Forleo: On days when I have a headache and I need a break, TERRA Chips and hummus, and like a few minutes of CNN. I'm sorry. Look, you may not like CNN. You're going to have all these opinions about CNN. I kind of don't care. When I need just a minute or two to reset, TERRA Chips, hummus, big tall glass of water, catching up with the world actually gets me even more committed to stay positive and create good shit.
Marie Forleo: And some days it's time to give our dog a shower. You look so happy right now.
Speaker 2: Damn it, turn the camera off and get me a towel. What the hell is this.
Speaker 3: I'm taking us to Montauk tonight to go see my buddy Seth Herzog, now your buddy too, do some stand up at Ruschmeyer's. And he'll probably end up in his underwear at some point.
Speaker 3: Hi. This is my mustache.
Marie Forleo: I hate the mustache. I keep trying to get him to... He needs to get rid of the mustache.
Speaker 3: The mustache is really cool.
Marie Forleo: The mustache.
Speaker 3: It's a summer stache.
Marie Forleo: I don't like it.
Speaker 3: Okay, well, I didn't expect you.
Marie Forleo: It's so porny.
Speaker 3: Like you liked it when it had the other stuff, so I'll just let the other stuff grow back.
Marie Forleo: No, let it all grow back at once. It's not like Michelangelo's David. It's not like there was some masterpiece hidden in your beard and then you like removed the excess.
Speaker 3: That's exactly what it was.
Marie Forleo: It's horrible.
