During the beginning of B-School I started making sales online. It was the only income we had because our organic sales dropped off completely due to the pandemic. Then I went out on a limb and pivoted to a 1 for 1 program — 1 donated for every 1 sold. We finished April 2020 with sales numbers higher than 2018 and 2019.
I was able to keep all my employees working the whole quarantine, and since it was lifted we brought on more subcontractors to keep up with the volume. B-School helped me focus, think outside the box, and stay motivated.
