Marie Forleo introduction

Hi!

I'm Marie

You have gifts to share with the world and my job is to help you get them out there.

When Josh and I first got together, he’d often surprise me with jewelry for my birthday and Christmas. Nothing too crazy or extravagant. Just something small and lovely and sweet.

While I was deeply grateful, invariably we’d wind up returning whatever piece he chose so that I could get something that was more, well, me. (I don’t own a lot of stuff, so I gotta loooove it to keep it!)

Josh said, “How about this: why don’t we go shopping together and you can pick out exactly what you want?”

Smart man.

I walked us over to a beautiful little store near our home called Satya Jewelry. It’s the kind of place that you stop at every time you pass by because your eye always catches something heavenly in the window.

Satya means “truth” in Sanskrit. Their mission is to create pieces that are meaningful, inspiring and beautiful. Plus, they believe in giving back so with every purchase, you’re helping to improve the lives of women and children worldwide.

If you love what you do and your intention is pure, the universe will open every door. @satyajewelry Click To Tweet

I was captivated. This was the first fashion brand I’d seen that not only had gorgeous product, but that executed a for-profit, for purpose-business model in such a genuine and elegant way.

On one of my many visits to the store, I remember thinking to myself “Wow, I really love this. Wouldn’t it be cool if someday I had my own little Satya line of jewelry?”

A few years later, I was at a friend’s party and bumped into Satya herself. I was totally uncool and fangirled on about how much I loved her work and that it was the one brand of jewelry I keep going back to.

(Being nonchalant is not one of my strong suits.)

After chatting for a bit, one thing became clear. The reason I loved the jewelry so much had everything to do with the authentic soul who created it. Her generous and optimistic spirit spills forth into everything she touches.

Here on MarieTV, one request I often receive is for more stories of everyday people who decide to leave the safe path to follow their crazy, unconventional heart.

Wish granted. In today’s episode you’ll hear about Satya’s adventurous journey from being a disenchanted social worker to launching an enormously successful global jewelry brand from scratch.

I’m also deeply honored to announce our first ever capsule collection with Satya called #BeBlessed. I love having small totems around to ground me in my truth and inspire me towards my dreams, and I hope these lovely pieces can do the same for you.

I designed and named each piece with the Satya Team and could not be more proud. Details about the collection below.

  1. I love the way that it was an intense period of yoga that gave Satya the inspiration and courage to go right ahead and start a business. I’m terrible at procrastinating and it just goes to show that if you’re in the right head-space you don’t think – you just DO! “I can do this.” I should take on that mantra myself.

    • satya

      Hi Peggy,
We all have moments of procrastination. Yoga was what helped me become fearless. Find what works for you…..love Satya

  2. Satya jewelry is so simple & beautiful. & why am I blessed? I have such a great support system of friends & family! That’s why!

    • satya

Family and friends ROCK!!!! with love satya

  3. Lisa Briones

Beautiful Jewellery! I’m blessed not only because of my beautiful family but also that this year I have discovered my souls path & I am no longer afraid ?

  4. So excited about this episode, this is exactly what makes me feel blessed. Having people in the world who have paved the way for dreamers like me. The ability to get inspired by others and to have the wisdom to improve my life by being open to change. Thank you for always exposing us to such amazing stories.

    • Ana

Raymari, I also feel blessed “having people in the world who have paved the way for dreamers like me.” Since I often feel fearful and insecure, what makes me happier and more confident is to hear about other people’s stories of personal and professional success. That is how I found Marie, about 3 years ago, when I was feeling lost and nostalgic, having recently moved to New Jersey from Spain.

Last year I came to live in NYC to do a Masters in decorative arts, design history and material culture. It was tough to be back at university in my thirties, and in a foreign language, but I could not feel more blessed to follow my heart and do research in art history, a passion I had postponed for more than 10 years! This year, while I try to live in the present, enjoying and giving my best, I cannot help but think about my graduation approaching. While I feel I have matured and grown a lot by following this dream, I am still at lost about what to do next, knowing that the jobs in museums are so few and other cultural jobs might not be as creative or interesting.

Today I am blessed once again, Marie, team and Satya, with yet another perfectly timed and amazing interview that shows us the possibilities of dreaming big! Indeed, my husband, who believes in my creativity more than I do, has repeated for some weeks now that he will invest in my jewelry business. I have been focusing on gemstones in my research, so I love that your jewelry is designed to exploit the qualities of such incredible materials. I would also like to feel positively fearless and find the courage to create my own brand!

      • You are so inspiring yourself Ana! Go do your thing girl! I have a strong feeling that whatever you end up doing you are going to be not only blessed, but amazing at. God bless, and good luck!

Also, in regards to fear I highly recommend watching (if you haven’t done so already) the video from a couple weeks ago with Marie and Elizabeth Gilbert. Liz talks about how to deal with fear and it was genius! I have thought and applied her method and ideals about it so many times since I’ve watched it, it had a huge impact on me.

        Ok hope this helps.

        Best,
        Dean’a Delrose
        Xo

      • Hey Ana ~ I just want to say, THANK YOU, for posting such an honest and uplifting comment. You are definitely not alone with some of the personal struggles you’ve shared. The personal journey that you and Satya shared, not only comforted and inspired me, but has also helped to reaffirm in a way, my own journey to embrace my love of creating beautiful things.

Like you, I have also questioned my abilities and personal ‘truth’ in the past. I always knew that deep down I was a ‘maker’ (like you), but I often struggled with believing in myself and had a constant desire prove my worth to other people. This type of insecure behavior was so debilitating to me, and it took me a few years to sift through and ultimately let go of. There were times when I questioned my creative ability and whether or not I’d be able to fulfil my goals.

During this period of figuring out my place in the world, I thankfully never gave up on my love of designing and creating beautiful little works of art.
I began creating hair accessories and custom bridal headpieces.
Designing and constructing these pieces are tons of fun for me, but eventually I began feeling like I wasn’t reaching enough people in a more gratifying, productive way. For some, a hair accessory is considered a luxury item. I wanted to be able to reach beyond the ‘luxury’ aspect of it. Consequently, I began to explore ways in which I can use my creativity to help give back to others in need.

I feel hugely blessed to be given the strength and courage to have since developed a nonprofit organization benefitting kids with cancer and other life altering illnesses. My goal with this organization is to reach out to kids across the world, learning about their dreams, and gifting each child with a hand made crown of their choosing. I want to help each child to feel a sense of hope, love, and imagination. It is an incredible blessing to see that the dreams/goals I didn’t abandon are helping to create such joy and many, many smiles on these children’s faces.

May we all have the courage to ‘feel positively fearless’, and to live our dreams like Ana and Satya.

        • Emma

Wow. That is so awesome and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story Zera. Keep being you. X

      • satya

        Dear Ana,
I love your story. You are are fearless you have already done what most would never do. Don’t stop
        now…..love and blessings….Satya

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Thank you so very much for your kind shares, Raymari and Ana. We’re delighted to be able to bring guests like Satya on MarieTV, and share her incredible work and impact with you.

Thank YOU for being here with us.

  5. Irene

I feel blessed when I can make a difference to a child’s day in my job as a Teaching Assistant. I try to teach by embodying kindness and have used Marianne Williamson’s phrase silently in my head during lessons: “The love in me salutes the love in you.”
I also feel blessed to have a life to live; to have a husband and son whom I love and a home to call our own.
    Good wishes to everyone.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Such an incredibly beautiful phrase to use in your work!

  6. As a writer, what makes me feel blessed is when people tweet & share my quotes on various platforms. Writing is the essence of who I am, it is the way I express myself and communicate.

    • Mihad,

Your site is beautiful! As a fellow writer and creator I am happy to follow you and share your work! #BeBlessed #BeBrave #SayYes

  7. Jessie

I am blessed because I have a three year old that understands play time and work time. He allows be to make my dreams come true of being a stay at home mom + working mom with a purpose!

  8. Kim

Beautiful jewelry. Beautiful story. Beautiful souls, Satya and Marie.
I am so blessed to be surrounded by loving family and friends, to have good health, a job, and a roof over my head. Thanks for blessing my life with cool inspiration!

  9. Constance Watkins

I love the smooth and graceful lines of this jewelry collection.l I am truly blessed also. I have the love of close friends and beautiful animals.Everyday is a chance to say Thank You!!

  10. I am deeply inspired by the bold faith act that is revealed in the birth of Satya’s Jewelry. I would love to take this kind of action in stepping into my own personal destiny. I am looking forward to sharing this heartfelt message today & I am definitely empowered. Thank you! xo

  11. I am blessed with a family. I remind myself not to take them for granted. I had to move to Japan with the military to meet the love of my life. We had our first child in Japan. I wasn’t able to have a second child until I released the control and moved to England. One child is on the autistic spectrum. I never take typical development for granted. True blessings.

  12. Just beautiful and so inspiring! You are both amazing! Thank you!

  13. I am so blessed to have my husband. When I was 36 years old (I’m 38 now) I found out that the cancer I had when I was 28 spread, and is now a stage IV liver melanoma. He hasn’t just “stuck by my side,” he’s never made me feel like he would rather be anywhere else. Our life together looks pretty different than what I thought it was going to look like (no kids, etc), but the thing is, because of his sense of humor, support, and encouragement, it’s a beautiful, joy-infused life filled with travel, adventures, lots of family, friends and tons of love and laughs. How did I get so lucky? I feel truly blessed to have him as my partner in this crazy world.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Samantha, your honesty and reverence for the details that are your life brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing.

    • Sonia Tejeda

Hi Samantha, I would like to recommend you the book “Healed of Cancer” by Dodie Osteen, she was given just weeks to live and now she is a survivor for more than 30 years.

      • Thank you so much Sonia, I would love to get my hands on that! It is those stories of hope that help me fight each and every day, so I really appreciate you reaching out to me!

        • Samantha, I would also recommend Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Yourself, if you haven’t read it yet. Then, of course if you’re not already following Kris Karr (kriscarr.com) then I HAVE to recommend you do.

Meanwhile, I love your spirit and am inspired by your gratitude and joy!

          Stay well and happy 🙂

    • satya

      Dear Samantha,
I love your story and thank you for sharing. You inspire me!!!! Satya

  14. Maria

Well done for both of you. I’m blessed above all because I have two beautiful daughters that I admire and love unconditionally and a suportive great family that are always around for me. What else can I ask for?

    • “Sacred Blessings”
      I learn new lessons
each and every day, on this
      journey we call life.

I woke up this morning. I am blessed. I have my health and strength. I am blessed. I am connected to family and friends. I am blessed. I said my prayers for healing and redemption. I am blessed. I paid a few bills today. I am blessed. I took a walk today. I am blessed. I engaged in my craft of writing today. I am blessed. I learned something new today. I am blessed. I open my heart to love and forgiveness. I am blessed. I am blessed. I am blessed. I am blessed. I trust and pray you are blessed too. Asante Sana. Peace, Love & Blessings Always.

  15. Tonia

Each day I get to wake up and live my life. After healing from illness and leaving a wretched marriage, I cannot even begin to express what a blessing it is to just LIVE. Every single day. I don’t always get it ‘right’ but I learn something, I move forward, I grow, and I am so grateful.

  16. Janet K

I feel truly blessed because after going through some pretty horrific events 5 years ago the strength and love of my friends and family supporting me and nurturing me back to health has made me able to be not only happy again but independent and thriving once again. I have been able to work in a new career, and continue to heal through my new passion in yoga. A new man is also a part of my life that brings out my creative side that I had kept hidden for so long.

  17. I am so blessed to have an amazing business that has allowed me to stay home to raise my son with Aspergers – he just started high school and I know that the ability to stay home with him all of these years has really made a huge impact on his life and mine. It taught me more about patience, love, and to keep working hard no matter what. It has not only helped me raise an amazing teenage – I have a wonderful business too!

    • So wonderful!

    • satya

      Hi Jennie,
Thanks for sharing. One of my boys is on the spectrum and having my own business has allowed me to be a big part of his success. We are so blessed and so are our children….Satya

  18. Simply beautiful! I am blessed to be sitting here right now with my husband, fingernails and toes painted, coffee and fresh orange juice in hand, swinging in a hammock with light music, for some us time in a beautiful villa.

  19. Love the wonderful names you choose for each piece Marie. I’m blessed because, despite great losses in my life, I can still feel so much immense joy with my two boys. My ability to feel love continues to be undeterred, and that I have immeasurable grace.

  20. I feel blessed because last week, I followed my dream and opened an art studio where people can come and escape their sense of pressure for a while and focus instead on creating something wonderful.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

CONGRATS! I’m so glad you followed your dreams. I know everyone who experiences your studio will be so glad you did. 🙂

  21. Blessed because just an hour ago, over breakfast, my new husband and I were discussing the leap it would take for me to branch out and start teaching yoga workshops. I was saying that I reach my own potential so easily when I am doing yoga every day. He was saying that I have a personal yoga business manager in him. <3

My favorite piece of jewelry is a Satya necklace that was a gift several years ago, from a studio owner I used to teach for. She gave each of the teachers at her tiny jewel box yoga studio on the North Coast of California a Satya necklace for Christmas. Wearing it drops me back into my essential self. It's amazing.

  22. Maria

I’m blessed above all because I have two beautiful daughters that I admire and love unconditionally and a suportive great family that are always around for me. What else can I ask for?

  23. Lisa

I am a mother of 4 children. Rose, Elijah, Armstrong, and Lemar…yes REAL.
They are truly unique children and I am always amazed that God blessed me to have them.
Thank you for sharing your creations and I too must do the same.
My children are not mine to keep although I love them deeply.

    Respectfully Lisa

  24. Netanya

    This is beautiful.
I am blessed to have come to know that I am inherently of value. That, while my work in the world is important (as is everyone’s), that even if I could no longer have, do, or be certain things, that doesn’t mean I’m no longer of value. We are all of value from the beginning, and I am blessed to have been able to find that within myself and share with the world.

    • Shannon

This is so beautiful – and such a great reminder. Thank you for sharing this 🙂

    • Aniella

Wow, thank you for sharing this.

  25. Nduta

I feel blessed because I have stumbled upon this world of feel good, ask, feel good, you shall receive and feel good. It came at a time when I was totally unsure of what I am supposed to do but now I take more initiative and I can feel and see myself improve.

  26. Carola Rutkowski

Inspiration, when it comes knocking so loud and clear, that is what makes me feel blessed. It brings with it tears of joy and boundless passion. It makes me feel incredibly free and 100% purposeful. Then we dance, from the waltz to dirty dancing and everything in between. THIS feeling, this marriage of myself and inspiration wanting to be realized by me, actualized by me – that makes me feel so incredibly blessed and knowing I am right where I need to be, doing exactly what I need to be doing in order to bring love and happiness into the world.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so glad inspiration came knocking and that you answered the door! What an empowering feeling. 🙂

  27. My appreciation of my whole self and my growing confidence in who I am as a woman of middle age with heaps of rich life experiences and spunk for another whole half of life has clearly rubbed off on my ten year old daughter. She ran for student council and needed to make posters. We took a picture of her for the art work and when I printed one that was extra, she chose to put it over her bed. What are you going to do with that, I asked? She said, I am going to write I Love You on it in case I don’t win. She continues to be an inspiration to me to love myself, to trust myself, even with set backs. Your jewelry line is an example of how you, Marie, have come into your own from a fly girl with Jersey street smarts, to well, still a fly girl who has inspired millions of women to come out of the shell and take chances (and can I please have your hair?) Well wishes to all the women out there taking chances and making choices!

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Wow, your daughter! That’s a gorgeous story, and she definitely has my vote. XO

  28. Lacy

I love seeing women come together for a greater purpose. It is so inspiring. I like to think that I am blessed because I am here. Where I’m from not many live, let alone live to see their dreams come true. Each day I pray and ask for another day to get closer to fulfilling my life’s purpose. Each day that I am given breath is a blessing in my book.

  29. I was first given a Satya small Ganesha with a citrine jewel necklace years ago. I loved it then and now. Called to wear it out and for some clients when supporting them through a challenge. Anything from this company comes packaged with love and blessings and a energetic gift to open and receive… each piece magically perfect… my garnet bracelet (birthstone) loves me each time I put it on… like the baby id bracelets never could..
Thanks Marie for this story! You are the best! Love to you and your team! <3 KA

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Kathryne-Alexis, a beautiful example of the power of pieces with a positive intention behind them!

  30. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife, but she’s not the reason for the blessing, though she is part of it. Trusting in others (or yourself) to bless you can lead to being let down in the most spectacular ways.

No, I’m blessed that, despite being such a poor husband and father in my younger years, I have a God who’s a God of second chances. He restored the relationships with my 4 children, blessed me with an amazing wife (and a bonus daughter who now has a son – my first grandchild), and has changed me into a vastly different, and better, husband and father. Notwithstanding the wonderful people in my life, the change in ME is the greatest blessing of all.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      Beautiful share, Ian.

    • I praise our living God with you ????

  31. Years ago, when the real estate market crashed, I was layed-off and became a stay at home (occasional work from home) mom. I loved the opportunity to spend time with my babies as they were growing. My oldest was just starting kindergarten and I felt like it was perfect timing.

Over the years and as my kids have grown (my oldest is now 10) I became a little depressed about being a stay at home mom. It was never my goal or whom I wanted to be. I felt like I lost my identity a bit. I missed being the bread winner of our family. Contributing in that way felt amazing!

I’m finally realizing how blessed I am to be able to raise my kids by being so close and not having to rely on childcare. I have THE MOST IMPORTANT job by being the at home parent. AND I’ve come to learn just how many parents would give an arm and a leg to be in my situation. A shift in perspective changed everything and now my heart is filled with gratitude for my position.

We live very simply and I’ve considered going back to work full time so we could save more or have more extras but now I’m not sure the extras would be worth the time away from my girls.

    • satya

      Dear Wendy
Thanks for sharing this. I believe a lot of us struggle with this and being a mother is the most important job i have and i take it so seriously. We are molding and creating the future in our children.
      You are amazing mommy…….Satya

  32. Thank you so much for sharing your story! It encourages me to keep going with my social entrepreneurship project, called ‘Sexy Little Bag’ whereby I create bags made of no longer used bras. They are produced on the secondary labor market so i help people in nerd reintegrating to society and donate 10% of the yearly net income to social projects. We are blessed for what we have and that made me come up with this project to give back to society. i’d love to tell you more about it 🙂

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

What a fun, unique idea! Love it!

  33. I am blessed because three years ago I should have died. I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia out of nowhere and had weeks to live without the right treatment. It was looking fairly bleak for me. I wondered who would raise my children and what my husband would do when I was gone. I wondered if he would remarry. I wondered if my infant daughter would even remember me, and then realized with heartbreak that she likely wouldn’t. As much as I was determined to live, I still wrote letters to my children so they would know how much I loved them, in case I didn’t make it. But then…the medical team found an exact bone marrow match in the global registry, and an anonymous donor (I still don’t know who he is, but clearly he has a heart of gold) agreed to donate his bone marrow so that I could live. He didn’t know me, but he gave me my entire life back. He put a family back together. He changed my life because now instead of a stressed out PhD student (what I was doing when diagnosed), I am now a therapeutic yoga teacher helping others recover from life explosions like cancer and PTSD and mental illness. I got a second chance to live and help others do the same. And that is why I am so very blessed. 🙂

    • Ursula

So touched by your story – thank you for sharing.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Rachel, thank you so much for sharing this here. What an incredibly moving and humbling “Be Blessed” story. It warms my heart to think of your family, and the way things have unfolded in your lives. So happy to have you here.

      • angie

Rachel I am so glad for you that you got a second chance…and grateful for your donor…I hope you spend all of your days living up to that second chance!!!!
I am blessed to have raised 2 very independent children/young adults, who are both filled with more confidence than I ever had…in a world overflowing with opportunity….and lucky to have raised them with my best friend whom I’ve known since childhood-, and been married to for 25 years- I never take any of them for granted, and only hope they reach for their limits and beyond knowing they have a strong family and friend support system….to the Marie Forleo team, thanks so much love watching the videos, and even if I never start a business, have learned some very important things from you and your guests,,, thank you

        • Rachel, your story is so real and raw and beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I too am a cancer survivor. I had my battle at 23, and now 15 years later as the mom of two amazing beings I can’t imagine how scary it would be to go through it as a mother! So grateful for your fresh start. And the beautiful generosity of strangers 🙂

    • satya

Wow Rachel I have tears in my eyes. You are blessed and the angel that gave you life God bless him. Thank you…..you inspire me….with love Satya

  34. I’m blessed because no matter what has been chucked at me in life I have been able always to find a way to come home to Light and walking the authentic path. This make me blessed because I realise it’s possible to work with passion, love with friendship, connect through silliness, champion with heart, and most of all, find a new way to sing truth into the world in this challenging time of change. 🙂

  35. Rebecca Robles

I’m blessed just because of the daily opportunity of another day of pure living my fullest capacity to love, to be loved, to care, to be cared, and simply to live, and help other to understand their purpose in life, which is simply the art of Living! I am blessed because I live each day with passion, purpose and love! I’m blessed with the beauty of meditation, the ability to reflect on my own actions, which is the key to make every day even a better living experience. I’m a daughter of God! Can’t be happier to be part of this life journey, which starts and ends with love! Good luck Marie on this new journey, and be always blessed!

  36. Satya has such a positive, powerful vibe! I really enjoyed watching this episode. And the “I can do this” – mantra is definitely a good one. And Marie, I love watching your videos. 🙂

  37. Kati

I feel blessed every single day for many reasons… I have perfect health and live a life full of love. But the biggest of all the blessings…is that I have the choice to guide my life,, the way I want to be.
I bumped into your videos and blog after seeing you interviewing Elizabeth Gilbert (now reading her book!) and totally loved your speech and energy.
Its good to know that there is still people doing their job with heart instead of just trying to squeeze money from this planet 🙂
I will lie if I say that I am not interested on the gift, but thanks to this opportunity I had the chance to write something it has been always in my mind. I am glad the day…I randomly found you on you tube! 😉 Thanks and Congratulations for your work!

  38. What makes me feel blessed is my health and courage to embody feminine strength everyday. I feel blessed to have risen above the violence that I endured in my childhood and to not see myself as a survivor, but as a role model for women to say – You can change your life, your life is in your hands, no matter what. Not to blame the outside conditions and to stand strong with the power of the heart. Sometimes life gives you lemons and you have to learn to make a lemonade! I also feel blessed for the friends who are in my life for many years, they are my sugar that makes my life sweet.

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Aleksandra, thank you so much for sharing this with us. Your positive outlook is truly inspiring!

  39. I don’t just feel blessed – I am blessed! I have incredible mentors – like you, Marie – who model ways to use our talents for a greater good, to see that we can do more than we believe we can and that we are all connected in some pretty profound ways. This keeps inspiring me to give back (including to give before I launched my business and website rather than waiting till I made my first million … a month or so from now, right?), to see where service can be given more deeply no matter how tough things are (my job just cut my pay nearly 50% for the second time … so now I can with a clear conscious do what I have been longing to do) and to share freely with others rather than compete. With people like you reminding us we can be more and do more, it is a blessing each and every day.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      Thank you so much, Karin.

  40. Lisa

It’s very, very simple. I am blessed to spend my time on earth with the people I love: my wonderful husband, my two small children who continually amaze me every day, my mom who gives and gives until I think she can give no more, my sweet sister and her husband, my mother-in-law (yep, she’s outstanding too!), and more true, unique, and beautiful friends than I can count. Family and friends are what it’s all about. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful, thank you for the chance to win.

  41. Allison Tsui

Thank you so much for Satya’s & Marie’s sharing. It’s really inspiring and let me have courage to do something that I really want. We should always say that “I can do it!”, instead of running away from our callings. We could be more powerful only if we believe in ourselves. 🙂

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

So true! The only thing scarier than not running away from our calling is to run away from it. Following your dreams can be scary, but at least we won’t have to wonder what might have been.

  42. Carmen

I’m blessed because I have the chance to live this wonderful times, because I’m a human and I got the chance to see, to live all the wonders of this world.
This is a great opportunity that we all have every day, every moment and I’m grateful for it.

  43. Greatest reminder to always stay true to yourself! I’ve always loved Satya jewelry and I had no idea how great the woman behind it really was. Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing!!!

  44. Jane

So glad I saw this, I can personally relate to the process of knowing you have something meaningful to share and finding the means to move forward with the dream. I am so blessed that this interview helped me to realize I am getting tied up in making the lists. And I LOVE the pieces you designed and the messages behind them. Will share them with all my friends and family. Thank you for sharing this.

  45. Beautiful, inspiring jewelry. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful family, which includes our wonderful fur-babies!

  46. Michele Somer

I’m sitting here in my apartment, with my new glasses on, organic food in the fridge and protected from the chilly, rainy weather outside. I can walk outside if I want to and I will be safe. Not only will I not be attacked for being a woman, but I can walk down the street and get a fresh croissant and baguette in less than 10 minutes. I am fortunate to be living here in France, with all the basic necessities and a hubby who loves me, and whom tells me so many times. It has been very difficult at times to learn how to live in a new country and find my place. I see now how I have evolved and used the tough lessons to grow and develop into the person that I am now. I am grateful to be using the challenges of life to strengthen my -once low- self-esteem instead of giving up to victim-hood. Being the example of what I want this world to look like is what I strive for. I am ever appreciative for the love and safety that surrounds me that helps to keep me going and stay true to myself. Regardless of the put-me-downs, that inner glow will continue to shine out.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful blessings in your life. It sounds like you’ve come so far in your journey!

  47. You have to understand & feel how you are blessed (sometimes it takes quite a long time) & why you are blessed. We all are blessed, but we don’t really realize it. It strikes you when you come to know that “Oh it happened to me, but not to her!”

I found a lovely Husband who taught me how to Live your dreams & walk on your own path. I chose to become an Entrepreneur, and look how blessed i am to found this wonderful blog! (Coincidence or being blessed that i also design jewellery.. Paper jewellery precisely).

And being an Indian, i am very much familiar with Sanskrit & Satya! My warm wishes to everyone!

  48. Sharm

I am going through a trying period in my life in terms of the direction my own business is taking. Needless to say my confidence has taken a beating and to hear Satya say ” I can do this” feels like a message through to my heart. I too can do this. Thanks Marie & Satya. Inspiring, as always.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      You can do this. 🙂

      • satya

yes you can!!!! with love Satya

  49. Janelle

I love the jewelry!! I makes me feel blessed is my beautiful daughters. I have 4 and they make me so happy. After a long day, I just want to be with them. They are everything to me.

  50. angelica fernandez

Very beautiful jewelry. I am blessed because every morning I can get up and start a new day and whatever happens, the universe will provide me with the tools, the patients, and inspiration I need to take care of myself and my family.

  51. I am blessed to have a healthy body and mind, positive spirit and tonnes of energy to keep pepping and helping people around me when they have a bad day or a tough month, ill health etc. I am blessed to be surrounded by my beautiful family and dear, dear friends, exciting business associates and networking partners I can share ideas with and get inspiration from. I want to win this jewellery so that I can wear one of them to remind of this strength and drive to help people and then give two of them away to two of my friends who could do with the same sort of reminder of how brave and gorgeous they are inside and out!

Thanks again, Marie, for a fab newsletter and great clips to inspire and boost us all 🙂

  52. Sha

What makes me feel blessed is having found your channel, Marie. You and your guests truly inspire me to take action, and with each day I’m closer to having the freedom I desire to spend more time with my children and husband, to travel more, and to make a difference in the world somehow, someway. You collaboration with Satya is gorgeous! I wish everyone and myself good luck! Thanks for the opportunity Marie!

  53. On my 60th birthday, I announced to friends and family that I was starting a new business – as a vocal talent. I have a Goddess-given gift of a lovely voice. I have 30+ years experience in running businesses. It was time to work from home. In the past 13 months, I have narrated 14 books and am working on the 15th. I started narrating nonfiction, thinking that because I am not an actress, I could not record fiction. Instead, the last book I narrated was fiction as is the one I am working on now. I decided that if/when the universe was offering me good work, I would say “yes.” It has been an incredible learning curve as I also produce the audiobooks. I continue to learn about sound editing. I am so blessed to be at a point in my life that I can work from home at work that I love to do. I have a fabulous network of amazing women and a stellar, supportive husband. Marie, you are a part of my network as I listen to Marie TV with regularity and pass your lessons on to my friends and colleagues. Thank you! I practice gratitude daily.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

How wonderful, Clare! I’m so happy you’re doing what you love—it’s never too late to follow your dreams. 🙂

  54. Good luck with the new venture, you both deserve such great success, sending you positive energy!

  55. Strange coincidence. Today is my birthday and I just wrote a blog post about gifts and how they might relate to our “love language”. Great video. Thanks!

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      Happy, happy birthday!!!

  56. Erica

I feel blessed for many reasons. Most importantly, I am so grateful for the freedom and opportunities I have each day to live my life in a true and authentic way. I feel grateful that I have the liberty to choose a path, filled with love and purpose, – to live in a country that supports autonomy and community. Beyond that, I am blessed with good health, a supportive family and friends, a loving boyfriend, positive FEMALE role models and to be surrounded by the inspiration that flows just by living in New York City. Love what you are doing Satya and Marie!

  57. I feel blessed because at a time in my life where I was about as low as I could get, I found people with open hearts and honest voices to surround me. They reached out to help me up, raised my spirit and reconnected me to my soul. They supported me through painful lessons and self examination and celebrated with me as I came through the journey stronger, more enlightened and with a renewed sense of purpose. I would not be living my current blessed life if it wasn’t for these amazing, generous beings who helped me face my fears, forgive my mistakes and start to live my dreams.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so happy you have wonderful people in your life who love you and care about you. That’s a true blessing!

  58. This line is such a reflection of beauty within because of its spirit shining through every unique piece which will bring peace to all women who wear it and #MEN who meet them #beblessed #fighthumantrafficking #heartcry

  59. What makes me FEEL blessed- and bear with me for a moment- is the sun. It’s unbelievable power and warmth make me pause several times a day to close my eyes and reflect. When you sit in the sun and close your eyes, your mind focuses on what else makes me feel that way (aka “why you are blessed”)- for me, it is my family, my friends, and my photography career. Ironically, perhaps, my photography is also about finding/chasing the sunlight, but regardless of how I interact with the light, it always leads back to the same things: family. friends. love… and memories.

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Beautiful, Karissa! I feel this way about the sun, too 🙂

  60. Belva Davis spoke truth, “Don’t be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so.” My truth has always been to decide what you want to give, then the universe will flawlessly supply the how!

I’ve been a Satya fan, both the jewelry and the business model, but especially the precious soul behind the brand. Thank you so much Satya and Marie!

  61. I feel blessed to have SO much support which gave me the courage to leave with my 2 sons, a domestic violence situation. Leaving with the bare basics and after 7 months, be on a journey of re-establishment towards the life we deserve. While married, I wore only 2 pieces of jewelry, small hoop earrings and my wedding ring. In these 7 months of leaving that toxic environment, I haven’t been able to comfortably wear ANY jewelry. I love what Satya & Marie said about jewelry being little reminders to get us through things and finding the pieces that have meaning & intentions. These pieces are going on “My Dream Board”. <3 Thank you Marie for sharing your inspiring messages to the world!! XO, Amanda

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Amanda, what incredible courage you have in you to have been able to lead you and your boys out of there. Maybe your piece for your dream board will be called “Courage.” Thank you so much for sharing.

  62. Denice

What makes me feel blessed?? Grasping the truth that I come from original blessing and not original sin — as we all do! This jewelry is exquisite, with the gift of – every time we wear it, or someone compliments it, or we touch and admire its beauty, we remember to remember our blessedness. Thank you!!!

  63. While military spouse life is so incrediable hard on career and spirit, I am so grateful for the military family I’ve built from military life. People I would have never know otherwise have been my everything, sharing in ever triumph, heartache, medical emergency, and silly wine date. Even as we move away, I am still so blessed to have my mil-spouse bestie. I love her endlessly! Special bonds like these are the beautiful diamonds hidden among the rough life, and I’m blessed have been able to uncover them!

  64. Heidi Baxter

As a “disenchanted social worker” myself I’ve struggled with the desire to help others ( and, in doing so, live a modest, simple life) and my need to be surrounded by beautiful things and see the world. Satya’s experience made me realize it IS possible to marry the two desires – to achieve success and abundance ( without guilt ) while giving back with compassion. Thank you for this wonderful profile and all the best in the launch of your new line!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

So awesome, Heidi! I’m glad this week’s episode spoke to you so personally. 🙂

  65. Satya’s jewelry is gorgeous – especially that Share Your Gifts piece! The title of that piece is so important to my story of why I am blessed to be me. I’ve worked countless hours for years upon years to build my business. I’ve made every mistake in the book! Seriously. Okay, not every mistake. But it has taken forever and I have wanted to give up so many times. But something keeps me moving forward – sometimes I don’t even know why. I haven’t had an easy road in business, but today I stand stronger than I ever have been with not one but two strong, thriving businesses. I’ve never felt more myself. More in control. More abundant. More capable of changing lives. I am blessed to be living this twisty road of MY life (road kill, speed bumps and traffic circles included) and to be able to fully express me.

  66. I am blessed for my supportive mother and grandmother (who is 91 years of age!). No matter what I do they have always been there with me every step of the way and so unbelievably grateful to have them in my life. It’s short but full of meaning <3

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Very full of meaning!! Cheers to your grandmother and what I imagine is one incredible life 🙂

  67. What resonated with me most from this video was the fact that “it takes a village.” The more I’m learning and growing, the more I’m realizing how important it is to have those people that are always there to support you, stretch you, and just love. I’m so incredibly grateful for those people in my life. I would never have gotten to where I am today had it not been for each and everyone of them. Thank you Satya and thank you Marie and all of those people in both of your villages for bringing this message out today! 🙂

  68. LOL I relate to the “fangirl”. When I met Suzy Toronto at a local Fun Walk to raise money for Ovarian Cancer research, I gushed like silly. I have admired her work for so long and was totally caught off guard to see her standing next to me. I imagined that when we met, I knew we would one day, it would be a deep soul connection…. instead I was shaking and ecstatic… total goof ball, but a sincere one!

  69. nicole benigno

I feel blessed to finally understand that retelling sad stories about the past. Will not change it; it takes time to learn the lessons. Embracing the future with an open heart, makes me regain my power. Not to sound as though I am kissing up, but I am truly blessed by your work and the work of Brian Johnson on youtube.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Yes! I love how you said “embracing the future with an open heart.” That’s our hope for everyone here, regardless of what they’ve been through in the past or are going through currently. 🙂

  70. I am blessed because the Universe pushes me out of my comfort zone daily into my greatest self! It’s not always easy, but I’ve been entrusted with the task of pushing others out of their comfort zone’s as well, through my business! (I inspire filmmakers to get their stories out there, and to DO MORE!) Moral of the story?…we got a whole ‘lotta discomfort up in here and it feels FANTASTIC! #MakingADifference! #SharingOurStories! #ThankYouMarieForleo! #YouHadMeAtHello!

  71. Ree Varcoe

After living for 13 years in New Zealand with my boys and kiwi husband, I found a special school in Denver for my youngest boy to nurture his quirky self and become the fine man I know he can be. My eldest son was never sure of himself and I could see the many opportunities here he could take up to discover he can do anything he sets his mind to. So I quit a job I loved at a beautiful foundation in Hamilton, NZ, went against the recommendations and protestations of my friends, my husband and his family (who definitely didn’t want us to leave), and moved us back to the US in time to start the school year. We are living with special, longtime friends until I find a job that will give me a chance to serve others, sharing all my marketing talents.

My husband is staying in NZ until I find work, and until then I am trying to make the most of every day, being a backstop for my children and trying to remain positive. I can see the bounty of blessings in their brief moments. My family has their health, we have shelter when so many in the world do not, and we have hope. That is the greatest blessing of all.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

It’s wonderful to hear that you’ve identified some great opportunities for your kids, though I’m sorry to hear you had to leave your husband in New Zealand. I know having your family apart is a hard thing to experience, so we’re sending lots of love your way.

  72. I am grateful for many things. I am grateful for making the decision to live a life I love. Magic takes guts and I’m in the process of discovering who I am and what my purpose is in this world. Little trinkets help me climb towards my path and I’m ready to soar!

  73. Kelly

I feel blessed by hearing the wisdom and encouragement of the world shakers out there who empower people to change their mindset and live their purpose, and this jewelry line encapsulates that. It’s amazing how the universe unfolds just as it should. I recently was at a rock bottom – a big move, quit a career in which I was not happy, from a broken family and nothing seemed to be going right. I meditated, grounded myself, and let go of the need for control (not an easy task, and still a work in progress). It didn’t happen overnight, but soon the waves calmed and things got better. Sometimes it takes a tweet or a post or a quote or a podcast to keep me on track but the messages I now hear loud and clear. Thanks to all who share their heart and much love to those in a tough spot. Breathe, smile, and be patient.

  74. Jessica H

Absolutely stunning pieces! I think each of us are blessed in so many more ways than we often realize. Each night, my little man and I talk about all of our blessings, from clean water in our faucets to food in our tummies–seemingly simple things we take for granted, but that could be a scarcity to others. A warm bed and goodnight kisses are definitely blessings, too. Then there are the big, life-changing blessings I have been experiencing lately as I approach a new decade: finally starting to figure out who I am and what I need to live an authentic life–and then having the courage to DO it. Working through all the emotions of everyday life and leaning into them–owning them–the good the bad and the ugly, working to create deeper connections and relationships with the important people in my life and breaking down the walls around my heart to freely give and receive love. It ain’t always easy–most times, it’s easier said than done, but it’s all about the baby steps!! We’re all constantly evolving and there’s always room for growth, right?!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

It’s great that you’re teaching your son gratitude at such an early age! I’m also glad to hear that you’re experiencing some big, life-changing blessings.

  75. Love the new line – gorgeous, Marie! What makes me feel blessed? An amazing support system of friends and family. We’ve had a lot of big changes this year and although there have been times I’ve wanted to break down in tears and throw in the towel, I’ve kept it together with their help. My mom was on a plane to Alaska within 24 hours earlier this year when I needed her help cleaning and staging our house to sell at the last minute (and it sold within 2 days on the market – truly blessed!!).

Then, I flew to our next city with two kids and a dog without my husband so that the kids could start school on time. The plan was to move in to our new house and get settled within a couple of weeks – except things don’t always go as planned and we’re still waiting to close on it. What’s made it bearable? Great friends! They’ve let me and the kids stay at their house with no complaints for 7 weeks and counting. And although I’m tired of living out of a suitcase, wish I had all of my shoes, and miss having an office to work out of – I still feel blessed.

I wake up each day and make a choice to be happy. I could spend my days being stressed and worried about how this is going to all work out but I don’t. Instead, I choose to live for today and be happy because I *am* blessed beyond words.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Good friends like that are keepers for life! We’re sending lots of love your way as you work to get settled in your new home.

  76. Lori Anne

These pieces are beautiful in their purity and quiet confidence in their underlying message reminding us what some of the important “internal reference fence” posts should be.

I am blessed on so many levels. I am blessed by being surrounded by a family that loves me and celebrates all aspects of my personality from the crazy creative person who created in the middle of the night to the deeply thoughtful and kindhearted that tears up when I’m touched.

I am blessed to have a professional life where I am fully engaged and provided with the opportunity to truly contribute to the full scope and scale of my gifts.

I am blessed that I have the confidence and the vunerability to live a creative life – all the wild ideas, all the doubt, all the slanted ways to see the world – I embrace and celebrate my muse… she rocks.

And finally – I am blessed by my roots – the incredibly strong women in my family – they have both paved the way and created the tenacious groves by which I live my life … I am determined, focused and stubbronly optimistic – I see the gifts – even in the grittiest situations – and for that I am grateful. It is a gift and blessing I will certainly pass on to my children.

  77. Teresa

I enjoy reading about companies that give back to women worldwide. The pieces are beautiful and I also only like receiving pieces that are meaningful to me or inspiring. Thanks for shareing. PS. i love your videos. Keep up the great work of motivating others.

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Thank you so much, Teresa. That means the world to us!

  78. Jana

Asking for help is a challenge for me. It was so freeing to hear that not only is it okay and necessary to ask for help, but it’s more fun! I never thought of it that way. I never thought about how being part of a team is not only helpful to me but fun for all of us. That message gave me the permission I needed to reach out for help in building my dreams. I love the jewelry! I loved this episode!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

This is such a great insight, Jana! I know it’s hard to ask for help because we always think we’re going to be inconveniencing whoever we ask, but the reality is that they might really enjoy working with us! 🙂 Love it.

  79. My heart truly connected with Satya, and her work. For me, the part that resonated most powerfully was her story of the family who came into her store, looking for a piece they all could wear as one of them went through breast cancer. I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and my daughter and I have decided to look for a piece of jewelry to wear together symbolizing this experience and our deep connection to each other. Both me and my daughter have realized the power in wearing symbols to remind us of our intention, strength and need for courage in the face of fear and uncertainty. This can make a huge difference. Sharing all of life experiences, the good the bad and the ugly with my daughter provides a deeply blessed life and relationship with each other!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so glad Satya’s story resonated with you. We’re sending healing wishes your way and wishes for strength your daughter’s way. You’re in our thoughts during this challenging time. <3

  80. Christine Karall

I feel deeply blessed because I have the best man in the whole world. He’s my best friend, my lover and my business partner. I owe him so much! Without him and his love, his patience and encouragement I wouldn’t be able to build my business as a life coach and meditation teacher for adults and children. It’s like Satya said: “We’re not here to do things alone, it’s not fun.” Thank you for this great episode, I loved it and had tears in my eyes! Satnam.

  81. I am so blessed to be a part of your community Marie.
Without fail you bring inspiring and uplifting content that “light’s a fire” under my booty and gets me moving toward what I want to create in the world.
This interview has inspired me to start baking giving back into my business.

I’m #blessed to be studying Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and have the opportunity to help people on their healing journeys. I plan to work with Acupuncturists Without Borders as soon as I get my license.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Thank you, Eleanor, for your beautiful share. We love having you in our community.

  82. I feel so blessed that I’ve recently become brave and fearless enough to make a big change in my life by moving to Asheville, NC and leaving the corporate world for good. I now am building up my real estate business here and am discovering ways to give back to the community that makes Asheville so magical and special. This story has opened my mind to how I can do this by supporting the artistic and small business community with each and every real estate client I am fortunate enough to help. Thank you Marie and Satya 😉

    • satya

      Dear Tonia,
i hear the fearlessness in your comment. the universe will be there to support you. Blessings…Satya

  83. Sarah

Everyday I feel blessed because I am alive. I am breathing and I am healthy. 3 years ago I ended up with severe preeclampsia (pregnancy complication) . This turned into HELLP syndrome and my organs began to shut down and I had to have my baby boy early because it was the only way my body would begin to heal. While my body was failing on me, I was still able to have my beautiful son. He was so small, but so strong. And my rough journey of healing began, but came with high anxiety due to what happened with my body. Through remembering that I was blessed with a healthy child and the support from my husband, I have overcome the fear and anxiety I experienced for so long. My strength came from God and I have realized through the scary experience of having my child, I am SO blessed. There are so many women who have complications during pregnancy that don’t end well. It makes my heart so sad. But, I have been given the opportunity to provide a deep love for my child and come through the experience a stronger woman, mother and wife. I am thankful everyday that I wake up and have another day to show love. I AM BLESSED! Thank you Marie for all your encouraging words and providing so many women with wisdom! Satya you are such an inspiration!

  84. We are all blessed because we have an inalienable gift of being able to chart our course in every way every day. We can choose what to think about, what to allow to upset us or inspire us, and what purpose we choose to guide our actions and life’s direction. This is neither given to you or able to be taken away from you. This is the emotional home of our choosing from which everything we have and are emanates from. And it will totally surrender to your will and control. This is the greatest of all gifts, the origin of every blessing and free for the taking.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

This is such great wisdom, Claudine. Thank you for sharing your wise words with us. 🙂

  85. Hi Marie and Satya,
thank you for bright shinning souls. In this Video my heart opens even more and I decide to create something in my, at this time tiny buisiness, that I`m able to donate for a meaningful Project like yours. Namastè

  86. Take away = I CAN do this and will need the help of a village of like-minded thinkers. Thank you so very much for this wonderful interview. Inspiration at its best!

  87. I am blessed because I have the greatest husband in the world…we have been married 28 years in October and I love him more today than ever before. My love for him grows and grows. We have not had the easiest of lives, although when we were in our 30’s we run a very successfull vintage clothing shop…but had to close it due to my Hubby having a heart attack! You see he suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome meaning his bones and skin is very hypermobile leading to so many complications…anyways as for today, he is now in a wheelchair and we are trapped in a two bedroom house where he is sleeping in the dining room…it is the pits! but we have each other and we try to make the best of things…we need better facilities because it is like living in a prison…but we have laughter…we talk…we cuddle…we love each other more and more…sometimes you just have to be thankful for what you DO have…and I have my lovely husband Freddy…Thank the Lord xxx

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

This is such a sweet story and it brought a tear to my eye! It’s clear you love Freddy so much and that his declining health is really painful to bear. We’re sending lots of love and healing your way. <3

  88. There’s something to be said about be able to ‘see’ a conversation on Marie TV, versus just listening to it. I love the passion oozing from Satya’s face as she speaks about her business. My biggest takeaway was that Satya followed her dream (literally) without holding back. She followed her heart and stayed TRUE to her belief. In doing so, she kept the vision of helping children as part of each piece of her jewelry. That energy comes through in each of her beautiful pieces of work. When your pursuit becomes something more than financial success, I believe the Universe is there to clear the path to even more potential in whatever business you are pursuing.

I am blessed each day, as I wake up and give gratitude for the loved ones that surround me as well as my health. I am so blessed to have had the courage to follow my dream to pursue a career as a yoga instructor and holistic health coach. I am grateful to be able to make a difference in lives of others as I help enlighten and empower them to take hold of their own potential to reach for their goals and dreams.

Thank you, Marie, for all that you do! You are an inspiration to us all!

  89. I am grateful for all the obstacles i’ve had faced in my life; because if not for these, i would never have known how blessed i am with the good people in my life who helped me overcome the pain. I am also grateful to always be able to learn new things about myself through these trials; being blessed is a perspective that can only come once I accept that I have a right to always be in a better place no matter how bad a situation may be. Thank you, Marie, for always being the one voice I can trust and go to. Namaste.

  90. I feel blessed to have found my calling, to have the confidence and courage to follow my heart’s truth, even when it’s hard (which as a fairly new solo-entrepreneur I’m feeling right now!). I feel blessed to have so much love in my life, for my amazing friends and community, my 2 gorgeous cats and for my health and body. I always have enough:-)
    Inspiring story, thanks.
    Hils x

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I love that you included your cats among your blessings. Sometimes we overlook the positive contributions pets make to our lives, but they really are a blessing! I have a cat too and I don’t know what I’d do without her. 🙂

  91. Manuel Castro Landero

    Hi Marie!!!

I feel blessed because everything that is around me in this moment of my life.

I have such a supportive family, a lovely and beautiful man by my side and (I hope not so long from now) my own business that will help me to reach my dreams.

I am one of those people who thinks that to feel blessed you have give the exact amount of blessings and love that you expect to receive, and that’s what I’m trying to do right now.

You never give enough love to the world, and somehow the universe conspire to give you back the same and sometimes more than that you gave.

Keeping that in mind, you can feel blessed more for what you give than what you get.

I really love your videos, they keep me inspiring to be better as a person, as a brother, as a child, as a lover and every aspect of my life.

Thank you so much for everything Marie. Greetings from Yucatán, México.

  92. Deb Schmid

Such a lovely story. What a beautiful collection.

  93. I love the simplicity in the jewelry and the overall message #beblessed. I finally started my blog this week and my tag line is Blessed with Less as I focus on simplicity and minimalism so I totally understand why Marie must love her items to keep them – I do too!! I feel blessed that I feel in sync the universe as Marie’s line came out #be blessed, my blog’s theme resonates with this and my personal life too – I’m a new Mom getting to know my new bundle of joy and feeling blessed by life’s little moments 🙂 Congrats Marie on your new venture!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Congrats on launching your blog! And what a fantastic title. Love it!

  94. Sharon

I loved that it was Satya’s father who always told her, “You can do it!” My father was also the compassionate, supportive leader who gave me the courage and inspiration to push forward. He passed away 10 years ago and I still miss him every day. I was blessed to have him in my life and I am still blessed to have his memory and his words of wisdom guiding me today. #BeBlessed

    • satya

      Hi Sharon,
My Dad passed 2 years ago and every day he is with me. He inspired me then and always will. For the love of our fathers…Satya

  95. I am blessed because everything that Satya’s collection represents is already inside me. My heart radiates these blessings, amplifies them and shares them with everyone I encounter. Thank you for the opportunity to win three beautiful conversation pieces to help spread the word! Light and love to all. Your pal, Erin

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

YES! I love this! And you’re so right—meaningful pieces don’t give you strength, they remind you of what you already have within. 🙂

  96. I have been meaning to start teaching meditation at a boys and girls club I
Used to volunteer … This was my confirmation.
    Thank you!
    V

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Super! I know the kids at the boys and girls club will be so glad to have you share your gifts with them. 🙂

  97. Victoria

What a beautiful heartwarming story of the power of intent snd life’s endless capabilities. And to be able to give back-amazing!!I It truly speaks to me as does her beautiful meaningful jewelry designs!

    I begin yoga tonight-watch out world-here I come!!
    Thank you for this!!

  98. The last three months of my life/business has been about trusting that the “risk” or insight is right and will work out!

I totally get what Satya was saying… “if we wait for all the checks on our list and all things to be perfect we’ll never get there”

Certainly I’ve taken risks that hurt, but I’ve recovered…. I’m trusting my internal voice again and combining it will B School wisdom… I’m on my game again! I especially feel it today!

Just back from a national conference where my work truly stood out!
Proud to have made this evolution…

Still working from my truth and business focused too
    thanks y’all
    Mitzi

  99. My heart radiates infinite gratitude for the blessings in my life. The beautiful souls, the love, the positive perceptions, the synchronistic experiences, the health and well-being, the creativity, the uplifting connections, the peace, the prosperity, the joy, the laughter, and even the lessons. My soul has aligned these lessons in order to bring me an experience of greater truth, expanded joy, increased health and so much more. How can I not be grateful for the blessings of my life’s lessons? I will admit, I haven’t always perceived my blessings as such, however as I focus on the good, the beauty and the Spirit in all that surrounds me…this brings me to a place of inner peace with a deep appreciation for it all. This one shift in perception toward gratitude has opened up a world of infinite blessings in my life. I am so grateful. XOXO

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

YES! This really is the key to infinite blessings. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom with us. 🙂

  100. All of these pieces are SO beautiful and timeless. Definitely jewelry to be shared with those you love. As a newly single-mom, going through a divorce that she didn’t want, whose life feels like it’s falling apart on an almost daily basis, I have learned to look to the tiniest things in my life to find my blessings. My biggest blessing is, of course, my amazing son, but I’ve also learned to see how blessed I am in the little things….my super short commute to work, a job that values work/life balance, family that is happy to chip in and help with this life change, my son’s school that inspires him to learn and be an amazing human being in this world, the folks at my local Dunkin’ Donuts that know when I’m coming to the drive thru window, just by my order. Despite everything, I am BLESSED beyond measure and find joy in being able to spread the blessings around.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Oh wow. I’m so glad you have people who love and care about you to support you during this challenging time. We’re sending lots of love and healing wishes your way.

  101. Love this on so many levels. We have lots in common with Satya. We both love yoga and she helped out my hometown of the Bronx. Great video!

  102. What makes me feel blessed is my husband always making sure that I have enough to eat at home and stocking the fridge and pantry in advance when he’s away on business trips.

    • So nice. What a sweetie. Happy for you 🙂

  103. Jennifer C

This was such a great video! Marie, you and Satya are such beautiful souls. I feel blessed to have discovered MarieTV, your videos always speak to me and a transition or thought I may be experiencing. I am blessed to have a sense of curiousity, paired with creativity and deep trust in my intuition. Thank you for continuing to share your thoughts, videos and amazing guests with us!
    Much love,
    Jenn

  104. I LOVED this interview and it reminded me of the countless ways I am blessed. After being laid off from my job of 20 years in the food industry, I am embarking on a business of making super healthy raw chocolates that help people eat a healthy diet. All the added benefits of a healthy diet that me and my family have enjoyed and been transformed by over the last few years can now be paid forward by making these goodies available to everyone.
This interview touched very close to home to me in other ways. After being laid off I immersed myself in my yoga practice that had fallen by the way side. So many thoughts, emotions reactions were swirling through my head at the time it was almost like my sense of identity was gone. Yoga and taking a step back helped re-center me and give me the umph and inspiration for my next leap of faith.
I love this line of jewelry and plan on sharing the website with my kids, hubby.
I felt blessed on daily basis to be able to start a business that is truly in line with my passion and convictions. I am blessed to now have a flexible career that enables me to be home with my kids after school and work around the family schedule. And most of all for a wonderful husband who supports all of us.
    Thank you

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m sorry to hear you were laid off from your job of 20 years, though glad to hear you’re pursuing your dreams now! I know everyone who’s working hard to eat healthy but still gets cravings for sweets will be so glad for your healthy, raw chocolates!

  105. Dione

I’m blessed to know that I have God’s power and wisdom living on the inside of me. I’m grateful for breath in my body and being able to dream big with the freedom to put those dreams into action. I’m also grateful for Marie TV and the many talents that appear each week. It really shows the variety of the different God given talents that each of us have. It’s just simply exciting to be aware of the possibilities. Thanks for creating this community

  106. Every day I am blessed by my family for allowing me the opportunity to branch out as a jewelry designer after years of struggling with the entrepreneurial bug… It is so wonderful to see the success of another jewelry designer! As Satya discussed, I too want to provide support to others by providing proceeds to a Veteran’s nonprofit as I now create my own business.

Thank you Marie and Satya for such an inspiring story to keep us on track for what TRULY matters – Our faith in what we KNOW we are purposed to do!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so glad Satya’s story really hit home for you, Linda! We’re cheering you on as you follow your dreams. 🙂

  107. There are so many ways I feel blessed but I think that when I am able to stop, listen and feel grace in my life–really feel it, then I am grateful. I was smack in the middle of moving forward to my dream work when I was diagnosed with cancer. I’ve had two surgeries and am in recovery and though there has been much pain, fear, grief, I have also experienced incredible moments of joy and connection to my higher self. And experiencing the net of love as I navigate this journey has shown me the real blessing is love.

  108. Amy

I am blessed to have supportive family and friends. I am also learning to let go of the little things and see the big picture and have gratitude for everything in my life. For me this is a learning process but I am blessed to have a life where I have the opportunities to learn.

    • Pamela

I absolutely love all the jewelry presented and would love to be gifted the ability to spread the love to all! Marie: I am a long time fan and am totally grateful for your blessed attitude! You make the world a little better and I can only ascribe to do the same one little step at a time! Thanks for all that you do thus the people in the pond!

  109. Nicole

It’s the little things that make me feel blessed! The sun on my face, little feathers and pennies along my path, my dog and the love in her eyes, my family and friends, yoga and the students I teach each day, a smile.

Satya’s story is inspiring, and I’m so excited about this collection! Congrats!

  110. What a wonderful story. I love the giving back part of Satya’s business and the fact that “it doesn’t have to be monetary”. So true. Energy is energy!

I feel blessed because after many years on the Spiritual Journey I found the Akashic Records work and realized that it’s the reason I was on the journey to start with! I’ve always felt energy, sensed ‘things’ in houses/around people. Being in touch with my intuition over time lead me to the concept of the Akashic Records, and now I give readings for clients as part of my online business. I had to laugh seeing Satya’s jewelry since I have peacock feathers all over my office since a recent spiritual experience which opened my gifts even further — and the vision included peacock feathers. Now I have real peacock feathers, sparkly artificial ones in my office, peacock pictures on my browsers…I even have a peacock feather style wristband for my watch.

Spiritually I read from the Akashic Records that peacock feathers represent “Bhodisvatta or Bodhisatta Energy” – the meaning is “a being who is bound for enlightenment”. Hopefully that is everyone’s aim on the spiritual journey.

Feeling blessed on the journey! Thanks for sharing Satya’s work and this wonderful uplifting post.

    Sarah

  111. Lisa

Enjoying life is a choice. I can choose to be positive and start the day with the best intention. I think having the choice is a blessing. I feel blessed each time I wake up to see the start of a new day. The newness of what lies ahead is something I cherish each day. Each day is new and has the potential to be great! Even when things don’t go our way we can still choose to focus on the blessings in our life and enjoy being alive!

  112. Maqui

I recently moved to Switzerland because of my husband’s job. I’am an industrial designer and I’ve been studying for the past 3 years to become a professional goldsmith. I’m trying to built my jewellery business from scratch and I can really relate to what Satya said about the “list” and the internal dialogs and specially about not doing things alone (I’ve been really struggling, because I feel very alone in this new country) Just knowing that what I’m going trough is normal and knowing that Satya also experienced it and seeing how strong she is, really gives me hope. I hope to be able to turn the other voice up and know that I can do it! I would love to make it in the jewellery industry and to be able to help and give back to my community would be a dream come true. Thank you both, you made my day!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

You CAN do this and we’re cheering you on! It’s great to hear that Satya’s story really resonates with you on a personal level. 🙂

  113. Wow! Loved this video! Something definitely drew me in this morning. I am a mama of 2 and one on the way in 7 weeks. I have a slamming Pilates and Wellness studio in a resort town in Delaware. I love what I do offering health, wellness, and healing to so many people. It’s why I love it so much to see someone feel better about themselves or live without pain because you’ve taught them a different way to view their lifestyle. I am blessed because I will have 3 beautiful kids by Thanksgiving and a supportive and loving husband. (which it’s our 8 year anniversary today btw) 😉 But what stood out the most was that I need to ask for more help. I have a hard time asking for help due to getting burned or someone completely taking control over the situation and it turns into a confrontation which I completely hate confrontation! But now I’ve become so cautious of people’s intentions it’s begun to hold me back from the things I love the most. The many ideas I have to continue to grow and expand, to reach out to the world with what I have to offer, causing myself to work 70+ hours a week, not see my little ones, and have no “me” time has definitely put a strain on my heart and soul. So I’ve decided to reopen my heart and mind to help and know I’m just going to ask for it more often than not and trust a little more!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Happy Anniversary, Kelly! And congrats on your little one on the way. I’m so glad you’re feeling more empowered to ask for help when you need it. Spending time with your family and staving off burnout is so important.

  114. I am blessed for my challenges. They have made me who I am. I have gone from unhealthy, unhappy and practically homeless to now owning a thriving coaching and speaking business that has a positive impact on the world by helping other women transform their lives. It is the strength and wisdom I received from those challenges that spur me on to help others. I am now blessed with a crazy awesome business, a loving support system, healthy and happy children, my own home, and the ability to travel the world doing what I love. Thank you Marie and Satya for continuing to inspire us all to make good choices in our businesses, change the world one step and one person at a time, and to be inspiring role models for others. I love your jewelry and can see myself purchasing many pieces both for myself and to give as gifts. Thank you!

  115. Marie, I TOTALLY LOVE the heart and intentionality behind this post! And I’m so excited about your line of jewelry!!!!

I believe being blessed is just as much an intentional state of mind as it is a verbal declaration.

Today I choose to be blessed by seeing the challenge & adventure in my life as vehicles for growth. I’m blessed to give & receive grace for my rough edges, & for those in my life who help refine & polish them. Like a gem set in a fine piece of jewelry, I’m blessed to embrace my unique facets and for the opportunity to reflect light and positivity wherever I go. I’m blessed to be wholly, completely, uniquely me – and to get to boldly & beautifully leave my mark in this world, just like Satya!

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Love that. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your love and excitement with us.

  116. Hellloooo!

I am so blessed, especially during times of great change (and moments of doubt or distress), because I know that everything is always working out for me. I am blessed with silver linings around every corner. I am blessed with the the perfect clients, imperfections in life, and the ability to guide from the heart. I am blessed with beautiful young ladies and wise matriarchs in my life. I am blessed to be here and blessed to enjoy the quiet moments, loud moments, and dancing moments of life.

Congratulations! Beautiful work ladies & team.

Peace, abundance and blessings be with everyone in this top notch community of life lovers.

  117. I feel more blessed every day that I get to help others. In helping others feel well, I touch a passion inside me that I have realized in the past year (since adopting my 5 year old daughter) is so important to have and to recognize. Blessings come in knowing this. Understanding what makes me tick and why helps me be the best person I can be. For that I am grateful…and blessed. Daily, I recognize the blessings in my life — friends, a supportive husband, and a truly beautifully spirited daughter — that all support me in my ongoing desire to do and be the best I can be.

  118. Tammy

Marie, I love your videos and interviews. I actually have tears in my eyes after watching this one. I love that Satya started her business in 10 days because she had a passion. She didn’t let those negative voices stop her from moving forward. I am expanding my business in a new direction and it’s a little scary. After listening to this interview I am inspired to move forward faster and with intense passion. I will always remember the quote “if you love what you do and your intention is pure, the universe will open every door. Thank you so much!

  119. You are living my dream. I’ve always wanted to use my gifts and talent to inspire others especially children. I know from the core of who I am that a meaningful life can only come from being who you truly are, pure love. To truly inspire others is to live what you are because that example is the only way to teach. Thank you for reinforcing the fact that I am on my path. Love!

  120. Miche

🙂 there’s something to be grateful for in every challenge life presents. Thank you for blessing me with your encouragement! Here’s to looking at y’all.

  121. Beautiful jewelry! Congratulations! I feel blessed because I am healthy, I have a loving boyfriend, and a Mom and Dad who are only a phone call away. I would be remiss not to mention my bulldog Henry’s kisses. Those bring me great joy, as does his sweet little gargoyle face.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      Yay for Henry kisses!!

  122. I have been blessed with the ability to bounce. I mean that literally and figuratively. My father died when I was five and my mother suffered from bipolar disorder, and back then it wasn’t even called that yet. As a youth I was often embarrassed and depressed over the crazy day to day happenings that where my manic mother’s cycles. However, the older I got the more I come to appreciate what she tuaght me was to love and live fiercely! I can face the most tumultuous of circumstances without fear or reluctance. I am a LEAPER and what a blessing that has been…

  123. Karen

I love the inspirational and conscious souls you choose to interview. Thank you! “If you love what you do and your intention is pure, the universe will open every door possible”. So true. I am on my way to finding my soul’s path.

  124. I was writing my book this morning on the difference between ‘giving’ and being of service. I was writing a piece on the ‘helping professions’ like social work, nurses and so on… I wrote that the difference between being of service and helping is the place from which we start. That to be of service, we start by filling ourselves, filling our vessel with spirit, with breathe, with opening up to energy that is larger than ourselves. What I loved about Satya is that she left her job as social worker and filled her cup, filled her spirit, took care of her body and from this place something so beautiful emerged, her creation emerged and being of service to the children emerged. Much more powerful than her work as a social worker perhaps because she filled herself with life energy, with love, then she manifested from that place. Manifesting from love connects us to community, to each other and to what wants to be created through us,we become the universe and the door. Love the jewellery!!!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Yes! It’s fascinating how Satya wanted so deeply to help people through social work, but in actuality, she gets to help even MORE people doing what she loves. That’s a beautiful thing!

  125. Being a yoga teacher myself, I think about how I can make a greater difference in the world. I am inspired from Satya to figure out what that is. I feel grateful for the people in my life that love and support me on this journey, especially my husband Doug. I am praying that some day I might find that greater purpose that I have to give to the world. Thanks ladies! I’d love a piece of this jewelery some day! Namaste!

  126. Emily Rose

I am so blessed that I felt the need to give back, much like Satya, and had the resources to be able to leave a job that didn’t feel like it had meaning in pursuit of something more meaningful. I have been blessed by the people I have met along my journey and the beautiful souls who have contributed to my growth. I’m now adding one more to that list thanks to you, Marie! I love you and love Satya and what you both stand for. Thank you both for being bright, shiny lights!

  127. Satya’s inspiration literally came from ‘listening to the whispers in the wind’. Then trusting. Trusting her intuition and the messages being given to her. What a gift! And she’s sharing that with the world through her beautiful jewellery.

    • Kristin - Team Forleo

Yes! Trusting that voice of intuition is huge.

  128. Today I saw an post on Tondo about a Kickstarter campaign that someone was digitally generating bananas…yup that’s right, bananas. The question was posed is this conceptual art.
Another Kickstarter campaign involving this other person making potato salad, for funds The guy was so overwhelmed by the money raised he gave it to charity.

I commented the digital bananas was not art to me. If the monies raised go toward charity now that’s art with a higher purpose.

If you can’t create without having a higher purpose. Otherwise to me it’s pointless.

Giving money is fine, but what people need is connection with others and doing the hands on work, caring for our fellow human being and making this troubled world a better place. What better way to do this than through creativity.

Beautiful project Satya, making a difference one piece at a time. A real testament to the power of the individual, and that’s the truth!

Thank you Marie for sharing this!

  129. This morning I was feeling blessed before I opened Marie’s email. Then I hopped right on over to check out the jewelry. The necklace and the title TRUST YOURSELF made my heart skip flip as that is my renewed mantra. I have a frickin’ blessed life and am very grateful AND YET know it’s time to take it up a level. I’m a successful ghostwriter and I love helping others get their message out. I also want to get MY MESSAGE out. Been dillydallying there for a very long time. Today, I hit the send button for a query, my first submission in my name. A small start, but a start. And then I hop over here and see RADIATE ABUNDANCE and TRUST YOURSELF and SHARE YOUR GIFTS. Lovely confirmation. Sending a hug and great big thank you to Marie for carrying the torch and lighting the way. Cheers!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

That’s so exciting, Kelly! Fingers crossed you get some good news from your query. 🙂

  130. Ree Varcoe

By the way, Satya’s story was food for the soul. Thank you.

  131. I recently launched my ebook. I feel blessed that I have the courage to share the personal stories through this book about mindfulness and gardening. Some of the stories are quite personal and it is from the dark side of me. I was having hard time even to share with friends.
I haven’t able to sell any of the book yet but I believe through this book and what I believe in, I can make a difference to this world.
When the intention is pure, every door will open. Beautiful words that I can resonate with as that what’s keeps me going in sharing the benefits of mindful gardening.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Congrats on your book launch, Ivy! We’ve got our fingers crossed that it’ll fall into the hands of the people who need it most.

  132. Kimberly

What an inspiration both of you are! I love hearing how you preserve and keep moving with the help of mantras. Any way we can help children is truly a blessing to this world. Thank you for sharing your talents and gifts. xoxo Kimberly

  133. Al

Wow, I love the #BeBlessed!! I am just redoing my website and branding around peacocks and peacock feathers for the exact reasons you have written with the Share Your Gift piece! I had been looking for what represented me and what I do with in work, and nothing came for awhile, and one day I did a meditation, and Peacock came…and I was like What the Heck! I love Peacock…but didn’t see how it could be a logo etc….until I researched all that it stood for, and then I was YES!! So I am feeling very Blessed in this moment for my intuition, and beautiful confirmations that have come my way like this jewelry of yours!! Being creative and intuitive always makes me feel so alive and blessed! I’ve since created a mandala from a Peacock feather and designed some Peacock Power leggings too!! Heres to Peacock Power, Intuition and Creativity! Thank You so much!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

This is so cool! I’m glad you found a symbol with a meaning that resonates with you. 🙂

  134. Ann Marie Merlino

Wow. I am blessed that I found your website. Seriously. Every Tuesday I look forward to the videos and the inspiring messages that come across to me — like my own personal inspirational videos that cover all aspects of life. I would love to win this because when I looked at it it would remind me to be pure and love whatever I am doing, at that moment. All in!

  135. Amanda

There were so many great parts of this episode. The story about the sisterhood supporting their friend during her fight with cancer was touching. But the story about Anthony and after-school yoga was my favorite. It brought tears to my eyes. It just reminded me that sometimes even the people who try really hard to push you away are the ones who need your love the most.
I am incredibly #blessed in my life. I am surrounded by love and by a family I have chosen. Despite everything I have been through, they have been my cheerleaders, constantly reminding me that I CAN do it. (In fact, I’m going to make Satya’s mantra my own from now on.)
Thank you for this episode. I needed to watch it today. Lots of love!!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

So true, Amanda. Sometimes the people who need love the most are the most afraid to ask for it.

  136. After a near-death biking accident in 2012, I sustained a head injury and underwent major surgery. They shared with me after the operation that I wouldn’t have made it if they didn’t get me into surgery immediately.

Thanks to my great baseline health, I recovered in a third of the time that they predicted, and was able to get back to doing what I love every day.

Now, I feel SO blessed and grateful to be alive and happy, and to have a business and life that I love thanks to the hard work and consistency I’ve put in, and of course, Marie Forleo and B-School. Thank you Marie!

I ADORE the Satya line, awesome job Marie and the Satya team!

    Love,
    Lula

  137. I am blessed by Satya’s words, “I know I can do this.” When I heard them I thought to myself, ‘Oh that’s a nice mantra’, then as I read about the competition the quieter background voice said, ‘You’ll never win so move along’. I almost closed the page and went on with my day when I thought ‘Hang on, I know you can do this.’ Win or not, I am already blessed by coming across this wonderfully inspiring story. Thank you.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Aww, this put a big smile on my face. I’m so glad you didn’t let that negative voice keep you from sharing your wisdom with us!

  138. melissa

I loved this video with Satya… It’s important to hear her say that you can’t do it alone, and need to ask for help. Which I never do, for the same reason’s Marie didn’t. Marie… thank you for helping business owners, your video’s are helpful, fun, and inspiring… Always grateful

  139. What a gorgeous collection! I would be honored to wear these powerful, lovely reminders of Grace.
I am blessed because I get to wake up every day to do what I was put here to do – to coach, to teach, to lead ceremonies, and to act as a vessel of Divine energy here on Earth. I am blessed because I always knew that this calling was there, and that knowledge pulled me through days (whole years) when I wasn’t sure that I could keep going. But I did, and all that I learned in those dark times, and in the Between times, serves me now as I serve others. I am blessed with amazing, brave clients who show up to the work of moving blocks out of their way, who inspire me daily to keep doing the same. I am blessed with the support of friends, family, and the Universe in this work. I am blessed with a full heart, with Gratitude, with the ability to see the blessings in everything.

  140. How blessed I am really starts early on when I had a rare heart defect discovered by a heart murmur at my one year check up. The procedure I needed done had been done a handful of times. The first surgeon we had met with had no successes at all. The second one had one success and failure – he was my best bet. We went with the surgery and I bet the odds. Here I am living a blessed life, loving my sweet husband and our two blessings. I’m lucky enough to stay home and run our house, teach our babies and love them all well – all while running my business helping and inspiring others. To me, I can’t get much more blessed.

  141. Thank you, Marie, for creating something that will def bring out the beauty of any woman who wears this beautiful jewelry! I feel blessed by having a loving and supportive family who puts up with me and my dream to write for a living. I am also blessed to have had the opportunity to be touched by your generosity through your workshops, B-School, CopyCure and, of course, your weekly emails. I look forward to the words of wisdom they offer. This way, I too can bless others by putting into practice what I learn.

  142. Each day I get share steps towards body peace and confidence through nutrition therapy and wellness coaching. We are fearfully and wonderfully made and I get to remind people every day of this, and how to use their intuition for wellness. Not everyone gets to do what they love & help others. Because of this, I feel so blessed.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Amen to that. Being able to do what you love is a huge blessing. We’re so glad you’re blessed!

  143. I have so much to feel blessed for. Gorgeous 2 year old triplets that, every day, let me understand what unconditional love and true abundance is. (They are so grateful for every single thing they are given!), a gift of being able to unblock and balance the dis-ease of anyone that seeks out such healing, a beautiful family that gives me both roots and wings, and the knowledge that I am divinely protected and guided.
I’m loving this new jewelry line. You did so beautifully infusing it with such soul!

  144. The message that Satya shared that resonated most with me me is “you don’t have to do it alone.” I am in the process of transitioning my business into one that gives back. This is the perfect reminder that I do need to lean on others to make it happen. And the best part of learning this message is that it coincides with why I am blessed. I have had many reminders in the last few months that I am blessed with the most awesome family and friends. I’ve realized, to make my new business happen, I should look to my family and friends much more so than even my business colleagues, who may have connections and ideas but can’t give the emotional support, which is more of what I need! Plus, how much fun would it be to share this new chapter with the people that mean the most to me. Thank you Satya and Marie for sharing this!

  145. I’m blessed. Because I get to be on this adventure called life. life ain’t always green smoothies and fun times so sometimes I forget..
Then life sends me a reminder like this one. Happiness.

  146. I am so blessed.

I’m blessed for the love in my life. He supports me so well.
I’m blessed for my healthy body. She’s so supple & adaptable.
I’m blessed for the country I live in. To have been born on such a beautiful piece of earth.

    And most importantly…
I’m blessed to live in a time in which it is possible to make a huge difference in the world. To be surrounded by wonderful men & women, inspiring me by sharing their heart out & changing peoples lives.
To create content that makes my soul sing & gets me to fulfill my life’s purpose.

    Thank you so much Marie.
Thanks for opening my eyes to the gift I have to offer the world. For giving me practical tools on how to serve as effectively as possible. I’m blessed to have you in my life!

Hi ..I appreciate the challenge and transition it took to change direction.
It takes courage and even more courage to say, “Yes, let’s do it.”
I have taken a giant step forward and I’m studying to become a teacher at 46!
I realise that age is irrelevant and what I can give is far surmountable now than if I had decided to do it earlier.
Best of all, I’m doing it for me. Not for my son or for my family’s approval or respect in the community but the enjoyment of encouraging children with my own special brand of style, grace and exuberance. Peace.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

It’s never too late to follow your dreams! I’m so glad you’re doing what you love and not letting anything get in the way.

  149. Maryanne

I told my ex Mother-in-law (do they really become ex?) that I have been blessed with a great life. She replied “really”? Childhood was painful, my teen years were spent alone and terrified, my marriage fell apart after 17 years. To many people, that is what they see. I see so many blessings. Friends and two kids who I love so deeply and who really love me. I have enough, I don’t ever go without food or a home. My second son is transgender and is finally happy after years of pain. By having a tough life at the start, I can see the beauty and joy of the life I have been given. Life is so good. I would change nothing.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

You have such a beautiful perspective and optimism! We love that! And I’m so glad your son is happy now too. <3

  150. Jennifer Ibarra

Wow, today’s episode really spoke to me. I was JUST having a conversation with a friend of mine of how I don’t like asking for help from my daughter’s dad. I guess I want it to come from him, BUT I CANT do it all by myself. Thank you for reminding me of that. I have a lot of dreams and goals I want to accomplish, MarieTV has helped me a lot to realize the time is NOW. I also realized how Blessed I really am. I have a great family and awesome friends and I AM UNSTOPPABLE.

  151. Danielle

I gave my bridesmaids Satya necklaces as a thank you gift for taking part in our wedding. 6 years later, when I look back at the pictures of my gorgeous girls, I remember how I met each of them through different stages of my life, and how on that day, they all came together to celebrate my husband and I and how we all had the greatest time. I felt so blessed on that day and every time I look at my pictures. Knowing that choices I made and fate brought them all into my life makes me so grateful for the life I’ve led so far.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Aww, this is such a sweet story! I bet Satya would love to hear this. 🙂

  152. What a beautiful conversation between two authentic and openhearted women! Thank you, Satya and Marie. Btw, the Satya Tree of Life necklace that I bought years ago at the Omega Institute never leaves my neck. 🙂

I am so blessed to find myself at age 61 feeling more alive and guided than I have throughout my entire life. I’m grateful that all of the big and little losses and challenges in my life (divorce after 30 years of marriage, loss of family, home, death of two parents, a beloved partner and two dogs, serious health challenges) have not left me bitter and weak, but stronger, more resilient, and able to find JOY and happiness in my everyday life. Being alone has not made me lonely but has gifted me with a deeper understanding and love of myself. I have strangely come out of my shell in this sixth decade, finally understanding the need to share my gifts with the world, as well as learning the gift of receiving from others. So very blessed. 🙂

Thank you for posing this question, Marie. It was good to ruminate on. xo

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

It’s never too late to share your gifts with the world and I’m so glad to hear you’re doing that. 🙂

  153. I am blessed to simply be alive and breathing on my journey through this life. Through struggles in my dissolving marriage, with money, raising three teen agers, working full time, and all that is expected of me-I have had feelings of insecurity, not being able to handle it all, worrying about being able to take care of my children financially and emotionally, overwhelming grief and loss, and hopelessness. I am blessed that however small, there is always the belief in me that I am on the right path. When I change my focus to my blessings, everything aligns and puts me back in the flow of this abundant universe.

  154. My favorite part of this episode is your tweetable about pure intention and the universe. Such an amazing reminder. I’m blessed because I’m continually reminded that I have so many important people that support me and my success in business. I have to stop sometimes to remember my own potential and the amazing things I can do if I put my heart into it. I know God has paved this way for me and put the right people into my life!

  155. I am blessed, I am blessed to have my sight, my hearing, all off my senses, my health, a place to live, my dog, my cat, my chickens, my mom, my fiancé, my knowledge, the good teachers I’ve had, others who inspire, the opportunities to continue growth, my clients who believe in me as a young person and young startup landscape design business.

  156. My family and friends and every moment I spend with them make me feel so incredibly blessed. I was lucky enough to be born with an identical twin who supports, challenges and loves me always. I have a Mom who taught us all to follow our hearts, dream big and find the light in even our darkest days. I am blessed to live with my soul mate and biggest fan whom I adore and admire. We have been blessed with 5 amazing children who teach me so much every day about how much my heart can expand and inspire me to show up better each day. I have beautiful friends in my life who have been there for me in some of the most challenging moments in my life and bless me with their love and kindness. To God and all the beautiful angels that watch over us, I am grateful beyond words for your abundant love and grace that you continue to shine upon us making this life so very magical indeed .

  157. Thanks Marie for bringing this incredible guest. First of all, there is such a beautiful sincerity about the way she expresses her message. You can tell she means every word. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that quote about how the universe will conspire for you if you love what you do and your intention is pure. It speaks to me especially now since I have been working tirelessly for the last 5 years on this project sometimes with a team and sometimes without. It hasn’t been the easiest but then it just started getting a little more consistent, and I found that I had to ask for help. I had to fight myself and just ask. And most people would say ‘sure! For you anything’ and I realized that I’d been doing this wrong. People were always there, I just didn’t know. Lol I don’t want to write too much as this is my first day here but I just had to let you know this meant a lot to me. Thankyou. I need it and oh the other part!! I can do this or I got this! Let me tell you a story. Two nights ago was the first time in my life that I literally didn’t sleep all night ( I’m a sleep lover btw lol) I was awake all night nervous and shaking because I had just gone to this screen test for a really big big movie role and it was now down to two of us. I started literally replaying everything I said and thinking how I should have added this or not said that. My nerves just got the best of me and I cried myself through the night. In the morning after confiding in my mother, she told me to pray and I did. (Haven’t prayed in a. Really long time can’t lie) so I did and I told myself you got this. Everything is ok. And guess what? Immediately everything melted away like butter and I felt a sense of peace and happiness. So I have to agree . Mantras are important. Thanks a lot. ??????????

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so glad you’re feeling more at peace now. We’ve got our fingers crossed that you’ll get the movie role!

  158. Rasa deV

Love hearing inspiring stories of successful people, of those that not inherit fortune, but created it themselves, of small businesses and people behind.
I am blessed that after quite a long period of no activity (after redundancy) I got inspiration and idea to start something completely new. Former finance person, became a baby photographer 🙂
I am blessed that I have a supporting husband and a beautiful daughter , that I have a family and am not alone. That we are all healthy and live quiet life.

  159. I am blessed because of my family and friends. The love and strength that we provide each other is such a blessing during the good and the bad. The help and support we shared during the birth of our son Simon this past summer was incredibly overwhelming. Shortly after we learned of my mom’s diagnosis with an invasive and fast growing form of breast cancer. As she begins chemo this month we will draw from each other with all the hope and strength The Lord will provide. This life is the biggest blessing and so much more because of the “village” of support and love.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so sorry to hear your mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. We’re sending lots of love and healing wishes your and your family’s way!

I was debating silently with myself about whether I was going to post this comment or not. I don’t feel that I deserve to win the jewelry after reading a few comments by others who have been through so much and, in my opinion, deserve to win more than I do. I have had my fair share of ups and downs in my short life of 21 years, including abuse, rape, and neglect, but I have lived through it and plan to conquer, so I decided I would post this comment to say that I am so very blessed, but I am also less concerned with myself and more concerned about other people and what I can do to help them see that they are worthy. Thank you, Marie and Satya, for allowing all of us to hear your stories and realize that our lives are not as bad as it could be and we can always better it. Please don’t enter me in the giveaway. I just wanted to share my thoughts.

    LOVE ❤️❤️❤️11:11

  162. I love that you did an episode on this, Marie! I have only recently come to realize the power the universe provides when we are truly passionate, seeking, and in love with making it happen. I love your shows, they have inspired me to keep walking a path that few others talk about.

  163. Good Morning Marie,
Satya resonated with me as a small business owner because I know the fears that come with trying to move forward and do waht you truly love to do and to share that with others. If you love what you do and your intention is pure, the universe will open every door, has also been one of my mantras. At times it is the only thing you can repeat over and over to get you through to the other side when your accountant is telling you otherwise. Thank you so much for the segment. Hugs! Angela

  164. Lynne

As I sit here, facing possible eviction and car repossession with the most negative account balance I’ve ever seen, I feel the blessing of peace in this storm. Deep down inside, I know there is a great life ahead of me and I will reach it. I know I am blessed even though circumstances would have me believe otherwise. When I close my eyes and look within, I see a glimmering light inside of me. Its flame and flicker may seem small at times, but it never ceases in its assignment of sending out pulsating waves of hope – reminding me that it won’t always be like this and I was created for MORE. I am blessed in this ‘season of lack’ to simply know I have a future and it is full of good that will not only transform my and my daughter’s life, but the lives of so many others I am allowed to serve. I am blessed to know my presence on this earth can and will create joy, peace and fulfillment in the world. I am blessed to know faith is not what is seen, but is, instead, “the substance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11.1). I am blessed with reassurance that this challenging season is actually filled with opportunities and will only make me stronger. I am blessed with sincere hope for my career and purpose, my peace and well-being, my family and friends, my courage to pursue truth, joy and righteousness in the face of adversity, my capacity to be greater than I am today, and my ability to positively change this world along the way.

“What makes me feel blessed?” Such an awesome and soothing question; my answer is HOPE.

  165. As a 50-something womanly version of a Tasmanian Devil, I feel blessed because I share my life with 2 beautiful guys; One’s 50-something and the other just 15. They allow me to see myself just as I am, accepting the ‘gifts’ I bestow on them with radiance – and I often know how much that has cost them! My journey has incorporated many bumpy rides, yet with these two by my side and with a reflective personality, I can lovingly admit to being happy just the way life is. 🙂 Thank you for your own amazing insights Marie; I love you and your shows. xxx

  166. My story of being blessed & becoming an entrepreneur: Iris Lane Designs came alive in Feb. 2014 but October 2013 was when life pushed me towards entrepreneurship.  My husband was deployed with some of the greatest men I will ever know.  I received an emergency alert saying we lost 4 amazing soldiers and several were badly injured.
During this time I was working at a job I didn’t really care for with a boss that wasn’t going to let me take time off when my husband returned.  So I felt stuck, frustrated and was mad as hell at the way things were going.  On one teary call with my husband he said “Honey, just quit.  You aren’t a quitter but this job isn’t in your best interest. I need you to be happy with your work.” 2 weeks before he came home I turned in my notice.
My passion & original career path was radiology and I wanted to go back to school for MRI.  I wasn’t accepted into the program and was completely lost as to what I was going to do!
In January a friend was having her baby shower. I wanted to make this growth chart/giant ruler I had seen on pinterest.   It came out perfectly! During the shower 2 ladies loved it so much they commissioned me to make them one!  On cloud nine and my brain was spitting out so many ideas I couldn’t focus on anything else.  A few weeks later I had launched Iris Lane Designs on Facebook, opened on Etsy in May and now my own website you can order from!
I have been blessed many times over. Without my amazing husband none of this would have been made. His support pushed me through the entire process.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

What a wonderful way to find your passion! It’s such a great feeling when you try something new and it works out so beautifully. Congrats!

  167. Dear Marie
I’ m blessed, because I live. This life is really the greatest gift.
Congratulations on your (co) – creation ~
    Stephanie.

  168. I am blessed that I am healthy and I have roof over my head. My husband has been very sick with an unknown illness for the past nine weeks and unable to work. I am a freelance graphic designer and business has been a little slow but I know that I have family and friends that love us and are concerned and have helped when they can. Thanks for the opportunity to win such beautiful pieces.

  169. Marie

Satya is such an inspiration. My mom had terminal ovarian cancer Christmas of 2013. I just transferred for work here from Houston at that time. My mom’s cancer was completely unexpected and a true surprise for us all. I had to care for her throughout her treatments and was laid off work. It’s been difficult finding work the last year so it’s been a real struggle for my family. I have three children at home who are such a blessing. Sometimes I forget since I can’t figure out bills and food out here in California. The blessings we receive. We have gone from buying $500/week groceries to having to line up at food pantries to make it through the week. Even with the hardship we manage to laugh and spend quality family time together. I love the concept of Satya. Ultimately regardless of any situation you may be in, life is best lived with a real purpose. I would like to open my own non-medical in home care business as I hope to help those who are sick like my mother and those who are aging who can’t manage their day to day. I just need a bit of direction and a small capital to make it happen. Hopefully sooner than later. I feel completely BLESSED with the experiences (good or bad) I’ve had these past couple of years as I’ve learned and continue to learn so much.

  170. I LOVED hearing your story Satya! Thank you so much for this inspirational post.

I believe with all my heart that the moment you decide to live for something BIGGER than yourself, you will have the whole Universe on your side. I made that decision when I quit my cushy corporate job 6 months ago, and since then, it has been an ongoing journey to discover what I was meant to create for the world. I feel blessed for the teachers, books, videos (like MarieTV), and new friends that the universe has sent my way. Such synchronicities and “luck” tell me that I’m on the right path!

Marie, you always tell me exactly what I need to hear and I love your fabulousness. Keep doing what you’re doing!

  171. Beautiful. I’m sure you’re gushing was appreciated. I am grateful for my life. No matter how much (or little) I have, whether it’s love, family, business, learning, fun- it’s always enough and it’s always right. It’s not always easy- but that’s usually because of me and something devine happens. I’m grateful for the times of peace within and freedom from worry. I’m grateful for ( I know this is corny-but true) not always getting what I want (believe me, that would’ve bad), but always having what I need. The people who love me no matter what and need me are blessings beyond words. It’s nice to be needed and loved. I’m grateful for moments of joy and I’m grateful that when I list what I’m grateful for- it just keeps coming and coming. I could go on and list all the people who light up my life (lots especially family- husband, kids and grandkids and situations, getting to do what I love every day. Being in a position to help others. Knowing that what’s ahead is even lovelier. I’m a lucky girl.

  172. Feeling blessed is much like hope. It’s more than just an emotion; it’s a cognitive process. It’s choosing to recognize all that is present in life and choosing an attitude of gratitude towards it all. It’s in that conscious choice of perceiving everything that shows up as a blessing, both “good” and “bad”, for which I am eternally grateful. I have an incredible group of soul sisters whom love and support me limitlessly in my business, my dreams, my personal life. I am surrounded by highly spiritual, deeply awakened souls, living very conscious lives; and together we catapult each other further and higher. The universe is my cocreater and gives me every opportunity (struggle) needed for growth, grace and wisdom. Doors open at the right time and place, people come into my life for specific purpose, and I am deeply intune to my intuition. I’m beyond blessed to be living this incredible life. I love this journey.

  173. Gina Rideout

What an incredible and inspiring lady (ladies!). I love this jewelry and am delighted I now know about it. I love what was said about how she built the “giving back” into her business model – this may have attracted much of her following. I know I will shop there knowing the person behind the business is a beautiful person and the pieces are meaningful. Biggest insight? That we don’t have to do this alone. I am trying to start my own business but my fear is holding me back and I do feel alone and terrified. I think these pieces might provide some encouragement:) Congratulations!

  174. Faith Oglesby

Wow, all samples of the jewelry are beautiful! “Radiant Abundance” is the necklace I would like to receive. To be able to share any abundance that I have would be something I would love to do in order to honor the Lord’s blessings upon my life and the lives of my family. I am blessed because the Lord gave me four beautiful children back in the 1980’s and each of them are doing well in their lives! Am also blessed with four adorable grandchildren, each of whom have their own unique personalities. Lastly, I am extremely grateful and blessed that my surgery this year in February turned out to not be cancer. I feel the Lord has given me an extension on my life and I sing HIS praises everyday.

Thanks for reading my comment and I send prayers out for all persons who visit this site. May everyone’s week be as productive as possible and safe.

  175. Joy

I’m blessed as I get to share my gifts everyday. I’m so lucky to share in moments of discovery and awakening with my students as they discover the power of their voice. I see the birth of change agents. By exploring the real questions of what it means to be human and not shying away from asking kids to think about big questions of how we live as a community I am so blessed to be able to contribute to building our caring, thoughtful community of tomorrow. I am blessed to be a teaching artist.

  176. I was inspired by how Satya received such a clear message about her purpose and how quickly and decisively she acted on it! Such courage and clarity! How am I blessed? I have the most amazing family that supports my creativity and makes it so easy for me to be who I am meant to be in this world! Love them! Yay!

  177. Andrea Leos

I am blessed because #1, I am so thankful for God in my life. He has blessed me with the gift of life, great health, a healthy family and great friends. He has protected me and always kept me safe in life. Without God, I would be nothing. For that reason, I am truly blessed and thankful!

  178. Briana

I feel blessed to have been born when I was. I’ve seen so much in the evolution of people, spirituality and technology. As I look at the positives in each, I smile about the accessibility of the world’s information. It is such a gift to be exposed to great people and things on a daily basis. Without the world at my fingertips, I’d have to find my own inspiration to be better. Videos like these push me faster and farther than anything else and for that I am so thankful. You mean a lot Marie, thank you so much for making the world a better place 🙂

  179. I’m not only blessed by God to be a wife & mother but also to live on a farm by the ocean where I’m able to connect with the earth & sea. My dream is to open my own little farm stand at the end of our lane where we can sell our organically grown produce and handcrafted & healthful items made here by myself and my children. My heart beams with happiness & pride as I watched my 4yr old grow his very first and very own garden this year. The joy & accomplishment he gained from planting each little seed and watching them all grow. The lessons he learned from the process of sowing and reaping his crop was a beauty to behold. Not to mention the fact that he’s much more anxious to eat HIS veggies!!lol
I know our dream will come true & the opportunities will be made available when the time is right. With a 4yr old & 9month old, a house renovation, a farm and gardens- I’m just about as busy as I can handle right now anyway. In the meantime, I’m enjoying every moment with my kids as my husband & I learn and save what is necessary to build our dream. I’m making, testing and perfecting products that range from hazelwood jewellery to handmade lotions & lip balms. As well as learning and growing our ever expanding gardens. A natural & authentic life here on the farm is our first goal. Marketing the products of it in order to make a living, solely from it, is our next goal.
I’ve never been more certain of the direction my life is suppose to go then I am at this point. So certain that we have already registered a business name for the business that technically doesnt exist yet- only in our dreams! (We also bought the domain name for it) which is something we chuckle over. But with God’s grace and good ole fashion hard work, we will see our dream realized.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Oh wow! A farm by the ocean sounds like the best of both worlds, just like a dream.

  180. I am incredibly blessed, first and foremost, with the most intensely loving family on the planet. My parents, aunt and uncle have showered me with love, light, positivity and incredibly wise teachings that thankfully have resonated with me deeply throughout my life so far. Their wisdom has lead me to making the kinds of decisions for myself that have required a faith and confidence in myself that I know I could not have made without the love I have from them. I am also blessed to be surrounded with some of the most amazing friends, teachers and mentors that I could ever ask for. There is not one day I don’t wake up and think about how outrageously lucky I feel to have such phenomenal people in my life who support me and who I get to support in return. I am also blessed to have an incredible career as a performance artist and writer, having worked with such extraordinary talent through the years, and from such a collective experience have the chance to share with others the knowledge I’ve gained through my own business, for which my mission is to help artists understand how to create a business, with their art, their way, and create the kind of change they wish to see in the world. Finally, I am blessed to have found with such teachers and leaders as Marie Forleo, who have taught me how to take a deep desire within me and bring it into fruition in ways I never could have anticipated were possible. I am incredibly blessed beyond belief with each of these gifts, and am honored beyond belief to share this at the end of such an inspiring and moving video. I’m grateful for this interview with Satya, whose jewelry I have always loved, as I live in NYC, but never knew the full story behind. Thank you, Marie and team, for all you do, as you have helped transform my life’s path into the dream I always believed was possible. With Gratitude and Love!!! xoxox Alexis

  181. Dawn

The squawk of a blue jay calls me to to admire its indigo hues.
    I feel blessed.
Sunlight streams in ribbons onto my clutter.
    I feel blessed.
The purring of the cat draws me deeper into meditation.
    I feel blessed.
Returning from a moments silence, my lens has zoomed out,
    And I know
    I am eternally blessed.

  182. This topic speaks so loudly to my heart that I can’t not contribute to this conversation.

I am blessed to have a family that supports and loves me unconditionally. I’m blessed to have learned the law of attraction from my father. What an amazing thing to pass down to children that anything is possible and can be created with positive thought and inspired action. It hasn’t always been roses and rainbows, so I was able to see tough times as blessings too. An opportunity to re-write my story, and create the life that I wanted out of contrast I was blessed to experience.

My greatest manifestation and blessing? My loving and patient husband. He allows me the opportunity to explore where my passions meet the gifts I can contribute to the world. He works very hard to allow me the opportunity and gift to be entrepreneurial. The biggest blessing is that he accepts and loves me for me.

On the topic of entrepreneurship, I am thankful to you, Marie. BSchool ignited the creativity in me that I completely lost touch with along the way. Thank you for blessing us with such a gift that helps so many of us find alignment and authenticity with who we are and how we can help others, and have FUN while we are at it!

Lastly (that I will write here…I could go on!), I am blessed to have one (December makes TWO!) beautiful children. I am constantly reminded how much love I have in my life. I am blessed to again see, through them, the world through the eyes of a child. There is so much to explore, wonder about, smile at, giggle at, and appreciate.

What a beautiful world of opportunity. We are ALL blessed!

    With so much love,
    Jennifer xo

So awesome, Jennifer! I’m so glad you’re blessed in so many ways, and congrats on your new little one. 🙂

  183. Thank you for your inspiring story Satya and for your beautiful art. I too feel blessed, surrounded by family and friends, who were supportive when I left corporate life for the world of healing and teaching. today i feel even more blessed to have an incredible community of students, teachers, healers and friends who are daily reminders of gratitude and purpose.

  184. Hi Marie & Satya!

I loved this video and its message!! This is all I want to do in my business. Giving back to the world what I’ve gotten from it.

I’ve been a Realtor for 2 years already and I’m currently taking B-School. I really want to transform my environment and my life thru my business with the gift that only I have (yes, I’ve been listening to Marie for 3 years already, LOL)

I’m blessed first because I’m still alive!! That we take it for granted and definitely we shouldn’t! Also, I have a lovely parents that have helped me be a person capable of empowering herself and others. Also, thanks to them, I could come to this country and succeed. I’m originally from Colombia and have been living in Miami for almost 8 years (anniversary in December. Yay!)

Additionally, I have a great husband who loves me enormously!! (No kids yet 🙂

I have a career and I’m mentally and physically capable of achieving amazing things!! I’m in the country of opportunity, where you can reach all your goals if it’s really in your heart and put discipline!!

I’m hugely blessed for just being who I am, conscious that I need to leave this world better while enjoying my own life and family!!

I have God who is my pilot! That’s all it takes to go wherever I want to go.

I thank this Marie’s giveaway because it made me purposely think of what I’m blessed for and remember it. Thank you!! Thank you!!

    Love,

I feel blessed in many ways. For starters after dropping out of high school in the 9th grade, I am currently working on my Master’s degree. My resilience and determination are strong, and no matter what life has thrown at you – you have to be strong enough to throw it back. Further, I am married to the most wonderful man on the planet! There is nothing he would not do to take care of his family – first and foremost. His amazing support and encouragement inspire me to keep on going. Paying it forward is another way I am blessed. I have a life coaching business, that I am in the process of revamping but I continue to not only inspire others to fulfill their dreams, but my friends – not just my clients, inspire me. #beblessed

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Wow! What a truly inspiring story. Congrats on working toward your Master’s!

  186. I am blessed for the community that helps me raise my daughter and allows for me, as a single mother to be of service as a transformative activist. Thank you Marie for all that you are and continue to inspire!

  187. Lucia Varela

I am blessed simply because I’m a stay home married woman and mom that is blessed to be alive and living in this earth surrounded by my personal team my family.

  188. I became a foster kid on my birthday, I was a victim of domestic violence and almost lost my life twice. I am the oldest of 16 kids and a single mom of 2 daughters, my mom died of AIDS.
Last year I had to move 1900 miles away from my daughters to save my own life. Now I’m back, homeless and starting over.
Despite all that’s happened to me, I still manage to start a the LahNaiM Foundation for Women and Girls to help others who’ve been in my shoes.
I try to be a light in people’s lives and live by the secret and law of attraction.
I’m blessed when I can help and bless others.
Thanks for the opportunity to share my story Marie.

    • Inspiring! Keep going and never give up.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

You’ve overcome so much hardship and I know have gained a lot of wisdom on your journey. We’ve got our fingers crossed that things will start looking up soon and that you’ll keep the strength to share your gifts with the world. Sending lots of love your way! <3

  189. Cynthia

I feel blessed because I have a loving husband, two adorable dogs, a job and life that I love. I would love to win this jewelry and would share the pieces with my friends.

  190. Biggest insight: YOU CAN NOT DO IT ALONE.

    • YES! This was huge for me, too.

It brought tears to my eyes, because I’ve been experiencing (for 12 months) how ‘doing it alone’ weakens my resolve and diminishes my vision.

My response to the failure of each effort, each launch, each investment has been to clip my big picture down into smaller and smaller versions of of the dream and intent.

Thank you for posting this, Shirley. I wish you happiness and success.

  191. Liva

What makes me feel blessed and why- is a wonderful, wonderful question that I’m planning to ask myself as often as possible. Gratitude is the first one that comes to mind. It is an eye opener- to see the reality I live in as it actually is and to shush all those lying voices whispering that something is not good enough. When I remember to thank God I believe I come into His good will for me- being content and happy because he just blesses us non-stop. I see that the arabic coffee I am drinking right now with cardamom- is a gift. Having warm feet and a place to stay in Jerusalem even just this one day- is a gift. The kind Jewish boys downstairs playing video games- is a gift. Peace that I have is a gift. The quietness all around is a gift. Electricity is a gift. My sense of hearing is a gift. Having the internet here is a gift. All my life has been and keeps being a gift. I’m so blessed! Thank you for asking! 🙂

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

So true, Liva. The universe gives us gifts every day and I’m so glad you’re noticing the daily gifts in your life. 🙂

  192. Liz Yang

I wake up feeling blessed every day because I get to be a mom to 3 beautiful little girls and wife to a loving husband! I get to show them what it means to feel fully and unconditionally loved for exactly who they are. I get to demonstrate how one person can make a difference for someone else by sharing love, kindness and compassion. I am truly blessed.

  193. Jean

Beautiful jewelry. Beautiful souls. My answer to what makes me feel blessed today is different than it would have been a few short weeks ago. God has taken me on an incredible journey (and B-School has been a part of it!) of finding my authentic self and searching deep inside to determine what I have to offer the world. My original business was management coaching. Fit with my previous career and made me feel powerful. I’ve now realized that my gift to the world will, instead, come from finding a purpose for my life’s pain. At the core of many people’s pain and life dysfunction is a wounded child. Despite the conscious mind that tells us ‘you can do it’, there is a subconscious mind (initially developed through childhood experiences) that tells us we’re not good enough, we’re flawed, we’ll never make it. So we put on a mask, hide from the world, and never live an authentic life. My purpose driven business is to help people heal their childhood wounds using various modalities including hypnotherapy. Once those wounds begin to heal we can be who God always intended us to be. Beautiful. Whole. Authentic. Unmasked. And Blessed.

  194. Tania

Congratulations on joining your blessings and sharing them with us all.
I am blessed for treasuring the abundance present in each and every day. For not taking anything or anyone for granted. I am so blessed for living my now with awareness and presence. For having the most wonderful people crossing their path with mine. For being able to treasure and apply my strengths into a work which bridges my best intentions to my raw nature deepened in love to support others. Last but not least, I am so very blessed for trusting the universe and living THE life I’ve dreamt of.

  195. Blessed to be part of your inspiring circle!
And I am truly Blessed to have found my soul mate in my son, who came to me through the love of adoption from Russia almost 10 years ago. He has challenged everyone of my conventional wisdoms; tested my patience and my priorities; has cracked open my traditional way of thinking; has offered himself to the universe as a free spirit, questioning the rights of education, family, religion, gender and individualism. I am Blessed to know that my life has become infinitely richer and I have become wiser, and that we still have a life time of learning ahead!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

So sweet, Cecile! I’m so glad you adopted your sweet son. I know he’s thankful you found him. 🙂

  196. I love the collection and have been a fan of Satya Jewelry for a few years. I am blessed because I believe in myself and what I am on this Earth to do. I have been blessed with children who love me unconditionally and lift me up. I am grateful for friends I have prayed for who constantly encourage me to be the best I can be. I have been able to silence the voices of negativity and I have learned to tell some people negativity and opinions are their right, but I don’t have to live it.

  197. I feel so blessed and very grateful every day to be able to love. As a conqueror of domestic violence and sexual assault, I had many days of feeling unlovable. I would see people living a life that seem to make them happy and I just wanted a little of what they had. Because I am a giver, I would always give until I had nothing else to give. One day I realize true giving started with me loving myself first and then sharing it with others. As a result I now do have meaningful people in my life. Every thing I do comes from a place of love and service now. Thank you for sharing this powerful story today. It has inspire me to create from a soulful place.

  198. I feel blessed because I took a heartbreaking experience and turned it into a wilder than I ever imagined dream. I literally went from being a stay at home mom to a single mom overnight and left an abusive husband. It was during that time I made a choice to overcome all hurt and obstacles and create a life my children and I loved. Today I have a nationwide business teaching others how to create healthy relationships and find true love. I am beyond blessed!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so glad you were able to turn such a challenging series of events into being able to do what you love! We’re so happy for you!

  199. Too blessed to be stressed! I strive to live that mantra, though it’s not an easy task. Moving from NYC to PA, having a baby, and living with my parents all while giving up my full time job has been hard. Not making the money I need to and living paycheck to paycheck now is hard…but then I have my mother who cooks with love and I am blessed. I have this little beautiful baby boy who smiles at me when he wakes up and I am blessed, I have a husband who I don’t see that much, but he makes a living for us and I am blessed. I went to IIN and have a health coaching business which I am building and watching Marie Forleo…I am blessed. This jewelry is beautiful. and I would love to share it with my youth ministry group at church. Wearing what you feel is a great way to spread blessings.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Lauren, I love that line — “Wearing what you feel is a great way to spread blessings.” Beautifully put.

  200. WOW! I love this jewelry…thank you so much, Marie, for always putting a spotlight on the wonderful creators and doers in this world and sharing the love with the rest of us. I feel blessed for so many things….but especially for living in this generation. The power of the internet and social media has opened up my mind and my heart to so many different stories, struggles, and different points of view. I feel like I have grown so much as a person since I have started connecting with people online….it truly is such a gift! Thanks to the internet and online community I have been introduced to Marie Forleo ( as well as a number of other online entrepreneurs) and have been inspired and empowered to start my own online business as a Feng Shui and Mindset Coach.

  201. Balance in life is probably one of the most difficult things we as human beings could ever come to conquer. And have we conquered it? In today’s world, and especially in my own life, I find it extremely difficult to provide daily balance to my day, and I have come to realize that with every decision, whether it be an easy and light decision, or a heavy one, each yes or no determines how I balance my day, my week, my month, my year. Gosh – it is nowhere near easy! I am a 26-year-old woman. I work full time in an advertising agency. I also work as a full time wedding and portrait photographer. I am a girlfriend who has recently purchased an older home with her boyfriend. Renovations are no joke! For all intents and purposes – life is crazy but I am so blessed to have the support I need to ensure it is all manageable. My boyfriend has become my rock, my supporter, my cheerleader, and above all, my shoulder to lean on when things become messy or hard. We have become this really great team and without him, most of what I do would not be possible!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Wow! You’ve got a lot on your plate, but it sounds like it’s the good kind of busy. Take care of yourself and enjoy the awesomeness. 🙂

  202. Kelly

My answer is likely a little different than most but I feel blessed by my dogs. Yup, no matter how alone I feel sometimes, I remind myself, and they remind me too, that I am never alone! One year ago I drove across the country to a brand new town, alone. But not alone because they were right there with me. I love them and they love me back, totally unconditionally. They remind be constantly that no matter what, I am always wanted and needed, as they depend on me 100% for their care. And I am honoured and blessed to provide it. Xo

  203. I have been blessed with amazing women wanting to help promote my new business! But I have been holding back because I realized in a short time after opening and pouring ALL of my life savings and energy into it after leaving my career of 28 years that It’s too much for me. Managing money or to be in charge of others careers is not something I want to do on a daily basis as it drains my energy and takes me away from what I do best. I’m a beauty maker, customer service lover and I’m best to promote and inspire and connect people with their hearts desire. I remember coming home at 11:00every night after the second month of opening and (telling my husband and my self (“I can’t do this!) I couldn’t believe I was saying that over and over for a couple of weeks. Of course, being the wonderful mate that he is – he said “Yes you can!”I said NO really I cant! and then I asked myself if that is really true?- because I don’t ever remember saying that to myself when I really wanted something. (I’m 54 so I know myself) I then had an aha moment- “I can’t and don’t want to do this in a quality and worthwhile way ALONE!” So- Take away is that both of you stated you don’t do this alone and that you cant do this alone! So officially starting today I am inviting other women in to find a way to creatively partner with me in what I have already in place. So many love it we get great feedback daily but I cant give it the love it needs to grow. The business sort of magically attracts wonderful women and yet I need to close the doors asap otherwise. (not enough financial planning) I will explore turning my beautiful Beauty Lounge space into a totally different kind of business. Allowing others to partner is frightening but I believe there may be a way that is good for all when we all bring different gifts to the table and are completely honest about what we have to contribute. Thank -You Marie and Satya! I feel supported just by hearing you story. Also Thank-You for B-school which has been a major support along the way! We may need your jewelry to bless our place! Love!

  204. What makes me feel blessed is my life, because life it’s beautiful. I wake up everyday and I can see the ceiling on my bed, that’s enough reason to feel blessed. I am ALIVE! I have a roof under my head, I have the money to buy organic food to nourish my body, I have water, I have eyes to see the beauty of my day, I have a car that takes me around, I have a job that provides enough to live well, I have a beautiful family, I have the ability and knowledge to sit and meditate and connect with my higher purpose, I’ve been blessed to recently start my own business even when I haven’t earned anything yet, it’s amazing and so incredible to have this opportunity and to start building a company from scratch by doing what I love and simultaneously by helping people live a better, healthier and happier life. What more can I ask? I’m so blessed, I’m so grateful. Life it’s beautiful. This moment, this instant everything it’s okay and I feel blessed. Thank you!

  205. I love her business model! I am in the works of starting a new business venture and I want my products to be of purpose but have been trying to figure out how to be a “for profit” and still be “for purpose.” This is very inspiring. Thank you!

  206. Lovely jewelry and collection! I am blessed. Yes, very blessed. I was struck by a car in a cross walk when I was 24 years old. I was told I was lucky to be alive. I have spent the past 7 years pursuing what matters most in my heart and sharing it with the world. I am fortunate to have a loving husband, two children, and the courage to continue to follow my passion of bringing art to the youngest artists around! Children! The story of Satya Jewelry resonates deeply with me. I too am following that crazy uncertain path of following my heart and am working toward bringing more creative opportunities to young children so our world will continue to have innovative, creative, and caring people in it. I love the share your passions piece so much, for that is what I hope to help others discover and do. Life is short and we all have our own genius to offer. Thank you for this opportunity!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you’re okay now! What a blessing to survive and now be following your dreams and doing what you love.

  207. Stacy

Beautiful! And so inspiring. Thank you!

  208. Melissa

I feel blessed to be able to write a comment about feeling blessed. That means I have a life that allows me not only the time to learn and grow but the ability to write, believe and hope. Thank you Marie and all those who work with you for all you do to enrich and inspire the lives of others with your gifts and talents.

  209. Dear Marie and Satya, thank you for sharing this interview. Satya, your jewellery is simply gorgeous, and your energy is just so positive & pure!

Marie, your question on how and why I feel blessed in my life comes at a very interesting moment. I was just reflecting on this earlier today as I realised that my late grandmother, my mum’s mum, would have been 100 years’ old tomorrow.

Her name was Guilhermina and she was a very hardworking lady, original from a fairly poor region in the North of Portugal. Aged 12, she was sent to Lisbon with one of her sisters, to work as a servant for a wealthy family.

But even though she attended school only for a few years, she always was deeply conscious of the value of education.

She saw it as THE way to give a better life to her own children. And so she worked very hard to provide for her family and make sure that her 4 kids would complete high-school — although this was agains her husband’s will!

Naturally, my mum inherited this passion for education, and she instilled it in me since I was a little girl.

My own parents worked hard to provide me with the very best schools they could afford…

And I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for this lineage of (mostly) women who stood for and heavily invested in their children’s education.

Owing to my education, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a scientist in France (and even get a paper published!), as an equity analyst in the City of London, as a finance controller in The Netherlands — and now as a location-independent entrepreneur!

I’ve been able to travel the world for both business and fun!

I’ve had the chance to meet amazing people from various backgrounds and nationalities…

And I’ve started my own multicultural family in the process 🙂

Sometimes I look at my life and think that my grandmother, Guilhermina, would have been proud of me. She passed away when I was 14, so she didn’t get to see what I’ve been up to over the past 18 years — unless her soul has been looking at me from some other dimension.

So I feel very blessed for the unwavering efforts and courage that my grandmother showed throughout her life.

Quite literally, I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for her.

    Much love,
    Elsa

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Love it! What a wonderful legacy to impart on you, and now you can impart that same legacy to your own children. 🙂

  210. Myranda McDaniel

I feel blessed every moment I’m able to be fully present. Everything is unfolding in a way that I’ve never experienced and each smile, laughter and experience bring sa deeper sense of the what being blessed means to me. Everything is blessing and having the awareness to see it is almost magical.

  211. Bridget Levens

Grace. Yoga leads me to grace day after day (and most times getting to this place of grace looks so not graceful). It’s falling and getting up and leaning in sweetly towards yourself, when your habit is to shame and reject. Acceptance and appreciation. The sting and the honey. Every bit of this, a blessing.

  212. Laurel Pourboghrat

Always enjoy your shows – so upbeat and uplifting! I am so blessed! I have an amazing husband who is so supportive of me and the two most wonderful children! Three loving cats, and an extended family that loves and supports me. None of my family is living anymore, but I am so blessed to have had them because they helped make me who I am. I am blessed to be living in an age with people like Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay who inspire me everyday, and for shows like yours and so many others. I feel that the world is becoming more spiritual and that together, as One, we can really make a positive impact an make the world a better place. I am always so blessed to work as a Wellness Advocate for an essential oil company whose mission it is to help others empower their lives with nature’s gifts.

  213. Oh Marie, You always ask great questions! Yes, I am so blessed! I have been able to take a horrendous, violent abusive childhood and make gold out of it…..and now for the past 26 years I have been teaching what I have learned about forgiveness, self-love, boundaries, love and more to women and men. I have been gifted with so many gifts: writing, singing, Sound Healing, laughter, JOY and so much more…and now I’m beginning to share these gifts with others through my first book, Nothing Ever Goes On Here and my new project, a one-woman show in process to inspire others and to show them that no matter where you have been, no matter what has happened to you, that you my friend can be, do and create the world/life/work/relationships you love! And I am blessed to receive your gifts in my inbox all the time! Thanks Marie for being such a light on the planet! Yay, I guess I’m just as uncool as you with my gushing but all true! Big Hug my friend! <3

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

Congrats on your book! I’m so glad you overcame the hardships you experienced and are now sharing your gifts with the world. We believe in you and we’re cheering you on!

  214. Nikki A.

I am so lucky to have 2 beautiful little boys that I wished for my entire life. I have a wonderful family and have been successful all by myself. I thank god everyday for the beauty I am surrounded with daily.

  215. Katie

My mother is my greatest blessing. The way that she loves everyone is so gentle and steadfast and true. She has always supported and encouraged me to be myself, and never burdened me with expectations. Whenever I am lost and heartbroken she sits with me and just holds space for me to feel what I need to feel. She stood by my father for almost 7 years while he battled four cancers, and still managed to run a business, cook dinner every night and be an amazing mother to me. Her love is unconditional, and I thank God every day for bringing such an incredible person into my life. If I won your necklaces, I would give them to her ❤️ Thanks for everything you do Marie!

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

What an inspiring role model to have as your mom! Give her a virtual high five for us. 🙂

  216. Alexis Walker

Ten years ago I was asked to volunteer my services as a makeup artist at a weekend retreat for women diagnosed with breast cancer. My job was to help these beautiful women deal with the physical effects of cancer treatments and to find new ways to help them see themselves as the radiant souls that I was seeing. I went with the purpose of showering them with love and being a flower behind their ear so to speak .. I wanted to help them to receive and feel cared for and to remember parts of themselves that maybe their cancer had shoved to a back corner somewhere. I wanted them to feel uplifted and hopeful and connected to their essence, which to me was beauty in the deepest sense. The experience was one of total transformation that went beyond the physical and I can’t say who benefited more from the retreat .. The volunteers or participants. What I know is that when people are gathered together with the soul purpose of letting love flow through them in service of another .. That magic happens . I left that weekend knowing that something had spoken to me on a soul level and moved me profoundly… I had never really known anyone in my intimate life with cancer before that and the degree to which I was galvanized sort of surprised me. I realized that is what I wanted to do one day…create my own wonderful retreat and infuse it with as much magic as I could get my hands on.

Cut to .. Life happening .. I continued working as a makeup artist on big movies and tv shows for another ten years. I travelled and lived like a gypsy and gave every ounce of my life to a business that wasn’t a reflection of who I really am. There were beautiful moments and people I came across , but Mostly I struggled with burn out, trying to find meaning in my life… I mean really really searching for it .. I felt VERY lonely, very stuck , and very depressed. I thought about the retreat every six months or so and then would shelf it …

Cut to , my father being diagnosed with cancer two years ago and eventually passing from his illness three months ago. Two weeks ago a dear girlfriend was diagnosed with breast cancer and has begun treatment. So guess what’s happening. That’s right. I’m doing it.

I am blessed because I have finally listened to the calling of my soul and I trust it implicitely. I trust that the right people will come into my life to help make this a reality and I trust the goosebumps I get whenever I start to think or dream or brainstorm. The real blessing is this … To BE the blessing in whatever way we are called. Thank you Marie and Satya for your beautiful work and inspiration and lovely talismans of spirit x

  217. Stacy

Oops! My comment got cut off — I feel blessed to have a husband who is willing to make breakfast every morning and walk the dogs more than his share so that I can focus on building my news innovation business. All my clients, advisors and everyone in my life I feel lucky to have. Thanks for this inspiring post.

  218. I just started a business with my friend last week! Thank you,Satya, for sharing your joy with us. Your message and how you’ve incorporated philanthropy into the core of your business is exactly what we are trying to achieve. I am so blessed to live a life that I’m choosing. When I wake up and look at my schedule each day and realize that it’s full of appointments and tasks designed to bring me closer to my dreams I am so excited to get going. Everything is possible!

  219. What a timely post! I am also inspired by beautiful people with kind hearts and share the same values. Wish you success in your new project! I am blessed because I accept change and it’s inevitable in everything. So as long as I am cool with change I can always be happy!

  220. Cristina Chahine

I am blessed because I have the fortune of living out my life as Cristina Chahine. Each one of us is blessed and gifts the blessing of being oneself to another each day. Yes, we can list people, groups or places but in the end each one of us and our ability to thrive in this world are blessings. Blessings that we shouldn’t take for granted, even now I feel blessed to share and am blessed to be able to connect with Marie Forleo and her team who helps to bring Marie Forleo to all of us! Continued success and blessings to you all!
    THANKS and LOVE THE JEWELRY!

  221. Pamela

My crazy, beautiful husband Nick, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this year. The song ‘I See Your True Colours’ has since been in my heart and on my lips and I imagine him now as the most shining and gorgeous light of many colours. I am blessed because he left me with two crazy, beautiful kids. His passing has brought deep connection between everyone who knew him and we now live in love more than ever before.

    • Mandy - Team Forleo

I’m so sorry to hear of your husband’s sudden passing. We’re sending lots of love and healing wishes to you and your family. <3

  222. When I read your email this morning Marie I knew I had to watch the video. You mentioned how the jewelry meant something specific to you and for the last few months my journey has been leading me towards things I connect with. During the interview Satya talked about not putting things off because we feel like we need to wait for the right time and we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by the thoughts of everything it takes to start on the path of your dreams. I’ve been doing that for sometime and I am so blessed to have watched this video as if it were meant for me to empower me to take that first step and not ask HOW but to just do and the doors will open because it is my truth and my gift to share with the world. I know I can do this !!! Your jewelry is beautiful not only in fashion but sentiment and I can’t wait to go shopping!

  223. Vanessa Rae

I feel blessed when I tuck my kids in every night and know that they are safe, warm and prepared for the day ahead. I feel blessed that my relationship with my husband is bound in love, respect and laughter. I feel blessed that my heart is open to love and compassion.

  224. Steph

Wow, so inspiring. I love that every piece of her jewelry does just that- inspires and show how much she loves. To be honest, I’m not a jewelry kind of girl. I know, I know, I’ll say it again, I’m not that into jewelry. I’ll wear my wedding band, put on some little hoop earrings- if need be and I’m good to go. Her jewelry, however, stands out. I would be so proud to wear something of hers and start at conversation with it. Even if I don’t win the drawing, I’d be happy to buy a piece online. Thank you Satya, for taking that extra step and thoughtfulness of helping women and children- it truly melts me heart and inspires me to do the same some how.
Oh yeah, why am I so blessed? I have $538 in my bank account, I have a rental house and live ten blocks from the beach, I have seven sisters (yes! seven), two nephews, my parents and a comfortable king size bed to fit myself, my husband and our two dogs. I am blessed with love.

Thanks Marie for all you do!

  225. The first time I passed Satya Jewelry on Bleeker Street, I was reminded of my dear friend and mentor Kaia and her daughter named Satya who I’ve had the privilege of watching grow up. I am blessed to be surrounded by incredible women, young and old, who teach me everyday about grace and wisdom and justice. I am blessed to watch Satya grow into herself and find her voice. I am blessed by her mother’s friendship which has helped me to find my voice. I am blessed and held in divine feminine power daily. And I am grateful.

  226. Thank you for sharing Satya’s story. The biggest message I take away is, ‘it takes a village’; you don’t need to do this alone. I began a similar journey just over a year ago; trying to do it pretty much alone. I’m learning to ask for help :). I also realize I’ve been ‘over-thinking’ the give back portion, and see I’m already giving back to the artisans, their families and local community simply by supporting their creations. My path is unfolding beautifully, my intentions remain pure, I love what I do, and I thank you for sharing this conversation.

  227. I am blessed to be alive. I am blessed to be on this earth during this powerful time when spiritual entrepreneurs are succeeding and setting the pace in the business world. I am blessed to be doing what I love and am able to make a positive impact in my clients lives. I am blessed to have found you, Marie, for you have been the light in my fleeting moments of darkness.

  228. Symone New

I feel blessed to have spent twenty five years loving, learning from, and being inspired by my great-grandmother. She passed away on Labor Day of this year after a decade long battle with dementia. I’m grateful for every visit; the opportunity to feed her, hold her hand, see her face light up when she saw me long after the words and her memory left her. I’m grateful for her strength and bravery, the lessons she didn’t even know she was teaching me because she simply saw her story as her life- from how to leave an abusive marriage despite the stigma against divorce and single parenthood in mid-20th century America to combating discrimination and racism to become a nurse, homeowner, and self-sufficient woman who took no gruff. Most of all, I’m grateful to have the health, youth, and determination to hold my memories, and hers, close for us both, always.

  229. I feel blessed to have found my purpose through the adversities in my life and I’ve never felt happier.
At the age of 27, doctors discovered a congenital kidney defect, which resulted in surgery on both kidneys, lifelong impairment to kidney function and the inability to carry a baby. Then came three surgeries to remove pre-cancerous cells from my cervix; two short marriages ending in divorce; the loss of my mother to aggressive, painful cancer at 68 and finally, being diagnosed with a chronic illness at the age of 44, which left me disabled and unable to work.
After five years of being bed-bound on the worst days and house-bound on the good ones, life looked pretty bleak. Any type of physical, emotional or mental stress would land me back in bed. I got so down that suicide seemed like the only way to end the pain and feelings of low self-esteem, lack of purpose and value to others. Thankfully, I did not go through with it.
In order to get out of my own despair, I realized getting back to helping others might be the key to making myself feel better. While healthy I had been an avid volunteer, helping the elderly and the handicapped, along with pet rescue organizations. I began to volunteer with a local hospice organization. The time spent giving to someone in a less fortunate position made me grateful for what I still possessed.
I began practicing random acts of kindness to everyone I encountered. Eventually I started a blog about my journey and how spreading kindness to others saved me. My goal is to create products to donate proceeds to benefit children and the homeless. I am blessed to still be here and be able to serve others just by being me.

  230. Lorett

I’m blessed for every moment in life. I’m a single mother of 5, and the past 3 years have been quite a rollercoaster. I almost lost a brother, but he made a miraculous recovery. However, my mom did pass away last year, and my dad passed away this year. Considering they hadn’t even reached the age of 65…made me think about a lot of things. Life is very precious, and it’s amazing when you discover your purpose and live a “full” life…in the sense of living a happy life. I’m very grateful for my 5 children and the one friend that has been by my side through all these ups and downs. Despite everything that I’m going through and have been through…I still feel blessed. There must be a reason for me to be here because I still have the breath of life.

  231. Kelly

I am blessed in many ways but the thing that stands out the most (and that we all have) is Inner Guidance. That feeling deep in the pit of my stomach I have or that inspired action that I just HAVE to take. Having that internal compass to go by has brought all of the good things into my life – my husband, my son, a business doing what I love. And in the past when I didn’t listen to it and just pushed it down, it brought me lessons that I needed to learn from.

  232. David

Opened this morning and couldn’t help but smile. Today is my beautiful wife’s birthday, and we’ve been married for 32 years. Thirty of those years we served in the U.S. military traveling the world (and moving the household over twenty times). She’s still my best friend, a great counselor to others, and the mother of five great kids, (two son-in-laws), and Nana to one new grandson, (all of whom we have great relations with). She is also trying to change the world from her one little corner, doing big things in small packages for children without much, across the world. She’s special and I love her. She blesses everyone around her – and certainly me. A second short mention that various people and groups have tried to kill me for years, (nearly accomplishing that on numerous occasions), but we are truly blessed that didn’t happen and we are still enjoying life with each other.

Nice session this morning. Blessings Marie (and your entire crew) on your life today.

  233. Thank you for this wonderful episode! I have a 19month old son and run a business at the same time and I feel so blessed because I have a village around me. Especially my mother-in-law is a fantastic granny and a beautiful soul and she helps us to get through our every day life. We are all so blessed to have such a great person in our family!
It would be a huge honor to give her the #BeBlessed compilation as thank you for she does.
All the best from Austria and thank you for my new mantra “I can do this!”
    Elisabeth

  234. I am blessed for so many reasons, and sometimes I forget. I am blessed cause I am alive, cause I have so many dreams I still want to accomplish. I am blessed because I can hear, smell, taste and see.. I am blessed because I’ve been a mother who has been able to raise a child and gone through every stage until now he has reached his almost 23rd birthday.. I am blessed because I survived the heartaches, the desillusions, the hardhsips and my heart is not bitter but even sweeter.. I am blessed becuase there is at least one person that hinks of me everyday.. whomever that may be: family members, co workers, Facebook friends, instagram followers, neighbors…. I am blessed because I am.. because I’ve grown to beocme more conscious of the magnificence of life, the Universe, mother earth, people´s capacity to love… I am blessed because I have lot´s of beautiful friends and therapists, healers who have helped me along the way.. I am blessed because I acknowledge that I am not alone and that everything I have ever accomplished it has truly been the result of teamwork.. I am blessed because I know I don’t know it all.. I am blessed because I am incredibly intrigued by the mistery of life and I am totally available to go deeper in the journey of discoveries.. I am blessed because my heart beats, my feet dance, my soul sings… I am blessed because I woke up this morning and now I am writing this.. I am infinite more blessed by seeing how all of you feel blessed. .. Thank you Marie, for inspiring me to take a few minutes to get out of my busy day to share some of my many blessings with you all. …

  235. Ann

I am blessed b/c after so many years of not, I now believe in myself.
I am blessed b/c I now know who I am.
I am blessed b/c I have overcome so much to love me most so that I can love others.
I am blessed b/c I have family and friends who have stood by me during my lowest of lows and highest of highs.
I am blessed b/c I have a mother who is all heart, all love and a lot of discipline and who is also my best friend and hero.
I am blessed b/c I can now share, without reservations, my story.

  236. Theresa Ryan

I’m blessed because I was given the opportunity to change someone’s life. I met a man through a United way campaign that I run at my office…he was IN PRISON FOR 12 YEARS and when he got out he went to a local not-for-profit for help. He wanted a job…first things first, he needed to learn how to use a computer. For 12 years he was in a cell with books, a paper, and pen.

    Crazy, right?

He got the help he needed, landed a part time gig washing dishes at a local diner…then he got another P/T shift driving folks to and from the local airport. He told me about sharing stories with them on his way into town…about how blessed he is to have a job, to share his city with outsiders and to WORK. He LOVED having work.

Long story…longer….He came to speak at a United Way breakfast where I was…eating fruit and drinking coffee. I cried like a baby when he shared his story and when he thanked his mentors from the org that fostered him. 42 guys got out of prison the same day he did…39 of them are back in prison. Not Edward. Edward spoke at that breakfast. I approached him afterwards and asked if he would share his story with my company to increase support of our United Way campaign (which it did). He shared the story, met the team and a few months later we posted a job for a solar installer to join our team.

Edward applied and now we work alongside each other. Wild. He tells me I’m his angel. I didn’t think much of it, but reflecting this morning on how I’m blessed…this is it. I’m blessed to see this opportunity…to meet Edward and to ACT. Not just “pray” or “wish” for him…but to have the chance to DO SOMETHING.

You rock, Maria. Thanks for making us think…

    Much love,

    Theresa

Some people just give up hope. It takes special people to recover. It’s not easy. Great story. Thank you for sharing.

  237. I love Satya’s story about her dream and that her name means truth. I am blessed to be a 2 week breast cancer survivor and will be donating a percentage of proceeds of my new Survivor jewelry to breast cancer, to help others experiencing this dis-ease. I’m blessed to have a wonderful, supportive husband, friends and cat nurses who are accompanying me on this journey with their encouragement and support. And Louise Hay, author of You Can Heal your Life, is one of my biggest inspirations and helping me think positive thoughts. I’m grateful daily for my life as a survivor.

  238. I honestly feel blessed just to be living this life, it’s a gift that every single day I try my best not to take for granted. I’m married to an awesome man, and have two little girls who are my biggest teachers, so grateful! When I was younger I honestly thought that it was all down hill after 40…. Now in my early 40’s, I feel like I’m not just chasing balance in my life anymore but rather, learning and growing, attaining the tools and support to live my life’s purpose while enjoying the process.

One of my clients said to me. ‘the only bad days are the ones where we don’t learn something’, one of my new mantras!

I love the part of this conversation where you talk about how Satya started out with a philanthropic element built into her business. Although I do try my best to give back, I can do more and this was the push that I needed to make that happen.

Satya’s pieces are beautiful, beautiful pieces, that were clearly made with a lot of heart. I love the collaboration between the two of you, and the unforgettable results, these necklaces are stunning.

Marie – thank you for everything that you do, I learn something every time I listen or read you 🙂 This, I don’t take for granted either!

    Lots of Love,
    Tania

  239. Thanks for the story, Marie, and the invitation to gratitude. I have been swimming in blessings lately. I am currently in my childhood home with my dad who is in hospice and is expected to die in the next few weeks. I’m so grateful for the fact that my commitment to my family has been so strong throughout my life and that it is 100% clear to me that this is where I want to be right now. I’m grateful that my business is in a solid enough place that I had the freedom to press pause and come be with my Dad. My Dad is a retired Presbyterian minister, and singing hymns is a great tradition in our family, so every night my family and I gather around my Dad’s bedside and sing his favorite hymns. He’s also an activist of old, so we sing folk songs of freedom and liberation. I’m grateful for my extraordinary family. How we’re all showing up 500%. How we are together with so much kindness and so much love. I’m grateful to get to see my Dad in his essence right now, and to see so clearly what an extraordinary life he’s lived. How he’s devoted his life to service. His work with MLK in the sixties and his continued work to end racism and poverty. His devotion to and love for his children. That would be me. How he’s organized his life around providing for his family and at the same time has always fought for justice in the world. I see the sacrifices he’s made for those around him. I’m so grateful for the abundance of blessings that his life has made possible for me, and at the same time am grateful for the huge lesson in generosity and service.

    • Connie

Thank-You for posting this morning. Loved hearing about your Dad and your time and commitment to family. You are So blessed! Enjoy every minute together.

    • Very moving. Your father is blessed to have you as family and for the love you’ve shown him in his time of hardship. Thank you for your beautiful story.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Johanna, you are such a blessing. Both here now through you sharing this, and because of what you’re doing for your dad and family. Thank you so much for being here, and sharing such beautiful lessons with us. We’re sending you and your family our very best.

  240. The blessings in my life take on many forms. The more obvious: my family, my business and my amazing husband. And a few unusual blessings: fear and self-doubt. I believe these are blessings because through these I am discovering my strength. When I am fearful about my vision for the future, I have the ability to acknowledge that fear and push past it. When I doubt myself I am given the opportunity to remember my talents and squash those doubts. I am blessed beyond belief.

  241. Alyssa Féy

I feel blessed because I finally have a grasp on what it takes in order to be successful in business, relationships and in personal happiness. All endevors we embark on need to stem from a place of service to another. Only then can our intentions be pure and we can realize our authentic self. This realization combined with a positive mental attitude will Give me what I need to stop the negative personal dialogue to make the changes i crave in my life and to help others attain theirs. A blessing indeed!

  242. Modeeha

I feel blessed each and every day. From the moment I open my eyes, I feel feel grateful for what the universe has bestowed upon me. Another day, another opportunity to help those in need, even with a simple smile; a chance to see the beautiful faces of my children and instil in them the meaning of gratitude for everything we have and even in the challenges that we face. I feel blessed to see the sun, to hear the sound of rain, for the people I work with and my family. We have the ability to touch the heart of everyone in our path in this lifetime and should feel grateful and blessed each day we have been given that opportunity. It is a gift. It is a blessing.

  243. Hope

Thank you, Satya & Marie! This was a powerful reminder to me to follow my dreams. Satya’s nugget of wisdom, “If you love what you do and your intention is pure, the universe will open every door” brought up so much emotion in me. My current job is a place of negativity, stress, and unhappiness for me, but feels like a necessary evil as I put my husband through grad school. I am a new yoga teacher and love teaching yoga on the side, and am hoping to have saved enough money to start a health coaching online certification soon so that I can start a new career as a holisitic health coach. I needed that reminder that “I got this” and that “I know I can do this”. My personal motto is “Work like a boss” and that’s what I’m doing every day in every facet of my life to achieve my dream. I am so blessed to have a husband who supports me 100% and a friend who wants to go into business with me to open our own health and wellness center and yoga studio. I believe gratitude to be the antidote to stress so thanks for the reminder to be grateful during this period of my life where the stress sometimes gets the better of me.

  244. Hi Marie and Satya,
My name is Anisah and I’m a 19 year old university student trying to come up with an inspiring and self-improving business model. I adore art and meaningful pieces aswell, so i really enjoyed todays interview.

What makes me blessed is having the ability to go through depression and uncertainty of my own purpose in life to an open minded, more confident and purposeful woman. I am blessed because of my family, friends, God, and all the struggles AND opportunities that have come my way. I always had an internal infliction where i would here that internal dialougue as Satya mentioned and always listened to the negative direction, “You Can’t do it, you have no time.” i recently decided to say no to the negative thoughts and feelings to open my mind to a positive and well-rounded lifestyle. I am truly blessed because of my talents to make a difference in the world as that is my sole purpose. I am blessed because even though im going through an unorganized or “everything is going wrong” type of day, I will know my purpose and strive to fulfill it will every ounce of me. I will make a difference and i believe your jewerly collabration will make an even larger difference to us.
Thank you & lots of love,
    Anisah

  245. Diana Vargas Singh

Love this interview! So amazing What Satya and her company & foundation are doing to help children around the world! The collaboration idea is phenomenal!! I feel blessed to be alive, aware, and open. Everyday is a new beginning to love, be kind, give, strive. There is so much in the world that is not going right, but with more and more of us becoming aware, realizing that there is power in THAT awareness and that we can all make a difference – even with one small positive act or word in our own little universes. I feel blessed to alive right now!

  246. Sonja

I feel blessed when blessing others. It’s a healing balm to give and receive, especially when enduring hardship and loss.

Just a few years ago, my circumstances seemed dire. I was financially and emotionally broke, but had just enough money to paint glass- wine glasses, ornaments, glass lamps, etc that I had saved up in my craft closet. I took those creations and donated them to various silent auctions.

I had only my time and talent to give, but the items helped raise money for Austin Dog Rescue, Austin Dogtoberfest, Texas Baptist Children’s Home, Believe in Tomorrow, Extreme Home Makeover in Bastrop, TX, etc…I even volunteered to teach a few art classes at the Austin Children’s Shelter.

It was healing to create beautiful things and to see what kind of impact they would have in raising money for a good cause.

I was able to contribute to the world in a meaningful way when the world told me I had nothing to give.

Throwing the doors of giving wide open opened other doors of opportunity that I’m deeply thankful for.

To this day, I look for ways to pay it forward, engaging in random acts of crafting because it makes life fun & more worthwhile.

The Satya jewelry concept is lovely. Something I can definitely get behind!
    #BeBlessed -Sonja

  247. Kathryn

Why am I blessed? Because, before I was even born I had a stroke. I came into this world being viewed as “damaged goods” by society. My childhood was filled with therapy and low expectations. My adolescence was dark and depressing. Fast forward to today – I graduated high school with honors, I graduated college with a BBA, I’m an assistant manager at a mortgage company where I’ve worked for the past 6+ years, I run my own business on the side, and I’m married to my best friend of 9 years. I’m blessed that my stroke didn’t do more damage than it did. I’m blessed to be here on this planet to share my story and my life – having a disability of any kind does not mean you are damaged goods. It means you have a special meaning to teach others in your life… and that’s the greatest blessing to share.

Thank you Marie and Satya for the amazing episode and wonderful collaboration!

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Amazing, Kathryn. You are so clearly the exact opposite of damaged goods.

  248. Carol

I have to remember that I am blessed, even when I don’t feel like I am. A little over a year ago, my family and I experienced a traumatic event. Since then, most days feel heavy and long. They are filled with flashbacks, anxiety, fear, anger, sadness…but there has been a lot of good too. My children continue to flourish and achieve, despite dealing with PTSD. My husband is alive and well. I have a job that brings me satisfaction and allows me to impact others in a positive way. So I am blessed. Even when I don’t feel like I am.

  249. Candice

I am in the process of re-discovering my spirituality by trying to view the world from a place of love and discovery rather than the fear and discipline I was raised with. I am blessed, grateful and in awe of the how immediately generous and abundant the universe is if you pay attention.
The world has come alive before my eyes and everything I needs seems to present itself. I am finding a renewed joy in everything–from my children to changing of the seasons and this is just the beginning!

  250. What makes me feel blessed is when I’m aware and choose to be grateful for who I am (flaws and all), what I have (even with it’s impermanence), and all the beauty that surrounds me. I too am a yoga instructor and have a soft spot in my heart for the lesson of Santosha, a sanskrit word for “contentment”. I have found and experienced that when you are truly grateful for what you have, what you have becomes enough….and when you feel you have enough, you are content. Gratitude for me, is the back door entrance to feeling blessed and holds the key to unlocking my heart and opening my world. Besides, it just plain feels better to appreciate who you are than to fight who you aren’t.

  251. What an amazing energy – thank you for sharing the wisdom that we can do it, but we can’t do it alone. It’s so great to hear a story of someone building a successful business, that they do from their heart and honour others in the process. Why do I feel blessed? Each day, I wake up with the freedom of choice. That alone is the biggest blessing. I can choose how I FEEL, choose how I LOVE, choose how I EXPRESS and finally, after 40 hard years I can finally CHOOSE to accept the fact that I AM and I don’t need to be anymore. I feel blessed to have watched this video for it confirms, that by living from love, the doors will be opened for me to succeed. Love and Light xx

  252. Oh Marie and Marie Team members…

I feel blessed because I have the opportunity to live my dream of owning my own business. You know, it’s kind of funny. What some people see as an obstacle is often nothing more than a HUGE blessing. I get knocked down/something doesn’t go right? I’m learning and growing, being prepared for the future. A timeline setback occurs? I’m being aligned to understand and be in the will of perfect timing. This, seeing everything as a blessing, is the blessing (within itself) that I found out was the greatest blessing of all… along with adding patience, that is. Rome wasn’t built in a day; a blessing. And, c’mon now… my mother carried me for 9 months, not two or three weeks. What a blessing! So Patience is more than a virtue. It’s a blessing and I’m finding out the best place to start – living in gratitude. My business is small but that’s okay. I’m blessed to be called to put myself out there to do what I can do to help people. So I’m blessed because from bad or small things can come great things. And, I feel just understanding and believing that is my biggest blessing of all.
PS My small business, Afford A Luxury Party, is a party service where I’m blessed to create awesome experiences that help people connect – conveniently and afford-ably, which means I help people experience luxury without stress, which *really* means I help people overwhelmed about money, celebrate love.

Thank you for reading my comment. And thank you for blessing us all with everything you share with us, continually. Soul to soul… Namaste!

  253. Vivian

So grateful for Marie and her sharings with awesome guests.

I have been watching the Marie TV at a time of life change & uncertainity on where I should land (really geographically across continents ! ). The episode strikes me with the message of trusting my intuition so I just act with Marie’s blessings & leave a message, first time !

Thank you for having me to smile with you.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Yay for your first message! We love having your smile here, Vivian, as you listen to where you’re supposed to land next.

  254. Sara

I am blessed in big and in small ways in every moment. I am blessed that I can take a deep breathe, bringing air in and out of my lungs allowing me to be Alive. I can move my body freely and speak authentically. I can laugh out loud and cry openly and sing and dance and play and love. I am blessed to have three of the most creative and inspiring siblings who support eachother endlessly. I am blessed to have cultivated friendships with truly passionate, courageous, inspiring people who support and challenge me. I am blessed with a sensitive and compassionate heart that allows me to feel deeply and express myself passionately. I am blessed that I started my ‘journey of consciousness’ at a relatively young and influential age which taught me to think, speak and act with gratitude in every moment. This life is so fragile and so precious, notice the blessings surrounding you in every moment. No matter how simple it may seem, the there is always something to appreciate. It can start with the beauty of a flower or the warmth of the sun or the soft fur of your aging family cat or the ability to take a slow, deep breath. Most people walk around all day holding their breath without even knowing. Try it right now. In through the nose out through the mouth, take one slow, deep breath. See? We can breathe. We are Alive. That, I am truly grateful for.

  255. My mom has had Grand Canyon-related items on her bucket list for a long time. Years ago, I read her desires taped to the wall of her office, and I was shocked at how much she wanted the Grand Canyon in her life. (She lives in rural North Carolina.) Fast forward several years, and she still hadn’t trekked across the Grand Canyon (“rim-to-rim”), one of her big desires. Then something terrible happened. Her best friend – her sister, Jenny – got brain cancer. My mom spent every second she could at Aunt Jenny’s side, helping her enjoy her final days, while witnessing the personality changes that come with the disease. If you know someone who has died of brain cancer, you know you lose them twice: once when their beautiful personality disappears, and once when their war-torn body stops breathing. During and after these losses, instead of giving in to despair, my mom threw her energy into raising funds to cure brain cancer in a way that brought her joy, through her gift of being an endurance athlete. She personally cycled across the US in about eleven days, dealing with the hallucinations and impaired judgment that comes with sleep deprivation and intense athletic effort. And three days ago, with a small team of athletes, she crossed the Grand Canyon on foot. With a completion time of less than ten hours, her rim-to-rim journey was “easy.” She and her team raised over $25,000 for brain cancer research. My mom’s actions give hope to cancer victims and their families. But this is why I feel blessed: she shows me every day that I can cross the canyon of any darkness, challenge, and loss if I endure, with an insistence on finding joy everywhere, and helping others along the way.

Wow wow wow! Genevieve, what an amazing story and share, and your last line about what your mother has shown you is so powerful. Thank you for this.

  256. Leslie

So beautiful, and just in time for Christmas shopping!

I’m starting a new business venture with a dear friend, and so much of what you spoke about in the video relates to what we’re doing. Thank you so much!!

  257. Millie

I listen to my reality, I listen to my dreams, the movement of my life guides me where I need to be. When synchronicity happened, I know that I am on the right path. “I CAN DO THIS AND I DON’T NEED TO BE ALONE”. Thank you for the encouragement thank you for the inspiration.

  258. Bella

Being with my husband, Alfred, and my dog, Tato, reminds me of how incredibly blessed I am. My truest treasures and source of gratitude and happiness are with them. They make the four walls of our home heaven on earth.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

      Love that, Bella.

  259. Absolutely love the new jewelry line collaboration; beautiful exquisite pieces! I feel blessed to wake up each day with the love of my family, a purpose in my life with the ability to impact and give back to others. This is what keeps me going each day no matter what happens. #BeBlessed is my new mantra!

  260. The most recent blessing recieved has been the love and support of the village around us that is more far reaching than I realized. My husband recently got laid off, and we have no income or health insurance for a family of 5, with kids all under the age 8. My eyes and heart have been opened to a community in my city called Metro Caring, I never knew existed and an understanding of a government system that is tough for some to grant grace to those who need it and cannot escape it. This experience has me wanting to give in ways I never have before, even when I have little to give. It has changed my perspective and my intentions and I am forever grateful to endure this time in our lives. And it is so true that difficult times can make a marriage and family stronger if you are so lucky for the difficulty to have that affect.

  261. Oh wow, this collection and the beautiful stories behind it touches my heart. I would like to start collecting jewelry pieces from each country I visit on my Remote Year journey. I feel very blessed because I was selected to be a part of a program that enables me to live and work remotely in a new country each month for 12 months across Europe, Asia, and South America. I’m still working on making a proper living while I travel, but I’m blessed to have a savings cushion I can use to fulfill my travel dreams. It would be a blessing to add one of the Satya pieces to my starter collection and a good reminder to not only get a piece from each country, but to keep writing so that I can continue to share my experiences and gifts with the world, and hopefully that will lead to whatever career path I’m supposed to have.

  262. Melissa

This video, a HUGE synchronicity, will always be my positive reminder.
I’m currently working on a Juvenile Justice program I hope to submit next year…I need to remember it’s about intention and making a difference.
How do I feel blessed? I’m surrounded by blessings and miracles everday, especially my 2 little ones with life long medical conditions who bring light, magic, wonder, and inspiration and without them, I wouldn’t have found the path of wanting to make children’s lives better, especially those who have lost their way or don’t have the right support.
Thank you. I have been blessed!

  263. Tomas

I am really happy for Satya Jewelry. It is my same business philosophy…but I must be missing a crucial point. My results are very different.
    All my best Tomas.

  264. Michelle Kirkpatrick

Thanks to both of you for creating such beautiful pieces of art, from your souls. 🙂 To be honest, I am not much of a jewelry-wearer, except for my wedding ring and an occasional pair of earrings, but I was thinking these would be perfect gifts to give to my sister-in-law. She is a beautiful person, inside and out, and she has been missing her tribe since her recent move across the country. One way I am blessed is through my friendship/sisterhood with her, and another is that through her I met my amazing (I don’t tell him nearly enough) husband! Her marriage has been a light for ours. Thanks again. Best to you, Marie, on this new adventure!

  265. I feel blessed that I found a mate who is 100% supportive of my creative pursuits, so much so that he is down with me leaving my full-time gig in a few short months to pursue them full time. Although it’s terrifying and there are a few details left to be sorted out, it’s happening. I got this.

  266. Margarethe Albertyn

What an amazing dream come true Marie! It is so amazing to be able to design the #BeBlessed collection for Satya! I myself am a jewelry designer/creator and life coach so this is just unbelievably inspirational to see happening♥️ My transition into life coaching happened this February when I was crying driving to work yet again. I felt like my soul was dying and I actually wanted to get into a car accident just so I didn’t have to go in!! That moment I realized that it was unhealthy and DANGEROUS to cut off my life source like that. So I went in, quit, and stopped telling the story that I’m “not ready yet”.

  267. Miah

A beautiful collaboration between two beautiful, giving souls. Bravo.
I am truly blessed to be in a place in my life where I can be introspective and listen to my heart in order to find my life’s purpose. I haven’t yet found it, but I know that I will if I follow my heart and trust its wisdom. I have so much to be thankful and grateful for. I am blessed in so many ways and remind myself everyday of these blessings as I continue to lead from the heart to find my way in the world.
Thank you for the inspiration to keep trusting myself and following my heart.

Loved this! I am blessed because when I am feeling a little down about work / life / balance and I pop open my email in the morning yet again – (Groundhog’s Day style), sometimes (like every Tuesday) there is a little gift of inspiration from people like Satya that absolutely transforms my mood / outlook and I can get back to work. Talk about a blessing!

  269. Tess

Beauty, Meaning, Precious Stones, and Precious settings – Marie, the #Be Blessed collection is Ah-mazing! Satya Jewelry is simple, elegant, meaningful and genuinely beautiful.

Beyond being loved and supported by my family, and friends, I am humbled and graced with deep connection to source. As a lifetime mulitpotentialite and wishful entrepreneur, I am finally embarking on that life long dream. When the student is ready, the teacher appears and I am deeply blessed with the amazing resources of such beautiful souls such as: Marie Forleo, Danielle LaPorte, Laura Belgray and Gabrielle Bernstein to name a few. I have sincere appreciation for the support, encouragement, and love each of you share in helping me live more authentic, pursuing a life long dream of entrepreneurship and making a difference. I look forward to starting and growing my business with purpose and profit, because I “deserve a business and life I love” and “the world needs that special gift that only I have”. My blessings run deep and wide and my heart is full with gratitude. Thank you again – I’m off the change my life – and change the world.

  270. Deanna Heier

I am so blessed. 🙂 Satya talking about being busy, really busy, really hit home. Being busy is a blessing all its itself. Having two wonderfully brilliant, strong and funny children. Blessed that they are healthy and active with all of their fun activities that we do day in and day out. Having a job as a college instructor that I love and am able to effect student’s lives in positive ways everyday. I feel blessed that I also get to teach as an online faculty member to Bartonline.org as well. Many of these students are current or former military men and women; it is so fantastic that I am able to provide them a service for their service to our country. I have a terrific husband who is my security blanket and keeps me grounded. I would be lost without him. I have had trial’s that have occurred throughout my life, especially the last 6 years, but I feel truly blessed about the opportunities and strength that I have found through these heartaches and challenges. I know I am a stronger and more compassionate person because of them, which is a blessing.
Thanks Marie for all you do!

  271. Susanne

I feel blessed when I recognize that my words and action have waves and touch someone in a way that helps them recognize their own self and light within. It’s one of the most wonderful gifts and I hide it from myself so often, but when I can be open and full of that lovely light of gratitude, I can see the beauty of that circle of exchange – and I feel blessed! <3
And the jewelry is purely delicious!

  272. Linda Kelley

You are awesome, Marie! So inspiring, SO funny, and incredibly encouraging. I am grateful that on Oct. 23rd, I will be celebrating my 32nd “bonus year” of life after a plane crash in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego. My two friends, who were also in the plane, and I swam 8 hours (7:15pm-3:20am) until we were rescued by the tuna boat that was on its way to fish. Little did they know we’d be their first catch! I have a beautiful 11 yr old son, an amazing husband, and we all have our good health, which I am so grateful for. My professional life is changing by design, so I always look forward to your emails. Thank you for the encouragement to move forward with gusto and to live life to its fullest every single “bonus” day.

  273. I feel blessed because my husband and I have been struggling having a child but before we knew this, God gave us a puppy (which I NEVER wanted) and she has become my love and I am so grateful to have her while we continue trying to have a baby. I feel blessed to have the desire and talents to help people through photography and help them appreciate who they are and their life as it is.

  274. Hey Marie,

Something that makes me feel blessed is the fact that I have an incredible partner that supports me in every way possible. I am so grateful for his attention, and how much he cares for me. We been together for 1 year and 10 months. On December 31st (New Years Eve) we celebrate our 2 year anniversary!

It has been so important for me to have someone so special by my side, since I started my journey of being an entrepreneur, last year with B-School. I am an Event Planner for small business owners. And thanks to your wisdom and inspiration I’m moving forward with my journey. I know help women plan meaningful workshops/seminars in which they can showcase their creativity to the world.

I’m also blessed because of you Marie. I am so greatful for the work that you do in this world, and the impact you had made in my life. You have pushed me to be better, and work my ass off, all to help that person that will one day need of my help.

I believe that giving is the ultimate purpose we are looking to fulfill in our lives. So I started small, by giving to my local community hospital 5% of my income to help children with schizophrenia. I just started last month, and as my journey continue I hope to increase my donations as well.

Thank you so much for your courage, your enthusiasm and your spirit.

    XOXO
    Janet Soriano

  275. I feel blessed because of my incredibly supportive family, the availability of healthcare to address a chronic health issue. The entire community of Yoga to the People for supporting me during one of the hardest summers of my life. Also for providing the tutelage and skills to become a yoga teacher, something I can truly give honestly and unreservedly to others. And to the most inspiring, kind hearted man who fills me with such pride and awe, and imparts a love like no other. For being an example of hard work, dedication, service, and contributing to a community. For running into places everyone else runs out of.

  276. Bridget Levens

So much separation from myself. Like many others, I was raised to believe that parts of me were good and other parts were bad. In an effort to get acceptance from my father, I rejected parts of me that I saw that he didn’t like and it created a huge barrier between me and my truth. And even more importantly, created a pattern where I made decisions against myself . I saw myself as a victim and wondered why so many things were clearly “off” and just not flowing in the way I had once known life to flow as a child. It wasn’t until yoga where I started to wake up and question my thoughts and my beliefs and started asking myself, “is that really true?”. So many times the answer was “no” and freedoms became instantaneous. Perspective shifts are everywhere. With an open mind and a grateful heart, truth, blessings, and synchronicity are in everything.

  277. Such beautiful meaning behind these lovely pieces — they are perfect reminders of the power of abundance and intuition.

I feel immeasurably blessed to do work that fulfills me creatively, and that I am able to earn a living at something that helps people and allows me to serve. As someone who grew up in a household where everything to do with money revolved around scarcity, it’s been a journey to get to a place where I not only feel deserving of money, nice things, etc but also worthy of charging what I should based on the value I provide my clients. It’s still something I struggle with daily, but thanks to B-School and following Marie TV I’ve definitely made big strides in my personal money mindset and in my business!!

Thank you for all the work you do and I hope you know how much of an impact your work makes on others. You’ve given us an incredible model of how offering value and sharing authentically will bring you great rewards! May you #beblessed 🙂

  278. Megan

Reasons why I think I’m blessed? Every day I get up and run! As a child who grew up with asthma and lots of allergies, being outside was not for me. Until I grew up and started leaning on running to make me feel good, to make me feel at peace with my body, I didn’t know how lucky I would feel to be able to run marathons. I didn’t know how blessed I could feel to run through lakefront paths, nature walks, and new places every day. I love how my face gets flushed when I’m done. I am so lucky to have a heart that works so hard to keep me going and legs that keep moving when my head says no, you should quit! This is why I feel blessed.

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

What freedom! You make me want to go on an adventure run, Megan.

  279. Carrie

Thank you for sharing your story. I can relate to it in so many ways. I had a gymnastics program for inner city youthe for many years. Helping children with these skills was amazing to see the transformations you spoke about with anthony. I ran this program was my world with my best friend and soul mate. She passed from breast cancer and I walked away from this amazing program because it was impossible to do with out her. She was my Ying to my yang. When she past a part of me died too. I am finally getting my life back to were it needs to be. Again thanks for sharing. I am rebuilding my village. Though it is not the same. Your have reminded me it is worth the work. Thanks

  280. Heba El-Hakim

    Dear Marie,

Lately I have been feeling blessed so when I received your email this morning it truly resonated and I felt compelled to open it first thing. When I got to the part where you mentioned having totems around you to ground you to your truth I immediately thought that jewelry does that with me too especially lovely pieces of timeless jewelry. I don’t own much jewelry but it’s the one thing I truly love receiving because wearing them makes me feel like I am describing who I am and what I am all about through that piece of jewelry. It’s so personal it’s true.

Throughout B-School 2015 you helped me discover that all I want to do for my website/blog is speak my truth and embrace the authentic me all. the. time. In fact my tagline will be along the lines of “Living your truth, embracing you”. No more pretending to be something I am not, no trying to fit in, no trying to accomplish something just because someone else did and I feel I can do the same because why can they and not me, no trying to hide or repress emotions but speak them loud and clear instead. This has been my journey in the past year and a half and the reason why I feel so blessed. I feel blessed because I am slowly able to realise that I am a constantly evolving human being and I don’t have to ever be perfect to be loved, to be good enough. I’m just so blessed for even coming to that awareness that anything I’ve been through whether good or bad has shaped me into who I am today and repressing my emotions or not communicating them has been my “downfall” so to speak. After a year of psycho-dynamic therapy, and now 3 more sessions left under my wings before closing that chapter, I feel I have totally come into my true self. With new awareness, I am ready to truly honor myself, my feelings, my thoughts and my emotions. I already feel my relationship getting better with my darling husband who dotes on me, I feel I am helping my daughter grow to be an amazing communicator of her feelings and emotions, I feel my other personal relationships grow more authentically and organically rather than feel forced or fake. I also feel people are finally seeing the real me and connecting to me on deeper levels rather than keep conversation at superficial levels. This only happened when I told myself: “Heba, forget about anything that’s not you, embrace who you are and always but ALWAYS speak your truth and don’t be afraid to let your guard down, what’s the worse that can happen?”. It actually works. When you speak your truth people see you better and they feel comfortable to approach you because they see something radiating in you that they would like to feel and grasp. You won’t even have to try hard to connect with others on a deeper level when you reach this point. It will just naturally occur.

I am truly blessed in that regard and I am deeply grateful for every single person that has been put in my path for this personal homecoming. I am grateful for every personal development and skills up-leveling program I got in line with that helped shape my ideas and reinvent myself (B-School, Copy Cure, Leadership programs and others too many to count here). I am in deeper gratitude and feel so blessed for the chance I got to reconnect with my family in my own childhood home during the entire month of September after 3 years of absence (I live in Melbourne, Australia with my 4-year old daughter and husband but made the long trip back home to Montreal, Canada where I was born and raised to see my family and have them connect with my daughter). I feel blessed for the year and a half that I had with my therapist for she helped me see the light in all my situations and become aware of my thoughts and emotions once I voiced them out. Only in communicating out loud can we then begin to process our thoughts, our emotions and what we focus on amplifies. I had all of these realizations and more in 2015 which has truly been a year all about self-discovery. I’m still on the journey and never really want to get off this train. It’s really fun when you come closer to your authentic self. This was the year I decided to speak my truth and I will have a website to toot by the end of the year sharing all my thoughts and personal stories. I can’t wait! I feel truly blessed.

I truly loved this episode; I loved hearing Satya’s journey and everything I do is done with pure intention so this episode truly resonated with me. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Thank you for your beautiful share.

I feel blessed by self awareness I realize everything from young children to animals to plants to the universe has a connection with all of us even though they may not speak. It is important for me to acknowledge the love, intentions and possibilities within all non verbal communication. This is a powerful spot to connect because it’s so pure. I give with my heart the energy of love and apology for others who do not see this. If you think about each space: young children, animals, plants, universe the same excitement and warmth comes over you as you observe and trade thoughts. I feel blessed for understanding this. Thank You

  282. What struck me the most was, If your intension is pure the universe will open up every door. After hearing that it’s as though a weight has been lifted. I have great faith and know that God has got my back, but it always helps to hear it again and again. I want to buy a house and fear has been holding me back, but knowing that I’ve come this far, the universe/God will continue to be there for me. Blessings… I’ve been blessed with so much, great family & friends, a career I love & a beautiful daughter. But what mean the most to me is all of the lessons I’ve learned in my darkest times. We tend to shy away from the negative, the heartbreak, but that is where you find your truest self.

  283. Sherri

The line you’ve created is elegant and simply beautiful. I am blessed because I am here and I am loved.

  284. I love the collaboration, every piece is beautiful! I’m blessed because I’m able to start a business with my best friend and we have loads inspiration from tons of savvy and successful women.

  285. I LOVE LOVE Satya Jewelry. I’ve been shopping there for years. THANK YOU Marie for this beautiful and insightful interview. Best of luck to you on this exciting adventure! xo, m

  286. I am blessed because I get to live with my grandparents as an adult and experience them as people in their old age. Because of their sacrifices and life long hard work, I have the chance to create a business and life that I love, and they get to watch me do it. Women in my family have always had to put others first. But my life is different. I get to be exactly who I want to be. I am so blessed. And my end of the bargain is to shine my light on everyone I meet.

  287. A couple of years ago, my world fell apart when my husband left me for another woman. I had been with him since I was 17 and found myself alone for the first time in my adult life. During his affair, he bought me what I would call a “guilt” lens for my camera. Determined to make it on my own, I started using that lens to take photos that inspired me during my divorce and helped me grow as a photographer. Although I think it has been wise to try all genres of photography to explore, I keep going back to one style- boudoir. I really love the idea of creating images that can make a woman feel empowered and give them the ability to see themselves as the amazing being that they are. This is rewarding for both the client and myself – a total win-win! I started following Christa Meola (she is now my mentor even if she doesn’t know it!) and then I found you, Marie! You have helped me tap into my creativity and my fear and I know I can do this! In the first minute of this video, I had a vision. I AM going to participate in one of Christa’s workshops. I AM going to soak up all her wisdom like a sponge. And then, I AM going to get in front of her camera, wearing nothing but Satya jewelry. The idea of being ultimately vulnerable with the power of Satya jewelry and the direction of Christa Meola just sounds like the ultimate experience for me. I have prompted Christa to travel to the Northern California Wine Country to do a workshop. If she cannot make it here, I will just have to travel to New York, to make it happen. I am done with life making decisions for me. I am taking control of what I want to in this world, thanks to you Marie, and all of the amazing speakers you have had on the show!

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Love that path you’re on, Karen, and how you’re following your intuition from one step to the next starting with using that lens.

  288. I feel so blessed and thankful that I have three amazing men in my life cheering and supporting me on my journey to reinvent myself and chase my dreams at 45! Who are they? My partner, my dad and my 13 year old son who tells me every day, ‘Mama, I believe in you- you can do this!’ Listening to inspiring women like Satya and all the beautiful women before her on Marie TV, inspire me to keep moving forward and listen to my heart and soul. I also feel blessed for my lovely B-School sisters for their unconditional support, love and ideas- it truly does take a village!
Thanks Marie and team Forleo for all that you do and the impact you have on so many lives. Xxx

  289. “I can do this” is such a great mantra and one I need to incorporate daily! My blessings are many – in fact, even those things that don’t appear to be blessings at this moment I know will prove their value in time. My favorite blessings are my family & friends & the gorgeous location I am privileged to live in (the BVI). High vibrations around me bless me with the ability to vibrate at my highest.

  290. Jimena

I feel blessed every single day because when I walke up I know I have the choice to live my life fully and with purpose. I can honour this by becoming more myself and creating a life with courage, humility and passion.
Thank you for an inspiring video.

  291. I am very grateful for receiving your email today and the gift of your video – this in and of itself is a gift and a blessing. My life is so wonderfully full and blessed that I honestly rarely watch the videos that come into my inbox. I am blessed to live in a beautiful place in Colorado, with a loving husband of 21 years 2 healthy and amazing daughters, and I am blessed to serve with the education and rehabilitation of young women and children who have been rescued from or at risk of being trafficked. Working with Made By Survivors has changed my life for the better and being with the children in India has made everything I do more meaningful so that I can give back to them and help others. I loved your mention of creating a mantra. Mine is “I am Enough.” I believe that is what Satya came to during her yoga retreat. She didn’t need to have all the answers. She was enough and wow, look what she has created. You are both mental equivalents for me to keep on showing up and creating a life that I love. Thank you.

  292. Hi marie I love the collection its beautiful I love the heart, inspiration and thought behind naming the jewelry. Me personally I’m in search for my purpose and I to have been working on something near and, dear to my heart and that is supporting pregnancy and infant loss awareness. Winning one of your pieces would mean to much to me at this point in my life. I find you to be so positive and inspiring and watching your videos has helped me greatly. My goal is to inspire and impact others by giving them hope and share their stories. Thx marie

  293. Mateja

Just being born is a gift. The miracles that are there all around us, the guidance, help, and support we receive to let us know what is the proper path for us if we only dare and care to listen, these are all the gifts that make me feel blessed.

  294. Can’t help it. Feeling so badass right now!

  295. I love this challenge! I feel blessed when I walk through my Brooklyn neighborhood because I’m so grateful and thankful to be able to live in such beautiful and inspirational brownstone surroundings after wanting to support myself to be able to afford living here for years. I feel blessed when someone I coached reached their health goals or feel less stressed because it reminds me that I’m doing my dream job working for a dream company from home. I also feel blessed when my boyfriend goes out of his way to help me – whether that be grocery shopping, helping me carry things, or calling me to say that he misses me – because these actions remind me that he completely accepts me for who I am, faults, flaws, and all. Finally, I feel blessed when I look at the amount of money in my bank account, because I’m grateful that I’m financially self-sufficient since setting out for my dream of living in New York City 3 years ago to be a full-time Health Coach!

  296. I feel blessed to have experienced a spiritual awakening. It has caused me to be still & look within and as a result I’ve made big (and difficult) changes in many areas of my life. It’s also brought some amazing people into my life. All things come at the right time, space and sequence. Today’s share is so timely; affirming that I too, am on the right path. Beautiful story of personal transformation & a beautiful product because of it.

  297. In 2012, I experienced the darkest months of my life. The best way I can describe clinical depression is that I was riding an elevator up and then the bottom dropped out and I kept falling down the shaft. I was on a different level of consciousness (not in the good way), where things make zero sense.

Finding joy in absolutely nothing, loathing being awake, not wanting to be around anyone I love because I didn’t want them to see me so miserable…

I could not understand how this could happen to someone who so believes in the power of positivity and good intentions.

So… insomnia and paranoia brought up deep-seated beliefs of impossibility for romantic love.

It was after I experienced a life-saving Reike session that I was able to finally talk about this stuff and work through it.

After surrendering to the truth, I started to sleep again. I started having love and respect for myself, not just as the kind go-getting badass, but as a soul. I started training for a 5K–something I NEVER considered a possibility–me? run? lolololol!

Guess what happened 4 weeks after I started honoring my inner light? I said “yes” to a blind date with the incredible human being I have now shared the last 3 years with. This was no coincidence.

It was only when I surrendered–was willing to feel things I’d stuffed down too long–that the universe sent David my way.

While it was the darkest time of my life, I’m grateful for it. I’m blessed that: my family stood by me when I was unrecognizable; Randy saved my life through Reike; Dr. Behrman offered insight as I opened up; David accepted me and loved me in ways I did not know existed; and I can share this with you today 🙂

    • Chelsea - Team Forleo

Surrendering is a beautiful thing. Thank you for sharing this.

  298. They say that our weaknesses are our greatest strengths. That is not an easy thing for many of us to reconcile when that weakness presents itself as physical pain.

I was born with a spinal condition which at the time was diagnosed as, spondolysthesis. A complicated name, but over time has meant that my vertebrae are improperly stacked. As a teenager this meant a plastic corset for stabilization and lots of physical therapy. As an adult it meant prednisone, muscle relaxants, and lengthy, expensive healing processes to resume “normal” activities. And, those normal activities simply involved a desk job and uninspiring physical exercise, i.e., minimize any vigorous activity in favor of more restorative exercise and always keep your core strong.

Enter yoga in my life. Recommended to me by a therapist after biofeedback, I first laughed at the idea of yoga. Although I had bouts of acute pain, I have always been a runner at heart. But, in my mid-20’s I was desperate to do anything that would get me off the medication that was making me feel “dead inside”. So, I tried yoga. And, it helped me heal.

Fast-forward 13 years, and my husband and I operate two yoga studios. We have a teaching team of about 30 incredible teachers who offer classes rooted in a deep respect for the yoga philosophy, but also offer a physical challenge for students who don’t have time for multiple physical “workout” modalities. And, we have built an amazing, supportive community of yoga practitioners, who are ambassadors of health and wellness in our larger community. Oh, and I’m off all pain meds, including any ibuprofen, ever.

I can sincerely say that my weakness has become my greatest strength. And, for all of the lessons physical pain has taught me, today I live a life that is more than blessed.

    Thank you for reading!

  299. I LOVED this interview- it reflects my own path- I too started as a social worker with a passion to help others and I am an artist who now helps more through my art and my art teaching than I ever did as a mental health therapist/social worker!

I see how people change when I lead them into = making art in the same way as Satya observed with Yoga. And I create art that is intuitive and healing. I am grateful to have a creative partner in love and life who is passionate about his own art and what we create together in business and life. I am blessed to have a creative son who is part of our lives…. I am grateful to be able to live a life steeped in creativity and fueled by love.

  300. Completely blown away by your interview with Satya. It was one of those High-Five-from-The-Universe moments for me on so many levels.

I’m starting a business I had an inspiration for that, on a physical level, I am totally unqualified to do. I should say WAS totally unqualified to do. (Like Satya and her jewelery.) Between your videos, B-School, etc., etc., etc. I am learning that you are right: Everything really is Figure-Out-able.
Still, a lot of my work is soothing and/or ignoring any and all inner-voices of negativity and just continuing to look for the Next Right Piece of Work to do.

My motivation has stayed high because my goals not only involve making enough money to quit my day job, I am genuinely STOKED by the idea of employing a lot of local actors, and helping to put food on local tables. That helps me to (mainly) focus forward.

I won’t tell the whole story, but my husband calls me Suki. Yesterday part of my soothing that allowed me to stay focused was to listen to chanting music. I love yoga (like Satya) and came upon George Harrison’s Be Happy and Chant through some yoga connections.

A line caught my ear: Sukhi Attanam. I googled the Chant of Metta. (Chant of Loving Kindness) and discovered that
Sukhi (in Pali) means: Happy, BLESSED, healthy,
    and Attanam means: Clear oneself.
So, the chant was saying: May I take care of myself happily. 🙂
The message I got from that was:
Focus not on what I can’t do, but what I am learning to do, and Trust Myself, already!
AND Ask for some freakin’ help! (…like Satya!)

Your interview felt truly affirming to my path.
Thank you for all that you do.
I am truly blessed by you, and truly grateful.
    Thank you Marie, and Satya!

  301. Maya-Lin Green

My biggest take away were don’t do it yourself, it takes a team! And also that we can be fearless in our dreams and its never too early to give back. As a young mother (just 25) who is building a heart-centered enterprise and does not currently have a typical 9-5 job, I receive a lot of support from my fiancè who makes substantially more than I do. I often feel a sense of shame and lack because of this. The truth is, we are building a business and a family together! Without him and his support I would not be able to do what I am doing now. On my own it would look and feel much different. I feel in order to be independent I must not accept help from him or anyone else, that it makes me weak and small. This dialogue often keeps me from graciously accepting the help I have with my daughter, financially, and in the TREMENDOUS amount of emotional support and love he gives me everyday. Not only from him, but from the driven and supportive women who are in my life now. This was a beautiful reminder. Create a team, be grateful, and keep it pointed towards the intention. Beautiful! I love your videos, thank you thank you for delivering daily inspiration.

  302. I feel blessed when I remember that my identity isn’t found in what I do, but who I am. #BeBlessed is not a product of outside circumstances but rather an internal knowledge that you have worth, that you belong, that you are enough, and that (as Marie would say) you have a special something the world needs – that only you can give.
Personally, I recognize I’m blessed when I take time to practice gratitude. To thank God for the friends and family who help support me and love me every single day. And to even #BeBlessed by trials that help me grow and increasingly remind me to get back to the core of my identity: I’m blessed because I’m loved, and I don’t have to do anything to earn that. And neither do you!

  303. I loved this episode! I have four sisters and one brother and growing up on a farm raising 2000 sheep, we learned that you had to work hard, but we also learned to do it all by ourselves. The unintentional lessons we learned shaped our lives that yes we could do it, but we could not rely on others to do it as well or as quickly as we could ourselves. This has caused us to stop ourselves from getting out their and sharing our gifts with the world in a big way. I really took to heart about asking for help. I am so blessed to have a very close relationship with two of my sisters and when I did ask for help, they were both there for me. I am a Lifestyle Designer and what was talked about today has really got me to thinking about who I can partner with and how we can help each other. Thank you for the boost I needed today?

  304. I feel so blessed because I get to do what I love and make a difference in people’s lives. I’ve always written books that–I hope!–help empower women. Now I also teach online classes helping other writers find their voice and passion. And one of my newest enterprises is to create books for people like my 38 year old son who has Down Syndrome using my adopted shelter dog, Sophy. Reading has always been so much a part of my life that I want my son and others like him to be able to discover that joy as well and there are very few books out there he can and wants to read. I’m so blessed because it’s Down Syndrome Awareness month and so many people are helping me get out the word that I’ve made one of those ebooks free for the month of October. I am blessed to be able to do these things and know they can make a difference. I am also blessed to have a wonderful daughter who also makes a difference in the world–first by working on hybrid cars and now doing bioengineering that may help save lives. She has a wonderful wife who is a blessing in my life, too. I am blessed my Down Syndrome son has a place in a wonderful group home and so many people in my ex-husband’s family to care about both him and my daughter. I am blessed.

  305. I love hearing Satya’s story, how she listened to her intuition and created a path of doing what she feels called to do while also helping others. Very inspiring!
I AM BLESSED because love surrounds me and I’ve been able to create a business that reflects my passion for health and wellness. I am so grateful for all the support I have had in following my heart and creating my practice. From my husband who believes in me, encourages me and takes on much of the financial responsibility in our home while I build my practice, to all of the angels in my life that have guided me. I know I wouldn’t be here without them. It is a blessing to have the freedom to align my profession with my true self and share the gifts of healing with others. My heart is full of gratitude that I have this opportunity to serve others, that I have a roof over my head, healthy food to eat, my health, and a supportive tribe.

  306. I am so blessed to have to have an amazing Partner in life and business. She helped me get through a really difficult time in my life. The sudden passing of my mother both my sister and I as well and many people that loved her. My Partner Jolie, immediately stepped up and became my rock. I have a history of depression and this was something I knew would send me spiraling back down into my whole. But she wouldn’t let me. She literally got me out of bed when I didn’t want to, and kept a positive space for me that allowed me to also grieve for my mother. It’s hard to put in words the incredible bond we now have because of this, but I am truly truly grateful. We are now on our journey of running a beautiful business where we hand-pour soy candles. This is also something I am dearly grateful for because it has literally shifted our lives for the better. We have so many supportive people around us that believe in us and our message. We’re living a life of passion and purpose and it’s beyond amazing! <3

I’m blessed because I get to spend my days with two gorgeous souls that I am honored to call my daughters. I am blessed because my body housed them as they developed their armor for the outside world. I am blessed because my body was able to deliver them so that their light could shine here on earth. I’m blessed because I get lots of smiles, cuddles, hugs, jokes, and laughter that fill up the time we share together. I’m blessed because although my body has had to deal with post partum injuries that have taken away pieces of who I am due to pain, it has been filled up with love from these tiny hands.

  308. I am blessed to work every day with many people who are making positive changes and big differences in our world. In my capacity as their astrologer, we talk about the challenges, promises and potential they have to change the world as described by their natal chart. They talk about their hopes, dreams, passions and how to overcome their fears to live their best life. My job makes me sing and dance with joy every day!

If it is in your heart, it is in your chart!
