We’re Hiring: Conversion Copywriter (Remote – Freelance)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Writing subject lines, headlines, thumbnails, and email sequences that drive opens, clicks, and conversions
  • Crafting nurture content, show descriptions, and in-program materials that deepen connection and reinforce transformation
  • Developing sales pages, landing pages, webinar and VSL scripts, and ad copy that converts
  • Supporting new product builds with program copy and onboarding flows
  • Remixing and optimizing proven assets for stronger performance
  • Using AI tools to ideate and accelerate drafts while adding specific details, voice, story, and nuance 
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to test and deliver copy that fuels the business

This Role Is Perfect for You If You…

  • Have a proven track record of writing copy that drives revenue — and you’ve got data, results, and case studies to prove it
  • Have experience writing across the full marketing lifecycle — not just front-end sales, but ongoing customer experience
  • Love online business, offer design, personal development, and obsess over how to communicate big ideas with power and clarity
  • Are fluent in AI tools but never let them lead — you shape the output with strong strategy and impeccable taste
  • Hit deadlines without drama and love being challenged to grow
  • Are happy to jump into any copywriting need — from a critical launch to a new member welcome email — and bring your A-game every time
  • Respect feedback, love testing, and view performance metrics as creative fuel

Performance Expectations:

  • Every email has a goal and your copy helps us hit it
  • Every subject line earns the open
  • Every landing page improves performance and you know what to test next
  • Every asset either drives revenue, grows our list, or deepens customer connection… ideally all three
  • You don’t wait for assignments — you bring smart ideas and strategic copy angles to the table
  • AI can help you move faster, however you are the creative director, strategist, fact checker and final gatekeeper — nothing gets shipped without your eyes, brain, and standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years writing high-performing direct response copy — preferably in online education, coaching, or digital product businesses
  • 2+ years experience writing nurture sequences, in-platform content, or program-based copy
  • You’ve written sales pages, VSLs, and email funnels that convert
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through in a remote work environment
  • Comfortable working across time zones, especially EST (Marie is based in New York)

Bonus Points If:

  • You’ve taken B-School, Time Genius, or The Copy Cure
  • You’ve read Everything is Figureoutable
  • You’ve worked with other 7–9 figure online brands or thought leaders
  • You can knock out headlines and subject lines in batches and still make every one count
  • You’re energized by fast feedback loops and creative problem-solving
