What do you do when you feel completely useless and alone

It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, how many friends you have, or how “successful” you may appear. We all feel disconnected from time to time. And if we listen to (and believe) the voice in our head, we can quickly spiral down into darkness.

But as Eckhart Tolle teaches us, “You have a mind but you are not your mind.”

In this MarieTV, I answer a 15-year-old girl’s question that touched my heart. She was struggling with something all of us wrestle with.

You’ll learn three ways you can get back on track anytime you forget your intrinsic value and question your worth in this world.

Watch now and learn:

  • The daily habit I started at age 17 that’s completely changed my life.
  • How to silence your inner critic — and stop feeling so alone.
  • My surefire way to change your energy, fast, to get out of a funk.

If you ever struggle with self-doubt or feelings of worthlessness, this episode is for you.

DIVE DEEPER: Learn all about my personal meditation practice and how you can get started, too.

Now, I’d love to hear from you. Today’s insight-to-action step has two parts.

  1. Did you feel like Ajah when you were fifteen? Do you ever feel that way now? In a comment below, let us know how you deal with W-KRAP radio. (That's what I call the station in your head constantly saying crap about you that’s not true!)
  1. Extra credit! Comment below, or post on social media with the hashtag #5GreatThings and give a heartfelt shout-out to someone you love. Share five great things you appreciate about who they are.

Seriously, take a few minutes to show appreciation for someone in your life today. Express those wonderful qualities you may often think, but rarely say. And while you’re at it, give yourself five compliments, too.

Because every human being longs to be valued, understood, and appreciated — including you.

Thanks so much for making this one of the most inspiring, fun, and supportive places in the digital Universe.

P.S. This is an episode that you may want to share with your closest friends and clients — especially those who could use a little boost of encouragement as they’re building their dreams!
