I can’t help it.
I’m obsessed with finding methods that help me get more done, in less time and with less stress.
Partly, because my brain just doesn’t quit. It’s like a 4-year old who just ate 3 brownies.
There are soooo many things I want to create, see, learn, read, watch, and experience — that if I don’t give myself daily support and structure, I’d spontaneously combust.
The other reason is my ever-changing schedule. Between travel, shooting and the constant ebb and flow of life — there’s no “typical” day.
And, let’s be honest. As much as my inner good-girl dreams of having a set, uber-productive schedule (Snoozing by 11pm, meditating by 7am Marie!)…
My inner real-girl needs her chance to dance in the sunshine too. “Wait — what time is it. 1am? Of course we can watch another episode of Orange is The New Black!”
On today’s MarieTV, learn one of my most simple productivity habits for making sure I get the right things done everyday — no matter how wacky my schedule is.

Most of us work really, really hard to make good things happen in life.
We put in long hours. We take risks. We keep the faith. We constantly work on our craft. We put ourselves out there and do our best to serve others.
But once you start experiencing success, do you ever worry about losing it?
What if everyone stops buying? What if I just can’t keep creating magic? What if people get bored of me (my talents/products/services) and I become yesterday’s news?
It doesn’t matter how positive or spiritual you are, or how diligently you work, because our brains have ancient circuitry called negativity bias. Meaning, we tend to give more attention and weight to negative thoughts than positive ones.
If you find worries about it all “slipping away” mounting in your mind over and over again, there are concrete steps you can take to neutralize them.
In today’s episode of MarieTV, you’ll learn three simple and effective keys for how to deal with the fear of losing it all.

Before we dive into today’s MarieTV episode, a heads up in case you or anyone you know may be in NYC this week.
Since I’ve been working on some new projects, I haven’t been able to do much public speaking lately. When folks ask if I have any live events on the calendar, I often feel bad because the answer is usually no.
But this Wednesday March 12th, I’ll be speaking at Town Hall in NYC in support of my dear friend, the legendary Marianne Williamson.
All the details are here and if it works in your schedule, I’d love to meet you in person.
Now onto this week’s topic, which is something many of us struggle with — especially highly creative, multipassionate folks.
Do you have trouble articulating the big vision you’re working towards?
Do you ever wonder if you need to start with a clear vision of your end goal in order to create success?
While some people are laser focused on where they’re headed, many I know dread being asked about their five year plan.
If you ever wonder about whether you really need to “begin with the end in mind” this week’s episode is for you.

Where there’s just an enormous amount of things to accomplish — so much so that you’re both a bit scared, and excited, to get it done?
I’m in one of those weeks right now.
Thankfully, it’s all good stuff going on.
There’s just a volume that’s unusually high, even for me.

On today’s episode of MarieTV, learn a simple-yet-effective one word change that can help you be more productive, no matter what you’ve got going on.

The past few years, I felt like Christmas came and went in a hot second.
I was always so darn busy that I never really experienced the holidays.
So this year, I decided to make a conscious change.
Work appointments are nearly done. My window boxes are filled with lush evergreen swag and pinecones. Claymation Christmas specials are recorded on my DVR.
As I’m writing you, I’m listening to classic Christmas tunes from Pandora, white lights twinkle around my desk and my home is filled with the woodsy scent of Siberian Fir needles from my favorite cozy candle, Frasier Fir by Thymes.
I gotta tell you, small changes can make a big difference in how deeply you experience the holidays, and your life.
Now let’s dive into another simultaneously exciting and frightening prospect…
THE END OF THE WORLD!!
