7 Lessons Learned from 256 Episodes of MarieTV

Holy pumpkins, time flies. When I checked the calendar, it was hard to believe that we’re in our fifth year of writing and producing MarieTV. That’s 256 episodes and counting!

Throughout this experience, I’ve learned some hard-won lessons that I wanted to pass along to you.

3 Branding Ideas You Can Learn From Artifact Uprising

Just got back from a sweet little trip to Portland, Oregon. Hadn’t been there since I was a Nike Master Trainer years ago.

But unlike earlier visits, this time I had more of a chance to enjoy the city and culture — which is AWESOME!!

Dazzling hikes in the forest, mouth-watering meals and great conversations made it a pretty spectacular weekend.

One thing I really appreciated was the heart and humanity I felt throughout the city — especially from small businesses.

From tiny food carts to huge antique shops to a brand new boutique built entirely around artisan butter

There was a strong sense of local pride and love baked into every offering.

And in my opinion, boldly expressing the heart and soul of your business makes a tremendous difference — to yourself, your team, your customers and the world.

What If People Can Learn Everything I Teach For Free Online?

A few months ago, Sonya sent in a super smart question for MarieTV. Here’s the gist:

There’s so much free information online about what I teach. So why would anyone pay me for my online course?

Gotta say, I love this question. First, because I spend the vast majority of my time (at least 80%) producing the most outstanding free content I possibly can.

Not only do I run an education based business myself, but I personally invest a substantial amount of time and money in my own ongoing education. I’m a lifelong learner and a lot of times, I’m buying some learning program online.

So I see this “fear” about selling information online in the age of “free everything!” from all perspectives.
