How To Do It All: My Unconventional Advice to Fit It All In

Today’s episode may fall under TMI and, admittedly, my approach may seem crass to some.

But it’s my honest answer to what appears to be a staple of modern life: a massive and ever increasing pressure to do more, be more, create more and achieve more.

Between all the things you ‘should’ be doing to be your best (meditation, juicing, working out, etc.) and the professional demands on your time (writing, selling, marketing, working, social media, etc.), and the responsibility you have to family, kids, pets and friends…

It’s no wonder many of us feel like we’re barely staying above water. That’s why I was excited to hear from Angela, who wants to know my personal method for getting everything done.

When you know what’s important, it's a lot easier to ignore what’s not. Click To Tweet

While we’ve talked about productivity a lot before (and will continue to) I’ve never answered in a way that was quite so personal.

*Headphone alert for parents watching with kiddos or readers watching at work. Some bleeped out explicit rap lyrics appear in this episode.

While we had a lot of fun making this one, don’t let the good times gloss over the importance of the message. This episode shines a spotlight on one of the most crucial building blocks of living a full and meaningful life. A lesson that sadly, most of us don’t learn until it’s far too late.

You must know what’s truly most important to you and live accordingly.

How To Turn Negative Vibes Into Positive Fuel

We’ve had this episode shot and in our editorial calendar for a few months now.

I’m still in awe of how our advanced planning of MarieTV somehow seems to energetically line up with what’s happening globally, and very often on a personal level for you, our audience.

Even my close friends say, “Marie, how do you always seem to know exactly what I’m going through?!”

While this particular Q&A has to do with a pretty common human experience, I can’t help but notice that this simple practice may — albeit in the smallest way — help us as we collectively strive to create positive social change both here in the US and around the world.

Pain, suffering and injustice are all around us. Like you, I see things on the news that anger me, break my heart and boggle my mind (and not in a good way).

However, I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox to stay connected to our humanity, the more equipped we’ll be create real and lasting change.

So today, learn a simple tool you can use whenever the pain around you feels overwhelming.

Can’t Turn Off Your Biz Self? 2 Quick Steps To Flip The Switch.

Sometimes in life, our greatest strengths can also become our Achilles’ heel. Especially when it comes to our drive and focus at work.

Being ambitious is awesome. But constant connectivity through smart phones and social media does make it challenging to disconnect.

And left unchecked, being in “work mode” all the time can wreak havoc on your relationships.

Both the masculine & feminine must be brought into consciousness. - M. Harding Click To Tweet

In fact, a few years back, it caused some serious problems for me. And while it’s something that requires consistent awareness, I can say I’m 1,000% better at shutting down than I used to be.

That’s why I wanted to answer the question about what I personally do to mentally and physically change gears once the work day is done.

Now THIS is a topic I’ve been itching to cover for a long time. In fact, I’ve gotten countless emails, questions and comments about it . . .

But here’s the problem. I’m not fully qualified to address it.

To be fair, I do have some experience in this department, as you’ll hear, but it ain’t nothing compared to what some of you are working to navigate each and every day.

Here’s just a sample of what inspired today’s episode:
