Before we dive into this week’s show, a huge thank you for the love about last week’s episode of Unplugged. I sincerely appreciate the support — 880+ comments, texts, emails and ridiculous enthusiasm on social. If you’re an MF Insider, you’ll get a heads up when the next one drops ?

On to today’s episode.

Do you ever feel like you might be too old to launch a new career, start a business or dive into a creative endeavor?

No matter what your age, this is a very common issue. When I write and produce MarieTV, I sift through thousands of questions and I can say unequivocally that folks in their 20s all the way through their 70s battle this ‘I’m too old’ fear.

The easy response is “It’s never too late.” But sometimes, it’s hard to become what you don’t see. Which is why I got very excited when Lynn wrote in because she was struggling to find female role models who launched something new and meaningful later in life.

Even though Lynn asked about successful female entrepreneurs, my research uncovered some remarkable late bloomer success stories from women across a variety of fields.

If you ever let the fear of being too old stop you from starting something new, watch this now. You’ll meet 10 inspiring women who prove that age ain’t nothing but a number.

Program note: I wrote a new tweetable after we shot this episode. If you prefer to share the one from the video, here it is: Any age is the perfect age to follow your dream.

Collectively we need to do a better job of recognizing, respecting and celebrating women at every stage of life.

This whole episode was sparked by Lynn’s desire to see other women launching big things in their 60s, 70s and beyond. We shared a starter list, but I have no doubt there are countless more women out there who we can celebrate and be inspired by.

In the comments below, give a shout out to a woman you know who could be a role model for Lynn and others.

And/or, let me know what dream you’re inspired to go for now that you know age is not an issue.

Important: share your thoughts and ideas directly in the comments. Links to other posts, videos, etc. will be deleted as they come across as spammy.

Thank you SO very much for watching, commenting and sharing.

Your light is a gift to this community and the world.

If you have friends, clients or colleagues who wonder if they’re too old to start a business or anything else, please share this post.

With so much love,

XO
